Alignment Scam alert! I have an older VW van. Tire purchase to include 'special rate' alignment. I was charged $80 for an alignment that could not be properly done. 1st, the service desk told me, "there is no Caster adjustment on that vehicle." "Ah, but there certainly is! And I've installed new Radius Rods to make it easier to adjust!" (I've been a mechanic for 40+ yrs). "Well, our Hunter machine can't do Caster measurements on that van", "no way to override the Machine", thus no Caster adjustments done. Ya can't do a camber adjustment on these old VW's if ya can't get caster within specs, thus ya can't do a proper alignment! Van was in shop for 20 mins so I know the tech never put a wrench on it. No tech came to me about inability to do full alignment beforehand. 2 weeks previous, Service writer informed me that they can't mount tires on new rims if I did not buy rims from them. They did not tell me this upon my previous inquiry & appointment set up on tire purchase, (they eventually mounted tires anyway & did a good job on that). read more

If I could give the West Lebanon, NH Town Fair Tires location zero stars or negative stars I would. On the morning of 11/14/25 as I was enjoying my morning commute to work, I noticed I was quickly losing tire pressure in my passenger rear tire. I took the next exit, found a gas station and called for a tow to Town Fair Tires to have the tire replaced. Being late-fall, I understand that many people are changing their tires over in preparation for the New England winter roads. The gentleman at the counter attempted to turn me away despite Town Fair tire ADVERTISING (falsely) that walk-ins are welcome. I was charged $181.72 for the service, I turned over my keys and began waiting. The invoice was printed at 0940. At around 2:00 in the afternoon, I decided to ask for a status. After several minutes a gentleman told me that it wouldn't be long and my service would be complete. I decided to walk to a nearby store and found my car parked at the edge of the lot, where it's likely been sitting all day. I returned to the counter and asked for my keys and a refund which was issued at 1409. I sat, waiting for over 4 hours for a single tire, which would be easier to accept if I didn't also witness a lot of wasteful activities by employees during this time period. I had my vehicle towed to another tire shop less than 2 miles down the road to have the tire replaced. I will likely not do business with Town Fair Tire ever again due to this experience. I hope that this review serves to help others who need help, this place is not recommended. On Saturday 11/15/25 I received a notification that there was a response to my review on Google by a Mr. Rich Allen, Director of customer service for town fair tires. He offered his number (1-800-972-2245 extension 213) to discuss my issue further. I'll never return. Took my vehicle in for a single tire blowout today. Cheapest 16inch tire was $159. Then while the guy was talking about tires he added in that it may need an alignment. Keep in mind the car is still in the parking lot. I told him I just had an inspection a week ago and had the alignment done. He said okay. 30 minutes later my car is done and he says "The tire was replaced and I dont know where you got your alignment done, but it wasn't done so we did it for you." Shows me an alignment printout of where it was and where it is. Then says, "It's gonna be $273.12." Me, thinking its a law to have the alignment correct before operating a car when tires need repairing (I'm from out of state) was upset but didnt say anything. But I could see he knew I was upset. I later learn that I was legally robbed but could have fought and had them not charge for the alignment. Be careful with these places, know what is legal and not and be specific as to what you want done. I'll never return. read more

They do a decent job, but calling them is awful. It's near to impossible to call them on the phone directly. It seems that even though their phone number is local, your call gets forwarded to someone somewhere else. The person who took my call was dumber than a stump. I told here I wanted an appointment for a Winter tire swap. I had to explain to her what that means. Then she asked me if I wanted to put the Summer tires on or the Winter tires. I asked why anyone would swap to Summer tires in the middle of the Winter.... crickets. I got a text for only ONE of the two appointments. I gave her the same phone number for both. I went to Town Fair Tire in West Lebanon to get an alignment after I had already gone to Midas in West Lebanon for the same thing only to have them tell me. "We couldn't finish the alignment because of a bolt that was stuck." Winter was extremely quick, helpful, and even made me feel like I was family when I asked him if a "Bolt was stuck or if they had any problems getting it aligned." They all did an amazing job, but I really wanted to share about the customer service experience Winter gave. 10/10 will be back, very much so recommended, especially with tire season around the corner! read more

I brought my Rav4 yesterday to remove the snow tires and to mount the summer tires. I was put on a waiting list, but the company made an effort to accommodate me. I went home completely pleased; however, upon closer inspection, two of the brand new snap on hubcaps that I installed last week were cracked. When leaving my night shift ER gig, I always do a walk around my vehicle. I noticed a nail in the sidewall of one tire, not leaking air, but knew it couldn't be repaired due to the location. It was getting close to time for new tires anyway. So I stopped in at Town Fair Tire (after stopping at a competitor who didn't have my size tires in stock), they were able to get me in right then due to an appointment cancellation (thanks for whoever did that), put on a set of new tires that I liked that they had in stock, and all within the time frame quoted. Make sure you do your research when buying wheels from this franchise. They will sell their wheels/tires for a 200-300 dollars more than what they're worth and then claim they are giving a free included deal for putting the tires on the wheels, balancing and putting them on the vehicle. They seem to pride themselves on that and claim its "free for their valued customer" Nothing is free my friend. Because I had my own tires put on they also refused to clean and polish my tires with the brand new wheels I bought from them, so I left the shop with shiny wheels and dirty tires. Oh well. They don't value their customer. They are a franchise with their own set of rules. They also didn't provide a new set of lug nuts that went with the new wheels. They put my stock ones on? Seriously? I had to go back and pick up my new lugs. Needless to say, I was in a pinch and had to go to town fair tire to get it done. But I would never do it again. I bought 4 tires for my Escape. While watching there tv monitor I saw them try using their lift many times then went to a couple floor jacks. I thought that was odd. I was their for a long time and asked why they used floor jacks and was told they did not know but that sometimes that's just what they do. I needed to get the car inspected a couple weeks later and was told it wouldn't pass. They said that where their lift pressure points are the metal is all rusted out causing a danger. Looks like they wanted to sell the tires so badly they didn't want to tell me. The thing is they also must have known it was unsafe to drive, this is what my mechanic said. I could say other things bad about that days visit but I don't need to this is bad enough. They give a low price on the phone but nickle & dime you to death. Stay away from this place. read more

I just waited 5 hours to be told we refuse to mount 2 snow tires on the front of my front wheel drive vehicle. The "DOT" prohibits it! I expected a wait because of covid but why did it take 5 hours to tell be they wouldn't. The appointment I made called for two tires, the envelope I completed stated 2 tires. Why did it take five hours to figure out something so basic. I purchased the tires there and had them changed there in the past. I was offered to purchase two additional tires at 1:00pm. Very kind. My car had 4 new tires put on. 3 of the 4 were the right size. They said that an alignment had been done when it had not been done. If they had done it with 2 different size tires like were actually on it at the time I would not rely on it. The second time we went they were skipping the alignment again with the reasoning being it would be the same as yesterday's alignment to which I replied, you mean the one that was not done yesterday? I do not know how you put 3 tires of one size and 1tire of a different size. It is obvious that there is lack of attention to detail and no double checking to make sure you have the right items. If you like poor communication, inconvenience, and being talked down to: THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! We chose Town Fair Tire in Lebanon, NH bc it was convenient to my husband's work. It is over a hour away from us where we live but it's about 15 minutes from my husband's job. We've normally had pretty descent service with them in the past but this time was the exception and we will not be using them ever again. We dropped off our car Saturday morning to put winter tires on our vehicle. At around 3:30 in the afternoon, we contacted them to see if the vehicle was ready in which we were told it was all set. Seeing that they closed at 4, we asked if we could make a payment over the phone b/c we had a hour ride and would not make it there for 4. We were told that it was "illegal" to make payments over the phone. This is the first time I have ever heard this. This is the first time anyone I told ever heard about this. It is definitely not illegal. But whatever. So we asked if there was a way to maybe pay online. The thought process being that we could pay, have them put the keys in the vehicle, and we could then go pick the vehicle up. Nope, can't do that either. So we had to wait until Monday to go get our vehicle... fine, it is what it is. My neighbor was heading that way anyways that morning so he was able to drop my husband off at work so that I could get my oldest to school and head on down to Lebanon to pay our invoice. I get to Town Fair and at this point my toddler has had enough with traveling. I know, I know... definitely not Town Fair's problem. I get into the building and waited for what seemed like forever to even be acknowledged that I was standing there with a now screaming 2 year old. Finally, we were called up to the desk to pay our bill. I mention to the person ringing me out that my husband won't be able to get the car until after work, not even so much as an acknowledgment that I said anything. Cool, ok. He then proceeds to tell me that they weren't able to do the alignment bc something was frozen. I will readily admit that I know nothing about cars so I had really no clue what he was talking about but figured I'd just tell my husband so he could call them and ask. I should point out that when we called them Saturday, this may have been the perfect time for them to tell us, "Yes, the car is ready but we couldn't do the alignment bc of this." But no, that may be asking too much I'm assuming. I contact my husband about the "frozen" thing and he said he would call just to see what was going on with the car. This is when he got to speak to the most pleasant women probably in all of Lebanon. He questioned why they couldn't do the alignment and she told him what the guy had told me. My husband asked for a little more info in which she replied "Ask your mechanic what a lug nut is" before she hung up the phone on him. I'm fairly confident that my husband know what a lug nut is. We will never use them again and we will also be telling everyone we know to not use them. We will go down the road to get our tires services for now on. If I didn't have to give them a star, I wouldn't have. read more

I made an appointment for an alignment. When I came in, they checked my tires to make sure I didn't need replacements and didn't try to sell me unnecessary tires. They did a wonderful job on the alignment and it only took a little over a half an hour. I will be back the next time I need tires or tire services and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone who needs the same. read more

Honest, kind, compassionate, and generous. I simply cannot say enough about TFT and Kevin. If I could give them extra stars I would. I was in the area this past weekend for a class reunion and had the misfortune of bursting a tire on my rental late Saturday afternoon. AAA came along and replaced the damaged tire with the spare, stating the obvious--the old tire was no good. Additionally, I couldn't drive more than 50 miles on the spare. I phoned around to virtually every tire place and no one was open! I was in very deep doo-doo! When I got through to Town Fair Tire, Kevin, the store manager answered the phone and said sorry, they were closed and just cleaning up, and not re-opening until Monday. He obviously heard the distress in my voice so asked what was going on. I told him and he immediately said to bring the car in and he'd take care of it. Once I got there, he could have taken advantage of my desperate situation, and I think many places would have. But instead of selling me the most expensive tire there he found a VERY reasonably-priced, decent tire. Kevin and his crew fitted the new tire, checked the others, rotated them and within about half an hour I was on my way. If there's such a thing as Karma, Kevin, has a lot coming his way. If you're looking for tires, TFT should be at the top of your list of places to go. No question about it! I promise you won't be disappointed. read more

I want to thank Town Fair Tire, especially Eddie and Sean, in helping me with my car. I am staying in Lebanon NH from Pennsylvania and I don't know a soul. I am also living in a hotel while I am doing some work here. I had a problem with one of my tires (I have Pirelli tires), but when I called the Porsche dealership to bring my car there, I was also told that they would need to keep my car for two weeks or more because they were busy. Two weeks? Really???? For a problem with a tire?? I then called Town Fair Tire Centers of New Hampshire. That was the best thing I could have done. They saw me right away, they were very nice, they were competent, and they fixed my problem immediately. In other words, they were great!!! I cannot thank them enough. I don't even know where to begin. It seems every time I go here, something bad happens. Whether it's waiting a ridiculous amount of time, even though I have an "appointment" or something else. This time they actually finished fairly early. But when I arrived to grab my vehicle, I noticed different lug nuts on my wheels and no hubcaps. They explained that the lug nuts were garbage and trashed them. They replaced them with aftermarket lugs, so now I get to carry around one of those keys to ensure a mechanic can remove my tires. They didn't charge me for them, so not necessarily a huge problem. I just have a hard time believing that a vehicle, at most, 5 years old, two times a year getting tire changeovers, has garbage lug nuts. Secondly, I bought the tires from them. Online it states that you get free winter changeovers for the life of the tire. I had the surprise of a $50 charge. Yes, free changeovers, but balancing is a separate charge. Unf*cking believable! This rating reflects only today's visit, and not my previous visits to this business, which have been better. I bought 4 new all season tires at Town Fair Tire on April 30th. After about a month, a slow leak appeared in one of them that required me to re-inflate it about once a week. I made an appointment at Town Fair for this morning, as I was bringing the car to the local Subaru dealer later in the afternoon to trade it in for a new one and wanted to make sure everything was in good shape. After the usual long wait, Town Fair fixed what turned out to be a problem with the tire bead at no charge and I was pleased with the outcome. As I got ready to get into the car, which, by the way, I had spent many hours cleaning yesterday to get it ready to sell, I saw to my horror that one of the employees had gotten a lot of grease stains on the driver's seat while driving it into and out of the garage bay to work on it. The upholstery on the seat is a bone color and had been pristine, as I always had a seat cover on it until removing it yesterday to use on my new car. When I went back inside the store to ask if they had some cleaner I could use to remove the stains, a very nice young man came out and tried his best to get them out with a spray can of upholstery cleaner and paper towels, but the results were pretty bad - the cleaner only spread the grease around and left residue of its own as well. I also didn't notice until later the grease fingerprints on the inside of the driver's door, but those I managed to get off myself, as they were on plastic. I did comment to the nice young man that employees who drive other people's cars at Town Fair should put plastic sheets over the driver's seats before sitting down and he said, "They're supposed to." I am guessing that the manager will make sure this does not happen again, but to be safe, I suggest that if you patronize Town Fair Tire in West Lebanon, NH, you specify that they cover your seat before getting in to drive your car, and remove any other marks they leave. Pad the bill with valve stems $4 EACH and computer balancing $17 EACH and a "half price" alignment ($89/2=$49? common core??) plus add tire disposal charges and only three and a half hours later you are out the door with NO road hazard warranty. UNSAFE and rude. I've never written a Yelp review but feel strongly that people should stay away from this place. Most importantly, after having a few switches done here, I had to return every time because there were issues. I had to wait again and it was a struggle to get a clear explanation of the reason for the issues. Not once were tires installed correctly the first time. NOT SAFE. Very understandably, right now there are long waits due to winter tire switches and COVID. I get it. When making the appointment I was told to drop it off at 8:30 AM and the latest pick up would be 5 pm. At 4:15 I went in to check after being unable to get through by phone. After being ignored, I asked a manager for an update. He laughed at me. He said they close at six but they stay until 9-10 pm finishing. He did not check to see if I would have another hour or 5 hour wait. After continued rudeness, he told me I should have made an appointment a month ago and handed me my key, job not done. This with less than an hour and half of their business hours left and after already having my car for 8 hours. In addition, I clearly witnessed this manager accept cash from the person in front of me. He had to go around the COVID barrier to accept and pocket the cash for himself. Makes me wonder how they prioritize service and customer care. Unprofessional and inappropriate for a manager. Please work on training your entire staff more effectively. Techs should be trained to change tires correctly and SAFELY the first time. Train your call centers to make appropriate appointments. Don't just make up pick up times and cram too many appointments in. I would rather have to wait a few weeks and have it done correctly, safely, and without feeling like I am an inconvenience to the managers. If they can't do the job correctly when not rushed, I am concerned how many unsafe mistakes are made when they are rushed and overworked. And, please, train your management so you don't have frazzled, rude, and incompetent people being the face of your business. STAY SAFE on the roads and go somewhere else for your tire needs. read more
