Avoid this location like the plague. Two reasons: terrible quality control and a manager who is truly vicious. I had Jiffy Lube batteries installed in two different cars. When the first one failed after a few months, the manager Anthony told me it wasn't the battery it was my alternator which they can't test. I paid Midas to test it. They said it was fine. I paid to have the dealer look at it and they said Jiffy Lube installed the wrong battery. Anthony was not only insistent that they'd installed the right battery. When I tried to point out the error he immediately interrupted me and talked over me, not letting me say a single word that he wasn't speaking over. It was bizarre, awful, rude, and obviously very upsetting since he smiles just fine when someone isn't saying something he doesn't want to hear. It was truly malignant behavior. I had the dealer install the correct battery and Jiffy Lube national apologized and refunded my purchase price. Fast forward six months and the battery in the other car failed within the warranty period. As with before, I had to jump it numerous times. I brought it in and was told that it tested fine and the problem was the alternator. They called Anthony, still the manager but not in the branch that day. He reiterated it's not the battery it's the alternator. When I mentioned that this was the same situation I'd experienced before, Anthony said that was "entirely irrelevant." He talked on another two or three minutes. When I started to say, quite calmly, "I dont think it's entirely irrelevant" - he started speaking over me. When I asked if I could make my case, he spoke over me. He would not let me say a single word. Literally not a word. Our conversation was on a speaker phone. His staff could all hear his approach. I was embarrassed for them to hear their manager treat a customer so awfully. Fast forward, the dealer tested the alternator. It's working perfectly. They tested the battery and it failed. They said the plates are faulty. Once again I'm out for having the system tested. And now Jiffy Lube is being a challenge since that location was sold and they are trying to pass me off to the manufacturer which tells me I need to speak with Jiffy Lube. Oh, and I was told that when Jiffy Lube did the last oil change they didn't install a drain plug gasket. Bottom line, STAY AWAY FROM THIS TOXIC LOCATION!! read more

THE WORST JIFFY LUBE IN THE WORLD. Back in OCTOBER of 2018, I went to the Jiffy Lube in West Lebanon to get my RAV 4 an oil change. By the time I got back to Vermont, My car engine had stalled several times. I made it into my mechanic who said that JIFFY LUBE had not done the oil change properly and the oil had ALL LEAKED OUT. I was lucky not to have blown the engine. Starting in October of 2018 I sent proof of what my mechanic had said ( with pictures). The managers at Jiffy Lube have been promising a refund since then. so far NOTHING. Do not go to these people!!!! i left this jiffy lube with unsafe brakes after a simple brake fluid service. avoid this location if you care about your vehicle or your safety. the brake pedal sank nearly to the floor. i was told by store manager (anthony) it was "legally drivable" because it was 2 inches above the floor. at the direction of jiffy lube's own regional manager (greg), i took the car to midas the same day, where their certified technicians added a full pint of brake fluid and re-bled the entire system. they confirmed the car was not safe to drive in the condition it left jiffy lube. when i brought this evidence back to jiffy lube, the store manager (anthony) said "they might have made it up since you took it to the third party, competitor midas," accused midas of fabricating the issue and called their professionalism into question, implying that the third-party shop lied about the condition of my brakes. this attempt to discredit midas felt like an effort to avoid responsibility and shift blame unfairly onto another business that provided honest, professional service. anthony also said "shit, i lost a customer because of this," directly in front of me, and later threatened to call the police while i calmly explained the situation. they still refuse to refund the original faulty service. no apology. no accountability. no resolution. still no contact from jiffy lube corporate. if no response is received, i'll be pursuing the matter in small claims court. again: avoid this location if you care about your vehicle or your safety. read more

This jiffy lube was terrible! My car with my family inside had to pull over due to our brake light being on in our dash, when decided to go to this jiffy lube to check our brake fluid and get it replaced, however when we got there their very passive aggressive mechanic told us that our car lacked a lot of brake fluid yet refused to fill it up even though it was a very simple task that wouldn't take more than 2 minutes because we needed" an appointment" luckily there was a Midas nearby and their staff were actually particularly helpful and ended up agreeing to fill our brake fluid but when they opened the hood they found it was full. DONT GO TO THIS JIFFY LUBE in general the total incompetence and passive aggressive nature of their employees is frankly unacceptable and I hope you don't go here for any car related needs!!!! read more

This Jiffy Lube location is always fantastic! I've been coming here for over four years. Today, I came in at about five minutes before 6 PM. Instead of turning me away because they were about to close, they took me in an open bay. I have a BMW and not every location is always equipped with the correct filter, but this Jiffy Lube had it as well as the correct oil. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. The men working here were friendly, professional, and even went the extra mile to reset my internal gauges. I highly recommend Jiffy Lube on Market Street in West Leb! read more

My wife was driving on a business trip through New Hampshire when her oil light briefly blinked on. I was able to locate the Jiffy Lube in West Lebanon and ask ahead if they had the correct oil filter in stock. They had the right filter and were able to get her back on the road in 50 minutes. The promise is actually 20 minutes, (which is technically true) but it's a first-come-first-served retail business. So unless it's empty, plan on waiting. I'm not a picky person yet this place does deserve the review I've given it. The kids working here are borderline clueless. Let's start with time. It should not take over an hour for an oil change. I started out with one service tech and ended up with a different one. During this long ordeal I watched the guy who was in his vehicle next to me outside get so frustrated. he moved back and forth two different times because the techs are that slow. Then there was a mass confusion on the techs part over a part #. The first tech told me it'd be $88 for the oil change which btw is astronomical????? Then the second tech tells me it's $117? I asked him why since the first tech said with my military discount it'd be $88. He said well if it's more than 5 quarts then we charge more for the extra oil. After I left there (because I was traveling didn't want to waste more time) I checked the bill. I was charged $40 for an air filter I was never asked about nor received???? trust me I watched and I did not receive one. Now I'm out $40 which does not jive with his extra oil nonsense. Today, I decided to do a drive-through oil change at the West Lebanon Jiffy Lube. The person who greeted me asked me if I used synthetic oil, and I told him I didn't know. I showed him the tag from Prompto that I had used in my last oil change. There were no service prices posted in the service area, only inside by the counter (I saw them later - continue reading). Following the service, the same gentleman took my card, went to the office, ran the bill, and met me outside at my car. When I questioned the $110 charge for an oil change that normally costs me $50-60, the employee replied with a comment about how I knew what I had requested and that's what they charge - - have a nice day. I sat in my car for a minute, and found the receipt my last oil change, which was $56 at Prompto. I decided to dispute the charge, and I requested to speak with the manager. I explained to him exactly what had occurred. Instead of acknowledging my concern, he told me that I had requested the highest type of oil. That simply wasn't the case. Then, he proceeded to tell me that if they had used the same type of oil that I used for my $56 last oil change with the other provider, Jiffy Lube still would have charged me $104. I asked them why they would charge twice as much as another provider (and not post or review the charges with the customers). He said the competitors don't provide the same level of service. I asked him to explain the additional services Jiffy Lube provides, and he told me that they vacuum the car. I told him no one vacuumed my car (in any case - a $50 vac)?! He told me I decided to stay in my car during the oil change, so they didn't do it. I told him I was never told the cost, the options, to leave my car, or any other reasonably expected information that I would've appreciated ahead of time. BTW: it was busy, and no one in the three bays left their cars during their service. He then told me not to tell him how to train his staff, and that I was being rude. I told him I was not; I was simply advocating for an acceptable level of service and communication. At no time did I raise my voice. He told me he was going to refund me the $50, but he certainly didn't have to do that - he worked for Jiffy Lube, not Prompto, and he included a veiled threat that he wasn't going to process the refund if I continued to talk to him. At this point, other people were around the counter, and he told me to be quiet because we have nothing more to say. I couldn't believe the level of rudeness from this manager. I so rarely feel the need to address an issue, and on the few times that I have, I've always had polite interactions with the managers where I either came to understand how the problem occurred or they've corrected the issue. This guy told me that he learned everything from his regional and district manager about how to run the shop and deal with customers and he didn't need me telling him how to do it. I was so shaken after this interaction. I don't always use my mechanic for oil changes, but when I have gone to Prompto or something similar, they always review the different levels of service and the cost with me beforehand, and they charge a fair and competitive price. My bad for assuming that if I showed them my Prompto tag, I would have similar service and price. Lesson learned. I now feel that it was naïve to assume that when I go to complete a simple task like an oil change, we can trust the service provider. The West Lebanon manager was abominably rude, and the other employees clearly just follow along and do what they're told. They told me I would have to go down the street and buy the oil and come back and get in line . I understand being short staffed but they didn't seem to care . Went here on 4/10 for a simple oil change. Aside from the fact it took over an hour (no wait and other cars had come and gone), the employees were rude and condescending and I left on the verge of tears. I'll admit, I'm a younger woman and know absolutely nothing about cars, and I'm sure they could tell that. When they popped my hood they had me get out of my vehicle "to listen to how bad my engine sounded" and then proceeded to shove the oil stick in my face (without saying anything, like I was supposed to just know what I was looking at" but I guess it was dry (no shit that's why I'm there for an oil change.) Proceeded to make me feel bad for not letting them fix other problems on my car. Maybe it's a power move for them idk, but either way you work at a jiffy lube just do the oil change and I'll bring my car to an actual mechanic for the other work. I went in on my lunch hour for what was supposed to be a quick oil change and tire rotation. I waited about an hour just to get in the bay and watched my car sit without being worked on for another hour. I was then confronted with my air filters and suggestion of unnecessary services to be added to my vehicle. Total lack of communications and poor time management capabilities had me sitting in the waiting room for over four hours witnessing rude staff interactions between themselves and other customers. Guys were walking around blaring music on their phones, gossiping, and chain smoking. Everyone seemed rushed, but nothing seemed to be getting done. All of the other customers in the lobby were visibly upset. Two and half hours in, I get notified that the have broken not one, but two lugnuts off of my wheel and my car is undrivable, he tried to get me new bolts before checking that he could not replace them, adding even more time. He pulled my car out of the bay and neglected to speak to me for an update, leaving me in the wait room clueless that i needed to organize a tow and repair myself. His apologies were insincere and I had to be towed and damages to my vehicle from their negligence were significant. I was and have not yet been refunded for my services provided. Repairs for their mistake cost me over $500 at the dealership. I did not have a vehicle for the entire following weekend. When i returned with the dealership bill asking for any kind of reimbursement, Anthony called me "uneducated." Infuriating. I have never witnessed this amount of poor service, lack of mechanical ability, or quality of customer interaction in my life! It really was surreal. Will not be returning here. read more

I went to this Jiffy Lube for the first time earlier today and was underwhelmed to say the least. Admittedly, I was already somewhat worried about the place as my fiancé tried to have her oil changed last week and she had to leave without any service being completed since the workers there couldn't figure out how to remove the oil drain plug (interesting for an oil place right?). Nonetheless, I tried to give them a shot on my car. I pulled up and there was a line so I waited patiently. When it was my turn, I pulled up to the garage (did not enter mind you) and waited for a cue to pull in. The manager (I think) Bret started yelling at me "do you see a sign that says pull in--- no you don't". After a few more odd moments of chastising me (for sitting there patiently?), he told me to pull forward. I waited another 30 mins and got a synthetic blend 5w-30 (at least that's what I paid for-- who knows what I got lol). No other service was provided. My tire pressures were not checked. Fluid levels were not checked. I was not shown the dipstick level post change. He handed me the mileage sticker instead of putting it on the window. Nothing... guess I'm spoiled from previous oil changes? I gave Bret my card who ran away to another station with it which was kinda odd. 5-10 mins later he returned with my card and I left. They accidentally forgot to change the rear blade- we went back- very apologetic- gave us a coupon for next time and I dont know just seemed so sincere in their apology. I've used this Jiffy Lube on occasion for the past 15 years without issues, but then I stopped in for an oil change in August as I set off on a road trip. About three hours after I left, my low oil light came on, which I thought was odd. When I was able to get to a rest stop, I pulled in and saw that oil was dripping out of the car. When I popped the hood, I saw the unscrewed oil cap resting on the battery area to the right of the oil tank - they had not replaced it when they were done. There was oil all over my engine. I was upset, and called to let them know, assuming that they would apologize for the error and offer some sort of refund. Boy was I wrong. What happened instead was an abusive, insulting, confusing conversation with Anthony, the manager, who told me that he watched a video recording of my service, and the cap had been put back on. He further told me that it would have been impossible for me to drive away if the cap had been left off, because "Subarus don't start unless the oil cap is on." I was incredulous. I said there was no other way this could have happened. He repeatedly asked me what I wanted him to do, and I said, Apologize and give me a refund. He repeatedly told me that they had nothing to apologize for and that I could take up a refund request with their national office, but that he had proof that they'd done nothing wrong. He eventually hung up on me. It was, as another reviewer wrote, a totally surreal experience. I felt like I was on hidden camera - I have never had a customer service interaction like that in my life. Here is the thing - I drove with oil splashing all over my engine for hours. It could have caught fire. It could have seized. I could have been seriously injured. As it turned out, the next day, Anthony found another video that showed that the technician had, in fact, removed the cap a second time and then not replaced it. My Subaru had, in fact, been able to start and drive away without the cap being replaced. To his credit, he called and told me that. And yet, he continued to be abusive, unkind, and belittling. I did get refunded for the oil change, but was offered nothing in the way of a truly apologetic conversation for the potentially very dangerous mistake, and for his treatment. All of these poor reviews have the same note from Jiffy Lube - "Give us your contact information and a good time to reach you." This is schtick. They do not contact people. I tried leaving feedback and asking for contact on their website in August. I am still waiting. It's a Jiffy Lube. I expect the overpricing and sales pitches for parts, etc. But having your safety risked and then being verbally abused for it is insane. Shame on whoever owns this business now for operating it this way. read more

I was low on oil so went to Jiffy Lube before work. Drove 25 mi from rural area. Opened at 7:00.....but they were not open. Called and told there was no help and maybe open at 7:30....I could not get in anywhere else so went back at 7:30....only to be told they did not have my oil filter and could I come back!!!!!! The service and speed were excellent but I question the upselling practices. Once my car was brought into the bay it was examined and an attendant brought me out to go over the service I needed. I was told that I had a brake light out and would I like it replaced, I said no. I was told that my antifreeze was low and asked if I wanted it filled, I said no. Immediately after the service I pulled over and checked my brake lights. All were fine; brake lights, turn signal, parking lights and I even checked the license plate lights in case they were mistaken, nope all lights were fine. As for being low on anti freeze, the print out I received from them showed it as being full. Before you agree to service, ask to actually see the problem. read more

My air conditioning was not working and I asked the price of recharging it as I was there for an oil change. This is in West Lebanon NH. Was told 150 dollars which seemed like a lot but it was very hot that day. I asked if they tried to do it and there was a problem that they could not address what I would be charged. They said there would be no charge. So I had the work done. It was reasonably cool when I drove away but not for long. A couple of weeks later it was blowing very warm air. I went back and was told "all we do is recharge them" and "you must have deeper problems". Apparently they put refrigerant in. Whether it's going to stay in or not is my problem. I thought that when a recharge was done that a vacuum was put on the system to remove everything and to check for leaks. Apparently they are going to make money off me, and if the environment has to pay the price, so be it. After thinking back on it, they did not have time to check for leaks. Never again! read more

I walked on over from the grocery store to ask if they had availability, and Scott came over to me right away to let me know they had time! Once in the garage, Anthony helped me out. I was over-due for an oil change and felt kind of embarrassed (in the past getting oil changes elsewhere, people have made me feel bad about it) but he was really pleasant and reassured me that it happens/ isn't a big deal. I've been a loyal customer of the West Lebanon Jiffy Lube for as long as I've lived here in the Upper Valley - 17+ years.  Unfortunately, at my last oil change, I was deceived by one of the service technicians into believing that I would receive a replacement part at no cost only to determine after I left the service center that I'd been charged for part on my credit card. Here is what happened. I stopped by Jiffy Lube on my way to the supermarket to get my regular oil change. I had to go through the classic Jiffy Lube sales pitches from one technician about changing my air filter & cabin filter - nothing too egregious. Meanwhile, down below I could feel the yanking and cranking motion of a tech attempting to remove the oil pan cap. (It's a Toyota 2013 which has a plastic cap, not a plug.) I was reminded of my most recent oil change when I felt the same action coming from below - extreme yanking and cranking to get the cap off. Soon the tech approached and said that I needed to have the cap replaced due to a crack. I immediately remembered my previous visit and how the cap was yanked, violently shaking the whole car, and I told the tech that any damage to the cap was due to their heavy-handed and crude efforts to remove the cap, not only this time, but the last time I was there, as well. I asked how much it would cost to replace. The tech said $60. I asked him to show me the cap, which he did, but he couldn't point to a crack, just extreme wear on the cap where the wrench had been applied to remove it. I didn't mention catching him in a lie (crack vs. extreme wear) but continued to press the fact that the problem was caused by Jiffy Lube - not me. That's when the technician told me that Jiffy Lube would change the cap at no charge. I agreed, paid for the oil change with my credit card, and asked for a receipt. After I pulled out of the service bay, I sat in the parking lot and looked over the receipt. That's when I realized that I had been charged $60.00 for the part after all. That was quite the shock! So, I promptly went inside to speak with the young manager who unapologetically informed me that I couldn't leave without paying for the part. Even after I explained to him that his technician had promised me that I would receive the part at no cost, he didn't change his course. In fact, he showed no concern about my being misinformed by one of his techs. At that time, I told the manager that his tech had also lied about the crack's existence, in the first place. I explained that the cap was merely worn down from all the yanking - not actually cracked. He returned to the bay to retrieve the cap but was unable to show me a crack, either. He justified the tech's replacing the cap by noting that if it had cracked while I was driving that I could have experienced the engine losing all its oil. (If that had happened Jiffy Lube would have had a lawsuit on its hands!) When all was said and done, because the techs had so mishandled the cap at my previous visit, I would eventually have had no choice but to pay to replace the cap, but the fact that I was told that the part would be replaced at no charge gave me peace of mind that the service technicians were out to right a wrong that they had created. Instead, they were simply trying to assuage me to get me off the premises. They made a mistake and were conspiring to cover it up. The young manager, by refusing to honor his tech's promise, just lost the repeat business of a long-time customer with multiple daily driver cars, all over a $60 part. Sadly, Chris read more

I went in for a radiator flushing of my 2006 Mustang that I took out of storage. While doing the flushing, the staff went out of there way to make sure everything was working well. They noticed a muffler bracket and floor board heat plate loose and tightened everything. There was a oil pan gasket old and slightly leaking which they repaired. Quite possibly the least helpful place I have taken my car. Just stopped by for an inspection after registering my car. The man told me it would take an hour - fine. I ask and he agrees to install my new front and back license plates. After waiting for 30 minutes, a lady comes by to ask me how long I was told for the inspection; when I replied, "about an hour", she says, "it will be way longer than that" without giving me a timeline. Another 15 minutes pass and she returns to tell me that my car will fail inspection. After inquiring as to why it will fail, I was told it was because the license plates were not on my car. Yes, the same license plates that I was told they would install 45 minutes earlier... 45 minutes gone - thanks for nothing, Jiffy Lube. read more

Usually do the changes myself...but with the temps so low I decided to have it done. Brought my own oil and filter. Being the first time since I got the car they answered my questions about filter location, and noticed the air filter in the back and offered to change it for me...vacuumed out my air box. One of the guys mentioned my heat shield was loose and offered to pull it off since it was just rattling around. Over all 4 guys vacuuming the interior, washing the windows, changing oil and air filters and all done in less than 20 min of pulling in....made my day! Two things off my todo list! read more

I had a scare two months back when I took my Miata in for an oil change, and after they were done they couldn't restart it. One of the workers clearly knew his cars and diagnosed it to be a rusted clasp close to the oil filter, which must have been knocked (not faulting them for that) and broke the circuit to the starter. He showed me how to safely poke it if the problem recurs (so far so good) and saved me the cost of a trip to the mechanic. I was most grateful. I thought I'd give a contrary opinion because it seems like a place people will only review if they have a bad experience -- what do you expect? It's a Jiffy Lube. Pretty typical oil change shop. Dirty waiting room, but friendly staff. You can usually be in and out with an oil change in an hour. It's more expensive than you'd pay at a dealership, but you don't need an appointment to get your car in. They are nice and friendly and seem to know what the hell theyre doing. And they don't. The last time I got my oil changed there my car started to make loud noises afterward. I checked the oil and it had been WAY overfilled. Brought it to a reputable auto shop and I had to pay to have them drain the oil. This can cause long-term expensive engine problems having your oil overfilled. Screw you, Jiffy lube. read more
