I have been getting my haircut here for years. Retired from Marine Corps but do not want a high and tight anymore. I always wait for Sue as she always cuts my hair the way I want it. Good place. Lady a bit rough on the skin but razor skin fade on point. Only thing missing was the hot towel. But for 10 bucks you can't beat it. Came here as a last second thing looking for a place that took card since most places are cash. Id go again if i need too. read more

I asked for a low fade with a small trim off the top and my barber immediately cut way too high and way too short. I tried to ask her to stop cutting my hair so I could try to find a different barber to fix my hair but I don't think she understood what I said. The fade didn't go to a "zero" like I asked. I had to go to a different barber shop to try to fix my haircut. If I could have given this a zero star review, I would have. This was a huge disappointment and I don't recommend anyone go here. read more

How has this wonderful establishment not been reviewed yet? I was in need of a good trim while visiting my parents over Christmas holiday last year and took my father's advice to come here. Before I went he told me they gave a brief neck and shoulder massage at the end of the haircut. I was hooked. The shop itself is extremely comfortable. I instantly felt welcome and cared for, as I took a seat on one of the plush couches that line the waiting area. Flat screen tv's tuned into Sports Center line the walls. This place is made for guys. After a very brief wait it was time for the cut. With little direction, the woman cutting my hair worked wonders. She cleaned me up perfectly. My dad didn't steer me wrong here. At the end of my haircut I was lathered up with hot shaving cream and got a nice massage. All of this for one of the cheapest haircuts I've ever gotten. Next time I'm in town I'll be sure to stop in to visit the wonderful women at the Towne Barber Shop. read more

I have curly hair.. I've been paying ridiculous prices for years to get my hair cut only to usually be very disappointed, or Meh about the results.. Went to Towne Barber Shop for the first time, and I have found my barber for life... A very clean, well lit shop.. there is a poster on the wall of various haircuts ..I chose the style I wanted and she began... I was thoroughly amazed.. it was exactly what I wanted.. completely even everywhere... my eyebrows were trimmed, my ears were trimmed, a hot towel, a massage....I was in heaven... my nephew turned me on to this shop and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results! I've heard that Sue is a good barber. I've had Ms. Young (third chair from the right) cut my hair twice. Both times she ignored what I told her I wanted and butchered the job. If I go back, I'll wait for Sue. Probably won't go back though. read more

Based upon the previous two reviews I decided to try this place in my search of a new shop. I was very satisfied and will be returning in the future. Clean and comfortably furnished! I was greeted warmly and the care/time put into my cut, hot towel, and massage made me feel as if the $12 was worth it. Could I find similar elsewhere? Maybe, but the out of the way location makes me think this is a jem worth coming back to. read more

Very nice barber shop. I went there for a military hair cut, but there were also civilians there. They did the haircut I asked for very well. Finished the hair cut with a razor and hot shaving cream followed by a shoulder massage. Also very great prices at $8 for a military hair cut. I will be back. read more
