This car wash was good but I genuinely don't think it's ok for them to charge my credit card after I went in person and told them I did not have money to pay for the upcoming monthly payment to continue the services. Now I got overdraft charges that the company is not going to cover. I ask for and receive the early bird special for $12.99. I pay $20.00 cash to a male who wore a shirt with the name "Jose" embroidered on it. He gives me $7.00. I check the receipt change due was $7.01. Yes it $0.01 however it is the principal. I ask him for the penny. He acts annoyed and tells me to wait while he conducts another transaction. (The other transaction had not been started). At the conclusion of the transaction, he acts put out as he reached under the register to open the drawer. He gives me the penny and walks out. I've brought my car here a handful of times and have been pleased with my wash. The guy offered me a car detail for $29.99 ($10.00 off because they were slow) which included a full wax, however I was short on time and just needed a quick wash otherwise I would have taken him up on the offer. Only two complaints: the girl at the cashier desk is not very friendly or perhaps she is shy.... not sure The inside could really use a fresh coat of paint, bathroom is dirty, and leather chairs in the waiting area are ripped and look old. With that said, all and all worth the price on Tuesday and Wednesday for a quick hand car wash. read more

So we were doing some shopping at the Long Beach Towne center and had some time to spare so decided to get my car washed since it needed it badly. When we pulled up it was pretty empty. I chose the $25 dollar package and they told me to pull forward. From there we were kind of confused since no one told us where to park it or what to do next. So we just parked it and waited in the front. As far as the car wash it wasn't bad but was far from good. So no car wash is perfect but I would think with not as many people they would have done a better job at cleaning and getting to the car dried faster. I've been to car washes that were way busier and my car still got more attention and time. I asked for cherry air freshener and it sure didn't smell like they put any or if they did maybe only one spray. To top it all off they were very rude when I handed them the tip. Ok so I'm not over here handing out big tips but I feel like $5 is plenty enough especially if it was my first time here and after seeing the quality and the rudeness I feel that tip was way more then they deserved. One of the guys was finishing up cleaning up w few spots and the guy who handed me my keys and took the tip told the worker in Spanish to stop cleaning he only gave us a dollar. Making a comment like that will make me never want to come back here again. So overall I would not come back here again. For the same price I can get a way better car wash at my local car wash where they will take more time on my car and even put Amour All on the inside of my car. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! CRACKED my windshield and lied & tried to hide it! DON'T GO HERE!!!! Turned into this place on a whim because my car was toooo dirty and my gut somehow knew I shouldn't have gotten a wash here but did it anyway. Paid for my $6.99 inside and $6.99 outside (weird that it's separate) and went to the finishing area and waited. My car came out and they turned it around to the back (instead of where I was and all of the other cars being dried) and finished it behind the building (which I was suspicious of, and asked one of the workers why they did that and he said it's for the detailing area....but I got the normal wash). They pulled the car up behind me (pic below) in the entrance (wrong side of the road) and said okay your car is ready. I asked why they finished it in the back and he said they had to do some detailing. I looked around the car and noticed the windshield was cracked and one wiper blade missing and asked why he didn't tell me that the car was damaged and why he hid it and lied to me? I asked to speak with the manager and I did and he said that they weren't liable for damage to the windshield and that he couldn't do anything about it. After speaking to the manager and his brother they said they couldn't do anything and they aren't liable. They denied me their information other than their names and wouldn't give me the owner's info and told me he lives in India... This place and their operators are so sketchy. If something happens to a car, they should be honest and up front and to AT LEAST tell the owner right away and explain what happened. Not hide the car in the back to not be seen and hope I don't see the damage and the missing wiper blade. It's a shame that this place exists in my town of LBC... read more

At first it was just my seat looked dirtier than what it looked like when I came in! and they missed a huge spot of a drink I spilled that I specifically asked to be made sure it got cleaned. I get home and check out my car, not only did they do a crap job just all around, there was a scuff that wasn't there before on the bottom door panel and they completely scratched interior of my car. I had the day off and my car needed a wash. Got the medium package for both inside and outside. Really the only difference between medium and high was the wax and I didn't want a wax. Waited for my car to be done and walked around ((mind you this was a Wednesday so it wasn't exactly a LOT of cars)) and it took almost 1.5 hours to finish. This is the WORST place to get your car washed. I've been here twice and waited my money both times. The first time, my car had water spots on it, but I was able to clean it off before I left. The second time is the worst. They quoted me $200 for a full detail over the phone and charged us $60 more. Then they told us it would take 2 hours to detail the car.... 4 hours later the car still wasn't done. We waited an extra HOUR in their waiting room after multiple conversations with a manager. That's a total of 5 hours waiting. On top of the terrible service, it was completely unprofessional to have the receptionist's daughter in the waiting room the whole time. Every time we walked in, the 4 year old daughter was screaming. That's completely unacceptable for a workplace and made it even more frustrating to wait... Will NEVER go back. My husband and I have been coming to this car wash for years. Mainly because it's in the Towne Center and we're usually there doing other shopping of sorts so while we get that done it's very convenient to leave the car behind while it gets washed. The staff for the most part is nice, there is the occasional jerk, who I have no second thoughts about reporting to the manager and if I don't get much there then I go straight to the top, but that's only happened once or twice. As for the washing service they tend to have specials on a weekly basis. We've come to know some of the guys there and have "negotiated" the services we wanted for a reasonable price that isn't exactly on the menu of services. The wash it's self is not a spectacular class A or 5 star rating...you get my drift. They do a good enough job. I do recommend doing a walk through and interior inspection before leaving; that way if they missed anything they can get those last few spots or crumbs. Really, there isn't much to brag about. It's an ordinary car wash. It works for us. read more

I've come here a few times and for the most part, they do a decent job. But when they screw up, they really screw up. Based on other reviews, I'm clearly not the only one that feels this way. I took my car 9 days ago for a wash. Later that day, I noticed scratches on my console monitor. They were in a back and forth motion and thin lines. I know it wasn't there before so I went back. The supervisor that met with me was nice enough at first. He came out, got a coworker and for some reason they tried to wax the scratches off. Seeing as that didn't work another coworker was brought out. He checked it out from the passenger's side concluding it's inside the screen. Nope. Wrong. They're scratches and the monitor can't be scratched from the inside where it's inaccessible. Since there's apparently nothing that can be done, I'm asked to write up an incident report to send to corporate. I do that and I'm now dealing with the ladies at the counter as the supervisor has gone back to doing what he's doing without so much as an attempt at concluding our conversation. I ask the ladies, who ask him, how long until I receive a response. I'm told 2-3 days. It's now 6 business days and 9 working days since the incident with no call. So buyer beware: you can go somewhere else and consistently get a decent job with no permanent damage to your car or you can go here. P.S. This is not s California BBB accredited business, although it seems you can still file a complaint. read more

On 4/24/14, my husband brought our Lexus to Towne Center Car Wash. He asked the attendant, Eddie, if he should shut off the car or leave it running. Eddie said to leave it running and my husband handed him the key fob. Eddie put the key fob on the rear tire then got into the car and started to drive away. My husband yelled at him, but it was too late. Eddie drove over the key fob and cracked the case. My husband filled out an Incident Report and Eddie told him to leave the key and he would have the case replaced. How the hell was my husband supposed to drive home? Then Eddie said he would order the case from Tustin Lexus and call when it arrived. After a week went by with no phone call, my husband returned to Towne Center Car Wash and asked for Eddie. He wasn't there, but spoke with the acting assistant manager. He said that Eddie had ordered the part and would call him in an hour. No phone call was received. My husband asked for the name of the owner and after refusing to provide any information, the acting assistant manager told him the last name is "Tate." Our only option is to buy the case ourselves and take Towne Center Car Wash to small claims court. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. They RAN OVER our key and refused to take any responsibility. I've read all the reviews on Yelp and there's a pattern of poor quality and bait and switch tactics by the employees. The management must either condone or promote this practice. read more

I said no, just a basic wash and then he says "the $20 one right?" I then had to ask what was included and then agreed to it. He then walks around the truck and says, "You have water spots and it is destroying your paint, we can take care of it for $100". I said, "The wash should take care of it." His response, "No, the wash won't remove water spots. It is damage to your clear coat." I then told him, "If the water spots won't be washed off, I do not want a wash and I will take care of it myself." "Oh, well if it hasn't been too long, the wash will take them out. Get the wash and find out." As I began to walk inside, he says, "we have a special. I can do your water spots and detail for $150" Of course I said, "no, just the wash." He then asks about doing the interior and I said no. He of course says "I saw the inside, it needs some work." I wanted to punch him. My truck is only a few months old and I keep the Interior pretty clean. The truck is washed and I go to pay for it. They then charge me $22. I said it was suppose to be $20 but they said there is a surcharge for it being a truck. I explained that all I had was $22 so if they took it, their guys would not get tipped. Of course, she said, "well, we have to charge the $22." I felt bad for the guys outside that the inside people lie about prices and up charge everything to where they lose their tip. Finally, when I get to the truck, magically, no water spots.... Hmmmmm, $22 car wash did the impossible that I HAD to pay $100 to do otherwise. I don't mind being upsold. It is the facts of life. I've had pretty good experiences with this car wash from when they first opened. However, this place is under new management ever since mid-2011. The staff has new polo shirts for uniforms, and they kind of re-did the outside area so that it looks more like a car wash place. Prices have gone up -- $11 for a Basic Wash, which is the lowest level of a wash. Not only that...the "frequent car wash membership" only applies to anything ABOVE the Basic Wash, which means the next level of $14 for the Deluxe Wash. Lame. They also have this new process of returning people's car keys. I guess they have the intentions of making it more "secure" than before. Previously, you just kept an eye out for your car, and the guy would wave his towel to inform you that he's done wiping down your car. You hand him your receipt and then he hands you his car keys. Presently, you're supposed to hand the receipt back to the cashier as well as your tip money to redeem your keys. I suppose it's a bit more "secure". But when the cashier holds up a set of keys and asks me, "Are these your keys?" (?!?!!?!), it makes me think it's not so "secure" after all. I'll only come back to this place when I'm in the LB area nowadays. I'm open to better car washes in the OC area if anyone has any!! read more

Honestly, my plan for a car wash DID NOT include this place. But the 605 south exit is so crazy, I was literally forced into the lane that went into the Long Beach Town Center. I had planned to get to a car wash, and did not really expect to pay $40 (and that was the "special"!) for it. But I got sold on the wax & mechanical buff deal . The car really needed a little more TLC than I realized. At the end, I noticed the interiors were NOT as clean/spotless as I expected - the guys did take care of the windows, dashboard cleaning AFTER I pointed it out to them. BUT the rear window still had that haze on it, as I drove away. I saw them using the buffer on the car BUT there were a few minor scratches that they did no manage to buff out. So I'm a little unhappy overall but then again, I sort of expected a semi-detail job, for $40 + tip, I don't know if that's being unreasonable. read more

(Lies) Today, I went to redeem the raincheck. The other ticket writer told me that it was an exterior wash only, no tires, windows or vacuum. I was pissed, this guy called over the other guy who was the original ticket writer from 2 days prior who told me he said none of those things and would only honor the exterior wash. In addition he told me I was lying about him saying those things. This place and the 2 ticket writers are liars and a joke. In fact, the whole operation is a joke, the building is falling apart and the equipment used for the carwash is old and hardly works. Completely disappointed- we decided on the $119 package that included a clay wax and wash ( which I assumed would include the inside of the car). The wax on the car made it shiny- it looked nice but still had dried pieces of dirt by the headlights. I asked the guy to wipe it off, which he didn't really do; he just wiped the hood and surrounding surface I gave up and got in the car; as we drove away, I could see crumbs, dirt, and leftover gummy worms between the seat and middle console! Went here today (6-18-17) to get my car washed and had a really good experience. Employees were on it and did a very good job cleaning my car. I got the package with hand wax included and I see the employees take pride in their work. I have been to several other car washes and not one of them sprayed any conditioner on the black plastics outside of the car to make them shine, this place did and it made a huge difference. I definitely recommend this car wash! Keep up the good work guys because I will definitely return. read more

Couldn't believe how great my car looked after these guys washed it. They spent a long time on it - I went to Barnes and Noble, got tea, walked around, and still had time to let my kids play in the play area that the car wash provides. But, when they were done, my car looked great and it was worth it. I used the YELP provided coupon and it was more than worth it. The sitting / waiting area is clean but isn't anything to write home about, but the play area kept my kids happy and the girl running the counter even came over and asked if she could put cartoons on for them (they have a separate TV for the kids).
