I have been a member (subscription) for two years. Great car wash. Staff is very friendly. If there is a line, it moves quickly. Quite a gew spots to vacuum and clean your car. I haven't had to wait for a spot. Big plus, I have had no damage to my car; losing parts. I used to go to a different one in Long Beach and after 1 year, lost 4 parts and over $1000 to replace (installing ourselves)! The last item was $500 and the parts department manager couldn't figure out how it would have come off. Water pressure was just too much for my car! In addition, the cars were put thru with minimal spacing and always paranoid the car behind would hit mine. With Clean Wave, they space the cars and never have that worry! The customer service is great here. I opted for the triple shine wash which is the $20 instead of the basic for $12. Unfortunately it didn't dry the back of my car and left water marks. Never had that issue before. It came out very shiny but now I am gonna have to deal with manually redoing the back of it.. This car wash is located on a busy intersection at the intersection of Katella and Los Alamitos Blvd in the City of Los Alamitos. This is not my usual car wash. I happen to be in the area and thought I'd give it a try. The access is easy and entrance well marked. As you get to the pay station, there is a really friendly attendent there to help you. I was also given 2 wipes and an air freshener, which was really nice. As you drive into the bay, you drive in between two speed bump like markers that help guide your vehicle into the bay for proper positioning. I opted for the least expensive single wash called "Basic". It was $12. They have different types of washes with single washes or monthly subscriptions ranging from $25 to $44 per month. The basic wash itself was not as good as my usual car wash and was $3 more expensive for the single wash. What i did like in their vacuum bay is that the vacuums are really powerful and what i did not like is that there are no canopies over the vacuum bays to keep tou shaded and they have no air guns to help you dry the excess water like at some of the other car washes. I noticed people using their own towels. Overall. The experience was average and i felt it was not very good value. read more

There's no returns once you get in line. Let's suppose there's a long line and you decided not to make it, well too bad!! You're there already that happened to me and I had to get to work, you can really see if there's a line cause it's not on the side of the road, also it doesn't really do a good job in the back of the car but HEY! It's a express wash not a detail one, they give free dash wipes and deodorant for your car. I have been coming to Clean Wave for car washes since spring of 2021, as it is very close to work. They were offering a promotion of $20 for the first month then $10 off the rest of 2021 for unlimited premium washes, so I signed up for that, especially as at the time I was making long drives several times a month and my car would get pretty dusty and dirty. The first few times there were some issues with the cameras reading my registered license plate for the unlimited program, but it has been smooth sailing since. They offer you a dash wipe and an air freshener with each wash, but I usually just take the dash wipe as the air freshener is too strongly scented for me. The wash isn't perfect, but it's a machine wash after all. It's fun going through and seeing all the colors. My car usually isn't completely dry at the end, but I'm not very picky about that. I also appreciate that they always tape down my back window wiper with painter's tape (I drive an SUV). Post-wash, there are several parking spots for a quick interior vacuum, and I appreciate that there are two sets between every spot (so you can grab a tube for each side of your car). I have been through this wash more than 15 times at this point, and have never had any major problems. I am not sure I will continue with the unlimited wash program at full price come 2022, and I agree that it's a bit pricey a-la-carte, but it's conveniently located for me and does the job. read more

After noticing scratches on my car from using another neighborhood car wash, I decided to try out this newer self-service drive through. Service was efficient and thorough. Car exterior looked fantastically clean, and shiny; well worth the $20 price tag. The vacuums were super powerful. It's only when I tried to re-hook the driver side mat that I noticed one of the holding clips got suctioned away! I gave my name to the staff (they're friendly and helpful) who said she'd alert the night cleaning crew to contact me in case it shows up - literally a needle in a hay stack. Do not sign up for a membership !!! Last month I sent a email asking for a cancellation. Not good enough for them. I got billed $49.99 again today. When I call they cannot look up your account on line to help you. I have tried to log on to their system but apparently it only knows how to take money out of my account. Next to Rossmoor Village Square on the corner for easy access. The place has cones set up once you pull up to the lot. The menu is a hit hard to see with a glare depending on the time. I was handed a printed version and the staff member explained each tier and the prices for single wash and a packaged deal. Follow the cone and you'll be treated by two other staff members who will direct your car to fit in the lane. Shift to neutral and relax a bit in the rainbow rain. Follow the sign when the light turns green switch back to drive and go around the corner to vacuum the interior. Ok so here's the most important part I wanted to place in the review. This place has by far the most powerful suction for the vacuum so it's a plus for anyone that need some heavy duty clean up job for your carpet or you know, all the crevices where all your breakfast, lunch and dinner might've fallen during your commutes. Not to mention all the mess your little or furry ones have contributed. The place is very clean, friendly staff. Other review mentioned their car was left with water spots or it didn't get all the dirt off- Think of it this way- it's a drive thru car wash, not a detailing spot. All good. Tried this place for the first time this past Sunday morning. Was nice to see they were open at 7:30am. When I pulled in the young lady was very polite and respectful in helping me get my car wash paid for. That was the good... unfortunately the options are quite pricey. The lowest car wash price is $10 which is very high compared to the car washes in the surrounding area. The next option is $17 and the next one is $20. Very expensive if you ask me. After going through the car wash I get home and look at my truck and notice the windshield is not clean and the front still has multiple spots still on the truck. Cancelled today after the 3rd time I came out of the car wash with a bent front license plate. Have complained each time and they told me to ask when I pull up to retract the front roller. That didn't work so the next time they told me to ask them to retract the side rollers. Still didn't work. Finally gave up on them and cancelled my membership. I have a friend who drives the same type of car and has had the same problem. Beside, the cars come out super wet as if the dryers do not work. Have to wipe down the entire car. My car came out with spots all over it and the tires were not cleaned at all. A manager allowed me to go through the cycle again. However my tires were still not clean. Unfortunately I came in on a lunch break and wasn't able to address this issue so now I have to deal with it myself. Just after leaving shop for oil change, ect. Where they have records & photos of check bumpers and grill check to make sure they are not loose. 15 mins drive through this wash and it ripped my front grill clean off. Tried to blame the "air pressure" knocking it off and how it's common on my model Ford. So why would they not warm me? Or adjust systems so this won't happen again? AAA driver told me it's the 7th time this year he's picked up different model cars with similar style damages caused by the wash machines. Rather than offering to pay they said we will give u half costs of repair, no refund on the wash.... So have to go through insurance to get them to fully pay for repairs. general workers were great and concerned, however GM on shift 8/19/2021 wanted to go ahead and just blame me instead. No professionalism at all, go to Mobile down the street they take responsibility for any damages.... Not this run around blame the victim game they play. UPDATE- they never fix or help pay for the damage even though the video clearly shows their machine knocking off my front trim. 0/10 do not recommend. Also if ur the manager hopping on here fighting with customers, you look like a fool. *UPDATE* I wish I wouldn't have given this place another try, but I did. I was in a pinch and needed a car wash. Well, I am seriously never going there again. My car wasn't fully washed. What a waste of money. Attached is a picture of the back window - completely dirty, no water:brush/sponge etc touched it. The track system they use is like a giant conveyer belt that your car sits on and it gently pulls the car through by all four tires. Think of it like when you go to the supermarket and you put your bananas on the belt at checkout. But like instead your car is the bananas. I've been here about five times now and every time the staff have been courteous and friendly. Last time, I was vacuuming after the wash and a customer service manager walked by and noticed a stain on my bumper, told me the wash should have gotten it out, and offered to let me go through again for free. I took him up on it and he set me through with an upgraded wash with all of the bells and whistles. I also appreciated that the customer service manager was walking by because he was emptying out the trash bins that people put stuff in as they're cleaning out their cars - the team is really hands on and careful to maintain a clean and nice space. read more

Disclaimer: I'm a shit human being sometimes and my brain doesn't work like most. see, I have ADHD which happened to get worse after I spawned life. These do it yourself drive thru car washes make my life harder because I always seem to forget to roll up my window completely or shut my door entirely. Sooo ya. That being said: I honestly need to cancel my monthly subscription to this place. I signed up back in like...February (i think?) after my boys asked me to take them through the "rainbow" car wash. This place boasts a rave-like lightshow from the street so the kids think it's cool. However I remained unimpressed: Soap is soap and this soap ain't shit. Can almost see through my windshield after the final rinse, but you drive thru the dryer thing with this huge, spinning mop like structure moving over your car to soak up all the excess water. Makes sense in theory but in reality that mop thing is low key wet so it just smears all those excess water droplets across your windows. I've had 2 washes since I signed up and it's like $37 a month or something. The cool thing is that it scans your license plate so you don't have to roll down your window right before you drive in. But ya it's not worth the $37 price tag IMO. I'm lazy and for that price someone can do it for me. Ok I'm canceling this month. This car wash scratched my brand new car up the top of it on the passenger side and along the drivers side across the rear passenger driver's side door. My car is less than a month old and is parked in an empty garage at home. Because it's brand new, I am over the top about keeping it clean and wiped down. These scratches are 100% from this car wash and this is a common problem as seen from other Yelp reviews. When I went back, they denied all responsibility and said that the scratches would have been "more even" across the car if it was done by their equipment but then about 35 seconds later said their equipment can't scratch a car. They kept asking if I wanted to walk through the car wash to "prove" their equipment didn't scratch it or would "scratch it more evenly". When I brought up the Yelp reviews complaining of similar problems, he said the customers are always offered to come back in but never do. Yeah, I see why! No help, no responsibility. Got a refund, cancelled my membership, won't be back. Side note, the car wash itself is below average. Your car comes out wet and needs to be wiped down or you will get some gnarly water spots. read more

Drove thru CleanWave car wash in Los Alamitos & came out with black brush strokes on the hood of my Soul Red Metallic Mazda. The employee went thru her routine question did I wanna run it thru again...No! Do I wanna walk thru there car wash operation...No! She then took pics & I filled out an incident report. 2 days later the manager called with no phone etiquette asking how did I know it needed to be detailed. I said I don't, but it's not coming off with cloth & that I am in the process of having my detailer give me an estimate. So we set an appointment time. I went to my detailer he had some special sauce which removed the black junk from the car wash. I then called to cancel & had to leave a message? Alex was not in.
