Because it was close to closing time, the salesperson rushed me through the paperwork so quickly that I barely had a chance to read anything -- which I now regret trusting. Minutes after leaving, the dealership called to say they had put the wrong vehicle on the paperwork -- their error -- and that I now owed $4,000 more. Instead of honoring the signed agreement or offering a meaningful solution, they offered just $600 off the new price. That's not professionalism or accountability. That's a dealership trying to fix its own mistake at the buyer's expense. If you shop here, take your time and double-check every line, because the pressure to rush through closing time cost me a deal I was ready to complete. The worst part, I actually would have purchased at the higher price had they showed me that to begin with. But the sales person partially blamed me when I told him I expected them to honor the price by saying "Stacy with all the research you did you had to know the price of the vehicle. It was an honest mistake but we showed you the numbers for 2020 and you signed for the 2020." I was absolutely appalled at this considering I really couldn't remember the price because I had driven so many different vehicles all within $5k price point and even though I asked for the copies of the paperwork, he rushed me out the door before providing them...I didn't think it was a big deal because they needed to do work to the vehicle before we paid in full. I couldn't even verify I signed paperwork he said I did during the phone call. And in the end, when sharing pictures of the papers via text, I was still missing a copy of the one and only paper I looked at super closely with the price and vehicle on it. Somehow this one conveniently "disappeared" and he proceeded to tell me I never signed a copy of that one. But it was the first document I signed and really the only one he let me read. Good riddance. What a blessing! And a lesson for me.

In October 2021, I was in the market to buy a new vehicle, but the specific one I wanted, Toyota RAV4 Prime, is not sold in the state I live in. Due to supply chain issues and production, RAV4 Primes are extremely hard to find. Most dealers that I called are only selling them to local in-state residents or adding huge markups (~ 5 to 10K or more!). The few Toyota dealerships that do sell to out of state residents AND at MSRP generally have really long waitlist (6 months or more). I chatted with Patrick at West Herr in late October and he said that they could sell me a Prime at MSRP but the wait could be 4 - 6 months if I was set on a specific color, but it could be sooner if I was flexible on color. He was friendly, professional, and 100% transparent and honest from the 1st time I chatted with him. On November 11, about 3 weeks after I left my initial deposit, I received a call from Patrick asking if I was open to the silver/black color and that the vehicle was set to arrive in early December. My wife and I decided that the silver/black color was fine. Patrick was also helpful in adding / removing options/accessories that I did not want. The best part of the whole experience was that there were no surprise dealer add-ons, packages, markups, etc. This was my first time buying a vehicle out-of-state and having it shipped and Patrick and West Herr Toyota Orchard Park made me feel comfortable throughout the entire buying experience. He was very communicative and gave me updates on ETA, took photos of the vehicle when it came in. The paperwork to sign and buy the car was still done on paper and sent via FedEx. The only way I think it could be faster is if that was moved to digital/DocuSign. Nonetheless, the whole process was relatively quick and easy. Patrick even came in on his dayoff, December 24th, when the dealership was closed, so that he could meet the truck driver and load up my RAV4 Prime. The vehicle was delivered on 12/30 and my wife and I are extremely satisfied with the vehicle and the service we received from Patrick and the staff at West Herr Toyota Orchard Park.

She was amazing... she is very knowledgeable in what she does and this place is lucky to have her. While talking numbers with the salesperson, the kid driving my car says its unsafe and I shouldn't drive it home. Then the service manager reiterates the same thing. I'm thinking this a very bizarre sales tactic. The van I test drove was being sent to Rochester for a pending sale so I had to decide right then and there if I wanted to purchase - I declined. When I got my keys back to drive my car home, the brake line was completely ruptured and fluid was leaking everywhere. They wouldn't show me camera footage proving the brake line broke prior to them taking my vehicle. And I was left stranded without a ride with not a soul in sight willing to help. They had my car for four days before it was repaired with a $1,000 price tag. I was told they'd refund my fee if I purchased a vehicle. But without inventory I'm not sure how they expected that to be a resolution. I wouldn't buy a keychain from West Herr.
