Probably one of the worst Marriotts hotels I've ever stayed at! While the property is nice and clean the rooms themselves are very small, small enough to almost get claustrophobic. I unfortunately come to Las Vegas mainly for work and made a big mistake booking this place based on the previous positive stays all around the US. The couch in the bedroom was also very uncomfortable and I regretted staying here shortly after I checked in. Another major turnoff was that they clean the room every 3rd day which means you have to make your own bed! Needless to say that I won't be back! 2.5 stars for friendly service and decent breakfast. read more

This place is beautiful in wildcat. The staff were so kind and accommodating since I booked the hotel the day of due to my AC breaking down. I love the rooms. The king suite was really nice and open and our toddler enjoyed his time at the pool that's open until 10 PM. The breakfast they serve is a classic Marriott buffet Continental style, but I gotta say the full size pastries really make a difference and we had a wonderful time. Don't waste your time going to resorts. It's better if you stay here, avoid resort fees and get another view of Vegas. read more

My bf and I stayed here couple weekends ago for the Coldplay concert and it was the best decision we made! It was our first time staying at this hotel so I wasn't sure how the parking situation or the logistic to the Allegiant Stadium would be. The sole reason I picked this hotel was because of the location for the concert and because I like to stick with Marriott Bonvoy. We checked in about an hour before 3pm and this nicest and friendliest with the most impressive beard helped us and already I had a feeling our stay would be just as great as this encounter. I'm sorry I forgot his name now, but he was super helpful and knowledgeable in giving us the ins and outs of how to maneuver by foot if that was our choice to get to the concert. And, walking was basically the best option. The hotel room itself was also very spacious and very clean! It is one of the newer hotels in the area so everything was very clean and efficiently designed. Their gym was spacious and had just enough equipments for short stay, and, it has windows!! They also have coffee and fresh water throughout the day and the parking structure is shared with I believe Home2suites so it could be full very fast. The hotel is situated in a very interesting area, that is still under road construction so I think once everything is done it would be a lot better. We only stayed one night but it was a very pleasant short and sweet stay. The front desk staff were super pleasant and so nice and though we didn't stay the next morning for the breakfast but we grabbed a few items to go and they seemed to have a very decent breakfast spread. Would highly recommend you book this if you have any events at the Allegiant or other stadiums nearby. read more

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, lobby was always full with large families just hanging out. It seems like the hotel prides themselves on the "full" and free breakfast they offer..unfortunately the employees working the breakfast do NOT take any pride themselves. They pick up the small amount of food that's left starting 30 minutes before the end time and they stop refilling the food and drinks as well. It was really something to experience several guests including us frustrated by this. First of all it's Vegas ok, people aren't waking up at the crack of dawn. I get it if you run out of food but to blatantly turn off the juice machine, put away milk and creamer for coffee and not even restock the water, a dang bagel, waffle, or anything starting at 9:30am!?! And I know they are doing this on purpose because a male employee went up the female breakfast employee at 10:00am to ask if any waffles were left and she literally said not out here but I'll bring you one from the back! Yet your actual guests that are paying guests can't get a waffle at 9:35am!?! It's really ridiculous and left a bad taste. You need to do better Marriott that is below your standards. read more

The breakfast was your typical hotel choices.The room I booked was a comfy King size bed with a sofa bed. The little kitchen in the room is perfect for a long stay and to cook your own meals. Love this hotel. This is our go to hotel everytime we come into town to attend Las Vegas Aces game. We can walk to TMobile or the arena at Mandalay Bay, saving us money on parking. And there are several fast food places nearby so we aren't stocked spending a fortune on the strip. It's clean and well maintained, staff is always friendly and helpful, and you cant beat their free breakfast which literally has everything you could want. We will continue to stay here when we come into town. read more

Looked into staying for 3 nights in LV and while I love staying in a casino, the resort fees, parking, etc gets to be a drag on the wallet. We also travel with our 2 dogs so places that accept pets will use it as a way to help the profit margin, like one large company on the strip will charge $50 per dog per night, but they don't clean my room every day. This place charges a pet fee and per day parking fee, but no resort fee. Enough of that. This place is located just off Tropicana Blvd, which is the busiest east/west street in Las Vegas. There is major construction on Tropicana so the be prepared to navigate this maze. When you turn south onto Dean Martin Dr from Tropicana, there is no way to turn left into the driveway as there is....construction! So you have to go further south then hook a u-turn to come back to the driveway. The property itself was clean and the front desk staff was always friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was clean and spacious with a decent size kitchen if you want to cook meals. The TV is mounted to the wall with a bracket that you can swivel around to view from most angles. The breakfast had a lot to chose from like eggs, sausages, waffles, muffins, bagels, fruit, cereal, etc. Overall, this place would have gotten 5 stars from me if it wasn't for....construction!!! Now I know why the locals joke that the official state tree of Las Vegas is the orange traffic cone. read more

Run, don't walk, run to a different hotel... Hate to write this review but our experience could not have been worse at this Marriott hotel. My husband spends about 75 + nights a year on the road and our two kids and myself often travel with him. We have been Hilton diamond members since forever and have loved it but decided to try Marriott to see the difference...well we discovered our loyalty to Hilton to be head and shoulders above Marriott in just about every way. We arrived at TownePlace Suites by Marriott at about 3pm on Sunday afternoon fully expecting our two bedroom king suite (That we booked a month prior) to be ready for our family of four (two kids under 2). It's absolutely essential for us to have two bedrooms and room for our kids to roam, especially since I'll be in the room alone while my husband is at conferences during the day. When we arrived we unloaded all our stuff and were checked in only to find that we had been mistakenly bumped to a studio king that would never ever accommodate our family. We didn't think it would be an issue since we have been used to staying with Hilton and always having things made right, but boy were we wrong. The two men manning the front desk seemed mightily confused and not prepared to handle the situation. They said that our room had been taken by someone else (even though we had booked and paid for it prior to arrival), and that they didn't have anything available. Then 10 minutes later they retracted their offer and said they could get us a 1 bedroom studio queen room...totally unacceptable for our family. We decided to go to our old faithful and went to Hilton on the strip and asked the manager to call us to see if they could make things right. 3 days later (after me calling each day to get some answers) the manager finally called and only offered a meager amount of Marriott points (not even enough for 1/2 a room) to make up for our experience. Along with the horrible communication, service, and room availability the entire property reeks of weed. Now Vegas does have that reputation these days but the rooms here have an awful stench that cannot be forgotten; maybe it's for the best that my children didn't stay here. Unless Marriott changes our mind in a dramatic way our experiences with them have been extremely disappointing and solidify that we should keep our business with Hilton. read more

We were assigned to room 122, which ended up being a perfect for our trip. Ky made sure that we remained in the same room through our stay and has even reached out to the general manager to make sure everything was in order. Shoutout to the General Manager Patricia as well for showing exemplary kindness and attentiveness. Her awareness of guest's needs was impressive and very accommodating. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Perfect location for a clean, no-frills hotel that is almost on the Vegas Strip...especially for Marriott fans like me. It is located just one large block away from Las Vegas Blvd near the New York-New York and MGM casinos. You can easily walk the strip directly from the hotel. In addition, it is really close to the airport for those flying out. CLEAN Room was super clean. No "hotel funk" smells as can be found in some non-Marriott hotels. There was an outdoor pool which will make the kiddos happy and even the adults that need to cool off after a long walk on the Vegas strip. FREE POPCORN was provided to us at the front desk (since we were Marriott Bonvoy members). This is a recommended play to stay when visiting Vegas. read more

We stayed here for one night during my very short Vegas Vacation ( October 2019) & we had a very great stay. My husband booked our hotel at Bally's and with the resort fee, parking fee, & everything else I mentioned that I will search for our hotel. Marriott TownePlace actually came out cheaper during my search. The not so great part is there is no casino, but I am not complaining (the other half is) as we need to catch up on sleep before our road trip back to Cali. This is a fairly new Marriott Towne Place Suites, opened back in February 2019, per front desk employee. I love the location, with a car or with out a car, the hotel is located within walking distance to the Las Vegas Raiders Staduim ( super excited as we passed by it on our way here) The Vegas strip, T-Mobile Arena, MGM Park Theater, & The shops at Crystals. Across of this hotel, on the same property is Hilton Hotel. I love the succulent plant arrangements around the hotel and while here, I enjoyed sitting in the lanai area with the fire pit, drinking my milk tea. We had top notch customer service at check- in & check out, the staff are super friendly! Our room is super spacious and I could just tell that its a super new hotel, I love it! The suite comes with a full kitchen and mobile work station, but who wants to do work when on vacation, just saying...! Included is free high speed WIFI, free hot breakfast & free parking. Wow!! I am glad I booked our night here. After having a great night's rest, we headed down for breakfast and one of the staff who was in charge of the breakfast was so nice. She made sure all breakfast items were fully stocked. The breakfast, not huge breakfast choices but it had the basic & we are not complaining. I enjoyed our breakfast and its off to enjoy the rest of Vegas before our road trip. I can imagine this hotel, filling up once the Raiders move over to Vegas. I can't wait to be back here again for a Raiders game or our next trip to Vegas. Totally recommend, when in Vegas! read more

This was my first time ever staying at a TownePlace Suites. I had heard great things about it. Especially for extended stays. My family and I were staying in Las Vegas for a week and we were looking for a Marriott affiliated hotel that had a kitchen, work area, and living room separate from the bedroom. We checked in on a Monday, late afternoon in the middle of a windstorm. I jumped out of the car to try to check us in quickly and nobody was there for a few minutes to let me in. You have to scan your key card in order to get in. While I appreciated the security aspect of that, I did not appreciate having to wait outside. Finally, someone came to let me in and the check in process was easy from there. There were luggage carts that we could take advantage of as we did have quite a few things. We were staying on the second floor, and we had a nice kitchen area, a living room area, a TV and queen bed in our bedroom, and a bathroom. Everything was separate in our one bedroom suite. The service was fantastic while we were there. Someone came to clean our room every day, but we really just got clean towels and had them take out the trash. There is hot breakfast served complimentary each morning for a few hours and coffee is left out for even longer. That was a lifesaver. They also have a market place that you can purchase snacks and microwavable meals. They have an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and a covered parking garage. It is right next to the freeway ramp, which was super helpful as I was there on a work trip and needing to jump on the freeway every day. Overall, I would stay here again for the convenience and ease of everything. While it isn't anything fancy or resort style, it definitely suits the need of someone on a work trip especially for an extended stay. read more

This is a great hotel; not just because it's a Marriott and all the amenities that go along with it.. it's the people in it that make it wonderful. I don't know if the front desk person that checked me in was Alice or if it was someone else but they were very nice!! I did happen to request a late check out and did that through the text feature on my Marriott app; I spoke to Alice and she made it super easy and accommodating. Rooms were so clean with a well stocked kitchenette and huge shower. A convient place for longer stays, the hotel even offers guests to borrow kitchen necessities like a rice cooker. Our view from the 5th floor was of In and Out. The large blinking yellow sign was bright at night so we were grateful for the black out curtains when ready for bed. Traffic noise was significant all hours of day, but the hotel does offer ear plugs for guests on request. We took the convenient shuttle bus to the Aria and boarded the free tram to see the Bellagio. Shuttle rides to the airport can also be scheduled. Breakfast was included in the price of our stay. A welcome meal of continental pastry, hot biscuits, bacon, eggs and gravy. A covered parking garage for our vehicle and no resort fees... such a great stay for our time in Vegas! read more

As a Marriott Ambassador Elite member, I will not stay at this location again. The area is sketchy, and I didn't feel safe. An armed security guard hangs out in the lobby, which says a lot. Two other things perturbed me. 1) If you're not in love with the face mask police, then beware - I was nicely asked to wear my mask when walking from my breakfast table to refill my coffee. 2) I left a shirt hanging in the closet (my bad), but of course it was gone, lost or stolen the next day when I called. No help or explanation from the staff who didn't return my calls. I've advised my team to spend a few more bucks and stay on the strip or in a safer location. read more

Wow! Simply WOW!!! This hotel is 5 stars and then some! From check in to departure ! Service was exceptionally outstanding!!! You won't be disappointed should you decide to stay here. The room (suite) was spotless, comfortable, nicely decorated, and the bed was oh so comfy after a long red eye ! Lovely and functional bathroom with a huge closet !!! If you would like me and enjoy a hot shower the water was exceptionally hot which was perfect for me! The kitchen they did not miss not one amenity a microwave dishwasher fridge raider freezer ice trays dish towels coffee coffee pot and it's put together so nicely! Another thing is the outlets there are outlets everywhere and very functional meaning in the right places which is a huge plus when you have a lot of electronic devices! If you enjoy a nice buffet breakfast they didn't fail here either ~ perfection! The gym~ amazing as well and everything you need. The pool ~ again clean, gorgeous and truly enjoyable! Outside is by far the nicest I have seen! A enjoyably lovely sitting fire pit area - a BBQ area as well! Location is off the strip but close enough to go to casinos and shows if you wish! Staff!!! Poor service. Requested a less noisy room because of road noise two nights in a row and I was completely ignored! Rooms are all full! I had called the staff and they told me that they would call me during the day when a room would become available. There was not a call both days in a row. My wife was in the hotel the entire day. I stopped by the front desk after the convention, and asked if they had an additional room ready, and the gal seemed entirely clueless. Then she said that she had another room and took me to a room which is on the same side of the building, next to the road! She went on to explain how no one else has ever complained about the noise, which is not true based on the other reviews of this hotel. Extremely noisy cars with loud exhaust pipes all night. Be sure to be on the opposite side of the building! This place is next to the freeway. read more

This is a very new hotel so I'm sure they are still working out the kinks, but I can't see myself trying them again to see if it's improved unless I see some really glowing reviews. The Good: great location for a chain hotel, really convenient to the strip. I'm Titanium Elite/Ambassador status with Marriott and always try to stay at their properties using points when I'm on vacation, but in Vegas most Marriott properties are either way off the strip or take too many points. So this location is a big point in its favor. Also, the staff were very nice. The Bad: we stayed 5 nights and of those 5 nights, there were 4 where we had to go down and ask to have someone fix the air conditioning. The very first night, on checking in, it was 81 degrees in our room. The person sent up said most people don't complain, which indicates to me that the A/C is an issue they're aware of and also was a bit insulting since it suggested we were whiners for wanted to sleep in a comfortable temperature. The one night that the A/C worked without having to be fixed first, our room didn't get cleaned. No reason, they just didn't do it. I really only ask two things from a hotel room: be clean and be a comfortable temperature. They failed 5/5 nights on those two basic things. Also, there was no safe in the room. Of all the locations where I'm likely to have a lot of cash that I'd want in a safe instead of stored in my bag or on my body, Vegas is the one. Seems like a very weird place to try to save money. Finally, and this may just be because we were in an accessible room, there was no storage space in the bathroom. Tiny sink counter and that was it for places to store bathroom essentials. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to speak directly with a manager, but complaining to the front desk yielded nothing more than apologies, and I never received an email asking how our stay was, which is typically standard protocol for a Marriott property. Perhaps they knew my response wouldn't be great and that's why they didn't ask. Honestly, I would have expected an offer of *at least* one night being refunded. Again, it's very new so maybe they will get their maintenance issues figured out. I hope so, but this stay was definitely a disappointment. read more

One of the cleanest Marriott properties I have stayed at and I travel a lot. This may sound funny but it smells so fresh -- in the hallways, in the room, even in the elevator. You can tell this property is new. On top of that, the customer service was fantastic. They even left me a little note with a bottle of water (standard) and a Hershey's chocolate bar. The rooms have internet TV in addition to standard cable, so you can link up to your Netflix account easily. Parking was easy - there are a handful of spots in front outside, the rest are in the indoor garage within steps of the main entrance. You have to check in first to get your parking pass. Would stay here in a heartbeat next time I'm in Vegas. read more

Excellent value for the money and great pet policies. We were traveling with our small dog who is well-behaved and quiet, but many pet-friendly hotels do not allow dogs to be left unattended in the room (or require them to be crated if unattended). At Towneplace Suites we were allowed to leave him free to roam the room when we left for a few hours at a time to go to casinos or have a meal in places that were less than dog-friendly (as long as you put up the Do Not Disturb sign). There's a $125/stay pet fee which was a little steep for our 3 day stay, but worth it to allow him free rein of the room so he could lie on the couch or bed. The kitchenette is large and well stocked, and the room was clean and looked pretty new. All appliances worked perfectly. Other perks include free parking and breakfast (including waffles on Wednesdays and hot items every day, a rarity during the pandemic). Excellent value for the money. Location is pretty good, right across the street from both In-n-out and a 24 hour McDonald's. NYNY and Excalibur are walking distances but other casinos would be a bit of a hike. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, although it would be really nice if the hotel provided a shuttle to the strip so we wouldn't have needed to drive. read more

The visit started weird as we didn't have electricity in the bathroom at all and wouldn't get electricity until the following day, they did do us a solid and credited our stay a fair amount for the inconvenience so that was awesome. Being Marriott members we've been to a lot of different Marriotts this one was completely updated all the way around the rooms were super clean and very modern with full kitchenettes with everything you would need to maKe an extended stay comfortable from stove tops to pots n pans to a dishwasher !! The complementary breakfast was perfect as well to fuel the crew before a day full of adventures. All in all this was aa great stay for the weeekend in Vegas we even took advantage of the pool which was heated and to our surprise no one either knew or wanted to indulge. Will make this our place to stay while visiting Vegas read more

Shout out to management. Jonathan literally went above and beyond to make sure my stay went well. There's a little note they'll leave in your room which reads, "Our goal is to ensure you are EXTREMELY satisfied with your stay". They are not kidding. It's a newer hotel, so they might be still working out some kinks, but if there is a problem Speak Up and allow the staff a chance to resolve. Brand new hotel right off the strip. Clean, friendly staff and great breakfast. Parking was complimentary too. No freeway noise.

Our stay was super comfy, clean and everything was amazing. We stayed in a room close to EVERYTHING. Laundry, pool, ice machines, parking and fitness center. We flew in early before 3pm and the hotel was able to give us room. Super close to the airport and walking distance to the Strip. The front desk agents were all so helpful and friendly. We felt safe and very welcomed as they always wore their masks and practiced social distancing. One agent made sure we were the only family in the pool for an hour slot and even brought our towels when there were none outside. After checkout we noticed we were missing our daughters softball gear ‍ I immediately called the hotel and the agent answered and immediately went to our room before housekeeping and grabbed our daughter's gear from the closet we left it in. 30 minute drive back to the hotel and as we pulled up the agent with the flower in her ear and ALOHA spirit greeted us with our belongings. Definitely a lifesaver and we will definitely stay here again. read more

Friendly staff, especially Teresa at the front desk. Wish there was more grabbable food in the lobby, including milk for me to buy for my coffee upstairs. Decent lobby and WiFi works better than at many hotels. Calling it an "apartment" is a stretch.... There are a few kinks, like no hook on the back of the bathroom door (?). Also a "master switch" at the front door which kills all the power in the room is unnecessary and very inconvenient. Only discovered it when trying to visit the bathroom in the middle of the night and no way to turn on the light in there. Linens and beds are nice -- I love a real fitted sheet instead of those flat sheets that are tucked in but always come out and wake me up in the middle of the night. The room size is generous. Better than staying in a smoke filled casino for sure. read more

Master climate control is set in the daytime so you cannot control your room / suite temperature during the day. Hotel staff claim it's not happening. Either corporate doesn't tell the onsite employees about this, or staff know and pretend ignorance because they can't change it. All week long here, the HVAC starts blowing cold air every morning and does so throughout the day to bring temperature down to 72 all day. Each morning this starts and each evening it stops. Even when I turned the thermostat completely off, the unit still keeps blowing cold air periodically throughout the day. If I turn off the thermostat and turn it back on at 75, it will warm for a bit and then revert back to cooling to bring the temperature back down to 72 again. This has been extremely frustrating during the days I have been here, and everyday while getting ready to leave in the morning, cannot control my own room temperature. Not everyone likes their indoor temperature that low in winter. Obnoxious. read more

The TownePlace Suites in Las Vegas is a great hotel. It was very clean and also walking distance from the strip. The staff were all extremely friendly and inviting. Parking was free and the breakfast was decent as well. The only downside to this hotel is that the suite rooms are definitely on the smaller side and a little more compacted. I didn't mind too much but was staying alone on a work trip. Would definitely stay here again. read more

I stayed here for 3 nights in a 1 bedroom suite, when we got the room it smelled really bad like old food I told the hotel receptionist but she didn't care and told me well that is all I have. The location is not the best. On one side of the property you have homeless people living in the sewer drain system and they come on the property to swim and shower and that ruined my whole vacation become who wants to get in a pool that no one cleans after a guy full of grease and feces all over his pants jumped in the pool and took a bath ... yuck. I told a staff member and he kicked him off the property. I also witness one guy pulling a bag out of a bush that he hid. The security guards walk around but don't do nothing about the unauthorized guests. The lobby smells really bad of Marijuana. I also found roaches in my room and along the side of the refrigerator there are a bunch of dead bugs I believe roaches become they are big. I called the front desk and was offered points to my bonvoy account but I won't stay here again the area is trashy. read more
