Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was complete with hot food, although both mornings we were there, small complaint, only sausage no bacon. The people of course very friendly and they kept all the food stocked. The fitness room was pretty good for a hotel, not like the Marriott Marquis but still more than adequate. Also attached to the fitness room is a laundry room and it says it is free. You need your own detergent but that seems like a good deal. All in all very good experience.

I was utterly exhausted and didn't have the energy to switch rooms. Luckily it didn't seem like anything was stolen, but I really didn't have any mental energy to spend - this was the day after a family member passed away - and I just wanted to crash into bed. I did speak with an assistant manager the next day who apologized profusely, and thankfully I haven't had any other issues since then. I really wish the breakfast was better - I miss a waffle maker. The breakfast variety isn't great, and sometimes there can be a big rush of people. One morning, there was a crowd waiting for more pancakes, and when more came out, there were only enough for a few people. It was awkward. Most mornings, I just end up with hard boiled eggs and a bagel - the hot options looked too greasy or soggy. For me, this hotel is about the location - it's very convenient for me so I put up with the meh breakfast. We were able to also have dinner at the restaurant downstairs and the sandwiches were delish. My husband also got wings, which were delicious and cooked perfectly. The breakfast selection was limited, but with this price I couldn't expect to get a full buffet. It's enough for our breakfast anyways. The staff was friendly and helpful. Bill and Crystal are the new innkeepers at this unique and cozy B&B in the middle of cornfields and far enough away from the city lights that you feel like your in your own little bubbled respite. And while we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Pheasant Room, we can't wait to go back to enjoy a stay in the Santa Fe-esque "In Your Dreams" Master Suite. The beautiful gem-walled walk-in shower power base bed, and huge jacuzzi was more than enough to convince us. :-) Of course, the down-to-earth hospitality of Bill and Crystal were the icing on the cake. We learned a lot of interesting facts about the Dome and that it is the probably the safest place in case of any natural disaster or fire. Our stay was short (just one night) but we would love to come back just to have a more relaxing stay and enjoy the beautiful outdoors around the Dome as well. The room was certainly a fun design and everything was super clean. There was coffee, tea, water, and snacks at the ready right outside our room upstairs, available at any time. We had to wake up and leave pretty early (7AM) the next morning to catch our flight from Chicago and Bill & Crystal both woke up early to see us off. They also made us coffee and orange scones (which were delicious) for the road. We really appreciated their closeness and openness- definitely a must see place and a great B&B. We hope to be back! She had to walk back and forth to the back office. Then she walked upstairs to check to see if my room was ready (yes there was a line of customers). She was aloof too. Zero greetings or communication about my stay. Elevator out. Read it's been out for weeks. Hall carpet nasty looking. Room furniture dated but functional. TV too. Bathroom OK, except sink drains very slowly. Ice bucket had no liner and was damp. Bed OK but more pillows needed for a king bed. Pulled the last Kleenex out of box. Looked and there was that usual bundle still at the bottom of the box, rolled up. But, tissues were white before and bundle below was blue? Never heard of that before. Hmmmm... It was quiet but I noticed people nearby were also older single guys on work stays like me. I only gave it a 2 as breakfast was decent. Afterwards, noted no email receipt. Checked Hilton Honors account. Said late cancellation! No. I was there. Already sent them a message on that. Even told them my room number. No receipt, so I might not get reimbursed now. Argh.
