If you're a beer fan, and fan of local and beer history, this is a must visit stop in downtown Cleveland. There's a ton to see here. If you reflect outside, you can see how this used to be a bunch of separate businesses and houses that gradually turned into the large spot that's here today. The exterior is historic brick facades, some of which carry over inside. It's along a street that has been transformed into pedestrian only access, so you'll have a pleasant visit if you sit outside to enjoy the fresh air, shady trees, and passersby. Inside there is a ton to look at. The main entrance toward the middle hold the original brewing system from when they first started; they've come a long way. To the left you'll find the merchandise store, with beer to go, plus a ton of apparel, swag, and other merchandise. To the right begin the bar areas, and there are a few. The old bar is here, right at the crossroads of all the staircases and hallways: the basement is its own vibe and also has the only restrooms, main level has various seating areas. If you're at the main bar, you can order direct from the bar; our bartender was so fast and attentive despite the huge crows. Upstairs is another experience with old creaky floors and many small rooms for more intimate conversations. Everywhere throughout is historic brewery art, trays, bottles, etc. from the region, most of which are long gone. Their beer is consistently well made and flavorful, I'm told they have amazing holiday traditions and events here. It's well worth a visit.

Really cool spot I was pleasantly surprised that it's a legitimate restaurant and not just a brewery with a little room like many are . The service is super friendly and fun . Obviously an amazing beer selection And their food is very good Namely their Edmund Fitzgerald Porter BBQ wings

(See my other review for my thoughts on their production facility and taproom, it's worth visiting too!) This place is a local favorite and it was easy to see why. I loved the exterior of red brick, with large outdoor seating and table area including warmers for colder months. They have two distinct areas inside, with the front bar and restaurant along the main street, and more bars in the back which felt more like a private group area too. In the basement, you'll find the Ohio City Room, which is really worth checking out too. We sat in the main bar area and had a friendly server. Having just come from their other location, we still had plenty of new beers to try. Their styles are diverse, and prices are reasonable. They have a selection of to go options by the front doors as well. I can easily see this spot filling up quickly; if you're a beer, spirits, or cool venue fan, it's worth your time to come!

I love that they are always inventive with their brewing and come up with really fun stuff. Their I Heart Cider is the best. On this visit, friends and I got some wings and a chicken sandwich. Both were good. Service was friendly and they have tons of TV's to watch games.
