New location, bigger space, nice decor and ambiance. The food was great as always. They took a lot of dishes off that I used to enjoy from the old location. The chicken breast was great but the chicken thigh was extremely fatty and off putting. But will 100% return.

David was a kind server. I ordered the chicken with 2 sides. I ordered all white, but they gave me a white and dark. I didn't send it back, but was a bit disappointed. I enjoyed the Mac and cheese and grits as sides. The location and vibe of the restaurant is ideal for any time and with varied company.

Pimento Cheese dip. I'm not a huge fan of pimento cheese but this dish changed my mind.

My partner and I had our first date here 3 years ago. The chicken is crispy, the pickles are tart, and the cocktails are strong. Servers are always super sweet to us and everything comes out quickly.

Delicious hot cocktail. Tasty deviled eggs. Super busy on a Sunday at noon. Personable staff. The tater tots were unexpectedly good. The chicken bun was a fried chicken patty sandwich with fried egg and pickle relish mayo mix. An amped up take on a classic sandwich indeed.

Went here for brunch on Sunday and had a great time. I would recommend a reservation or to arrive right when they open as it's a popular spot. My friends loved their Shakshuka i liked the eggs Benedict but the star of the show were the deviled eggs and chicken & waffles. The deviled eggs were perfect and we polished off two orders between the 6 of us. The coldbrew came in beer style bottles which was cute. The hot sauce was excellent. If they offered espresso drinks I'd be there every weekend!

Fantastic spot for a southern breakfast! The inside was cute and a little on the smaller side so make sure you have a reservation. The food was great and the service was prompt.

Was so looking forward to trying out this spot, after pursuing it for so long. Unfortunately, I have to say that I was underwhelmed by the meal experience. Came with a large(r) group, and the staff was extremely accommodating to this request (we did have a reservation set-up) and provided excellent service to all. Given the small footprint inside and the densely populated dining space, the cranked up music made it quite difficult to hear each other speak and hold a conversation. Having said that, it is certainly a lively place filled with energy! As for the meal itself...there were issues. Our table received a couple of plates of complimentary biscuits with jelly and butter, but they were already fairly cool and therefore more on the hard and dry side than warm and fluffy. I did enjoy their jelly / butter combo. For my main dish I opted for the chicken and waffles, upgrading my plate to both a breast and thigh in order to try both variations (you can choose either/or). The waffle sections came doused in powdered sugar (as was the warm syrup) and two decent sized boneless chicken pieces breaded and fried. The waffle were certainly on the dry side, which was a bit disappointing. The fried batter on the chicken lacked any real punch of flavor so I applied the available homemade hot sauce which was on the tame side in terms of heat and spice flavor as well. Maybe it was just an off night in the kitchen? Maybe a brunch meal is the better option (as many others here have noted)? Not sure what was going on, but things were "off".

This is the type of plate that makes you feel like you're in grandma's kitchen: greens, gravy, mac, and fried chicken so tender and flavorful it could be eaten on its own. All at an extremely reasonable price--this is a Cleveland must-eat. Pictured: Evenin' Chicken Dinner with a side of Gouda Mac & Cheese.

Came in here on a Thursday night after several recommendations and was amazed at how refined and cozy the small dining room felt! Perfect for date night. Started off with complimentary biscuits, butter, and jam to kick off the southern vibes. We tried the buffalo hush puppies which were fantastic. Well crafted cocktails came next with fast and pleasant service. Tried the late night chicken dinner meal and the chicken was crispy, juicy, and excellent. The ham collared greens were also fantastic. Man and cheese was very good but nothing to write home about. Overall will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone who is craving some southern comfort!

Went to this place for a group brunch and they were sweet enough to accomodate a larger reservation than they usually allow. We also felt we had plenty of space and the staff was very attentive. As for the food, everyone loved what they got. I got the chicken and waffles. It comes with 3 waffles and 2 pieces of chicken: one piece is breast and one is thigh which both were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The waffles had rosemary in them, which I wasn't sure what to think about that but it didn't take away from my experience and would order again! Loved the complimentary app they gave each tables and overall just enjoyed the ambience of the place too.

A great memory of the good old days at Soho included Pappy van Winkle and a tasting menu that defies description.
    William F.

Pappy van Winkle was always my favorite experience at Soho. I was fortunate to have experienced four dinners over four years. The vibe was electric and the service was perfect. I look forward to new adventures at the new location nearby.

    Devin P.

Soho is a solid weekend brunch option. The service was friendly and we enjoyed the food. I got the steak and eggs and the steak was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The biscuits and jam that they give to each table are also a treat. We had one small issue with the hash tasting a bit charred, enough to where it was interfering with the rest of the meal and they had the kitchen remake it without an issue. It's been awhile since I've visited at dinner time, but their dinner options are worth trying as well.

Erin was our server and she was amazing, from beginning to end! We would come back just for her, but I know she works limited hours because she's busy being an epic artist! She let my dad tell her dad jokes and when he wanted to meet Leo (because he looks like Fish from Shoresy and my mom thought he was hot) they obliged which was truly going above and beyond (even if it made me and my sister a little awkward). The boudin balls were great! Very similar to New Orlean's verisons so that was great! We also tried the hot rocks which were also great! Our table tried both gumbos, the jambalaya and the crab cakes. All of which were delicious and the closest you'll find to NOLA style around here! For dessert my mom scored the last creme brulee which made her day and the rest of us had beignets. Their beignets are definitely not Cafe Beignet or Loretta's level, but they are still absolutely delicious as their own dessert, like a mix between a funnel cake and a beignet! Drinks were also amazing! It's one of like 3 places you can get a Pimms cup in Cleveland! They had a lot of other cool options and Sunday looks like it's usually an all day happy hour so we have to go back! And finally, I just have to note how beautiful the place is. Hatfield's is located in a strip of shops on Lorain Road in Kamm's Corners. The restaurant has a small patio out front, a nice old school bar along one wall, a bunch of tables and an open kitchen in the back. The decor is casual eclectic Americana. Nice and dark with a comfortable feel. The menu is definitely Southern BBQ influenced, one side is breakfast, which has been rated as one of the best in Cleveland. The lunch and dinner menu is straight up comfort food. As a pescetarian the only entree is the Catfish and Grits, so I got an order to eat and one to go for the next day. The Catfish and Grits came out looking and smelling great. The catfish is smaller nuggets heaped on top of a generous portion of creamy grits with a great sauce, cheese and fresh jalapeno slices. The dish was delicious, perfectly spiced with just the right amount of heat. The jalapeno slices provided spiciness and a welcome crunch to the dish. I was so happy that I not only got to try the dish, but even better is having a second helping for the next day. Service was attentive and friendly, the chef/owner came out of the kitchen to check on the few guests in the dining room, always welcome to see a guy who cares about his restaurant and is proud of the food he is putting out. I would suggest giving Hatfield's Goode Grub a try, if the rest of the menu lives up to the Catfish and Grits it is one of the better local casual restaurants. Well worth your time.

I was a little confused because the server called it a seafood jambalaya instead of etoufee, but it was listed correctly on my receipt so maybe those terms are interchangeable. There was a generous portion of crab meat and shrimp, and I enjoyed the flavor of the broth--flavorful but not too rich or strong. I ordered a blueberry mocktail as well and enjoyed that too.
