My wife and I were looking for a place to have dinner while visiting Cleveland after spending the afternoon at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We found TownHall, and it wasn't far from where we were. We got lucky and found a parking spot on the street right across from the restaurant. When we went inside, we noticed there are two different sections--one for dining and the bar area, and another that appeared to be more for takeout and quick service. We were seated fairly quickly and chose to eat inside since it was getting later in the evening. I had found TownHall on Yelp but honestly didn't spend much time looking at the menu. I trusted some of the highly rated reviews from Elite Yelpers and figured we'd give it a try. Our server was very friendly and asked if we had been there before. When we said no, she took the time to explain the menu and how the restaurant focuses on organic and healthier ingredients. My wife and I don't typically dine at organic-focused restaurants, so we didn't realize that was TownHall's concept. She did a great job explaining the menu and pointing out some of the more popular items. My wife ordered the grass-fed burger with Brussels sprouts, and I ordered the steak bites with white rice from the appetizer menu. While we were waiting for our food, we witnessed something that was a bit disturbing. A customer had a dog sitting on a bar stool next to him. An employee brought over a cup of whipped cream, and the customer fed it to the dog directly on top of the bar. The dog then proceeded to lick the bar top. A short time later, someone brought the customer a plate of food, and he appeared to encourage the dog to eat from the bar area as well. Personally, I didn't think that was very sanitary and felt it could be a health concern. Thankfully, the food completely changed the tone of our visit. When our meals arrived, we were genuinely surprised by how good everything was. The grass-fed burger was cooked well and had great flavor, and the steak bites were outstanding. The sauce paired perfectly with the rice, and it ended up being one of the best dishes I've had on our trip. Despite the issue we observed at the bar, the food and service were excellent. Based on the quality of the meal alone, we would definitely consider returning the next time we're in Cleveland but after seeing the dog lick all over the counter and not get cleaned probably not. Would have given a lower star but the food was good management must have thought the dog at the bar was fine?

We stopped in for dinner at town hall on the fourth. This is a large restaurant bar with both a take out side and a sit down restaurant. Lots of TVs with sports playing. Our server, Gabby, was a character and very helpful. They have a large choice of on tap American beers. The menu is a bit eclectic, with a focus in 'healthy' options. We got fries, keto fried chicken, and steak bites. It was all solid.

Went to TownHall today for my friends bday brunch! We were in the private room upstairs. The service was excellent - fast and very nice server. The food was tasty - I got the Eggwich with potatoes. I didn't get a crepe but they looked amazing and huge. The food is VERY reasonably priced. My only complaint is that a single espresso martini was $20! Otherwise, I enjoyed and I will be back!

I was in town visiting a close friend, and she took me to some local spots around the Ohio City neighborhood. I had previously heard about TownHall from a coworker, so I suggested we make a stop there since we were in the area. First impression of the restaurant/bar was that the place was a great hangout spot. Spacious, festive decor, and several taps to choose from. How could one not like the ambiance of the place? We grabbed a couple of chairs at the bar. Service was so slow. There were two main bartenders covering the bar. One greeted us and handed us menus, but we never saw her again. A second bartender came around, and he was thankfully more attentive. He recognized we hadn't placed our food order yet and helped to place them for us. I ordered the keto wings, which were fine. I personally did not find anything special about them going through the "72-hour" process. The wings were much more tender than the drumsticks, which were no more tender than any other drumstick I've had elsewhere. Whoever put the BBQ rub had a heavy hand, so the Aji sauce helped to pare down all that salty seasoning. I would bail on the hot sauce. It's not that hot, and it reminded me of Carolina BBQ sauce with its vinegary-base if you're into that. My friend got the grilled cheese and tomato soup, which was cool. Flavorful, tasty, and comforting. I think it would've benefited with more cheese, but I thought it was a solid dish overall.

So this food was amazing. I was expecting sweet potato fries but was so pleasantly surprised when these slices came in front of me. They're seasoned perfectly. The nachos were also fantastic. Who knew chili would add such a flavorful touch? Vibes of the actual restaurant were very nice, the lighting was just the perfect amount of dark. oh and I also had a mock tail mojito that was 10/10. On top of all this it's healthy!!! I like knowing I'm putting something good in my body :) wish this was open in Florida!!!

The hit of Cleveland fun upbeat restaurant and bar. Next door smoothie, coffee, other healthy drinks. The menu is amazing and draws people in to better healthy cooking style and ingredients. Tonight they celebrated an anniversary and small business pocket pop up event. Tonight they had a DJ. The indoor ant outdoors is inviting with color and style.

The Spicy Cali Roll and smash burger was excellent ! We are from Michigan and travel to Cleveland to visit the Cleveland Clinic. We always make a point of stopping in and have been repeatedly well satisfied. Service has always been terrific as well.

I went to TownHall for a friends birthday in their private room and I was impressed! The wakey wakey was so affordable ($13) and it was really good. I loved the biscuit & potatoes. The service was great and our server was so attentive and kind. Great experience!

This would be a 3.5 but rounding up because I Love all the GF options and attention to sourcing from organic farms at this restaurant. Truly a health conscious choice while still being upbeat and fun and having decadent and binge worthy options as well. The sausage was something I was excited about but it was cold and obviously just reheated and reheated. Oh well! Same for rosemary potatoes. Likely due to busy Sunday brunch. Flavors were great and the biscuit my husband got with the cheddar and sausage inside was delicious and moist and perfect. Great place for a game or a fun big group brunch!

The Experience & Atmosphere Town Hall continues to be a cornerstone of the Cleveland dining scene, offering a modern, high-energy environment that perfectly captures a youthful vibe. Whether you're looking for a seat in their sleek interior or a spot on the lively patio, the transition from walk-in to seated is seamless. The staff here is a significant asset; they are not only attentive and friendly but also exceptionally well-versed in the menu's complex dietary landscape. Beverage Program Their drink menu is impressive, leaning into "Nature's Pharmacy" with a health-oriented twist. * 'Say Less': A solid, refreshing choice that felt balanced and clean. * The Highlight: We also ordered a second cocktail (a recommendation from the staff) that was absolutely exceptional--vibrant, fresh, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Culinary Highlights What sets Town Hall apart is its uncompromising approach to ingredients: 100% non-GMO, organic produce, and zero toxic seed oils (they cook with avocado oil and beef tallow). * Beef Nachos: These were a revelation. Unlike standard bar nachos, these use crispy tallow-fried corn chips that provide a superior crunch and flavor. They were loaded with high-quality toppings and were incredibly savory. * Carnivore Smash Burger: A must-try for meat enthusiasts. The quality of the grass-fed beef was evident in every bite, paired perfectly with the rich Tallow Truffle Fries. * Note on Execution: I opted for the sweet potato waffle bun. While the flavor was excellent and it's a brilliant grain-free/Paleo alternative, it did lack some structural integrity. It fell apart mid-meal, making for a messier experience--though the taste certainly made up for it! Final Thoughts It is rare to find a venue that can accommodate Keto, Paleo, and Vegan diets with such technical skill while maintaining a "see and be seen" social atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to a return visit to explore their Miracle Noodle bowls and Organic Broths. If you value ingredient transparency and a fun night out, Town Hall is a Cleveland essential.

Wow! Great spot in Ohio City --right over the river from Cleveland. With great food, amazing top notch service, and variety!! This place does coffee, smoothies, bowls, teas, pizzas, beer, tacos, burgers, and so much more. They rock on so many levels. The feel of the place is super chill and cool. Whether you want to watch the big game (they have multiple TVs), indoor and outdoor seating, getting a coffee or tea, or just getting up with friends they'll accommodate. Super nice and dog friendly! Been here three times and more to come!! A great gem of Cleveland and Ohio City!

The service was fantastic, but I felt violently ill after eating here, after 6hrs of i/v fluids at Metro, they didn't have answers for me, but the nurses suggested avoiding in the future. Server was friendly and always made a point to walk around the ridiculously giant bar instead of sliding items across and I really appreciated that. Big negative is the "Transaction Fee" at 2.9% even if paying cash!!! That should be illegal, or at least warned very clearly before ordering.

    Eion P.

Went for brunch for the first time and was totally impressed. Now I'm certain Townhall has cemented itself as my go-to brunch spot whenever someone visits from out of town. The dishes are indulgent and creative (that chicken and cinnamon roll has to be one of my favorite bites of 2025). Couldn't get enough of the eggs benedict either. Service is quick and friendly, with plenty of seating for larger parties. The space feels modern yet comforting. A really cool indoor/outdoor vibe. Overall total crowd-pleaser and I can't wait to visit for dinner and drinks. 5/5

We shared the loco moski, paprikash sandwich, and a side of bacon wrapped tots (good option if you just want 2 and not the full appetizer). While the bacon wrapped tots are famous from Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, I actually liked the loco moski and paprikash sandwich more. The loco moski is a fun combination between a loco moco but with pierogi, and I like that the peppered gravy wasn't too rich. The paprikash sandwich was also a great combo of chicken, sausage, peppers, cheese, paprikash, on lightly crispy bread. Parking available as free street parking--though you may have to circle to find parking since it's near the Christmas House. Staff were nice and efficient. The place does feel a little tight in terms of space with less lighting, but there's still plenty of seating and what matters to me more is good food. Overall, great place to try local food. I wanted to try the pierogi and the Polish boy and the KRAUT and having an extensive beer menu doesn't hurt either. I wanted basically everything from the menu that came vegan (spoiler alert there are tons and tons of things) but gastric space comes at a premium on vacation so we settled on the fried cheese. I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING. Like you will burn yourself if you, like me, have no patience. The accompanying tomato sauce is also steaming. So good. The Polish boy was also in a league of its own. Love that they have a vegan version. What a combo. Probably one of Cleveland's most important community contributions. We ordered the latkes to go and they were orgasmic. What a special place.

We were totally fine with that, went and grabbed a coffee from a local shop, and then returned to the restaurant. Food was great and the server was so kind! The reason for the 3-star review is because the hostess was very rude. She completely shattered an easy 5-star review. We had nine people in the family, and one was golfing. We intended to put in a takeout order for him but due to the 45-minute wait, he ended up finishing before we were even seated. We invited him to come along and then we were called to be sat. We ordered his meal for him prior to him arriving and this was still a major problem for the hostess. She basically threatened to move us back outside and told us we were "holding the table" even though we would have never done that. Instead of giving me the opportunity to explain to her we would have done takeout anyways had he not arrived(but he did because again, it was a 45 minute wait), she just continued to talk over me. It made all of us very uncomfortable and the first 10 minutes we felt very on edge and unwelcomed. She then did the same thing to our ninth person when they walked in the restaurant 5 minutes after. He had no idea what had already occurred and was also caught off guard. Most of us worked in this industry in the past, and we thought we were doing the right thing by letting her know. Thank you to everyone else who helped soften our experience. It was very appreciated. Every person who brought a dish to our table was extremely kind. We all had something different on the menu and there were no complaints!

And don't let the casual vibe fool you--you can absolutely get a serious cocktail here, expertly made and perfectly balanced. On the food side, if you've had one too many and need something substantial to soak up the drinks, may I suggest the Polish Platter? It's an absolutely delicious gut bomb loaded with pierogies, stuffed cabbage, Polish sausage, noodles, and potato cakes. The cabbage, sausage, and pierogies were all fantastic. Prosperity Social Club is the kind of place every city wishes it had: authentic, welcoming, and completely devoid of pretense. It's the sort of bar you walk into for one drink and end up staying all night.

Had been craving Leavened for a week and finally decided to give in. Only problem is it's near my…read moregym... so I got pastries after a workout session. Whatever. I'm so sad about this, but this was not my favorite experience at Leavened. Customer service was great of course but my selections fell short. I got a mushroom and ricotta croissant, which was fine. I forgot the ricotta was supposed to be there because it mostly tasted liked mushroom, but it was good. I also got the cinnamon monkey bread. This was not good. It was seemingly cooked in the paper that it was served in so the top of the bread pieces were crunchy, the middle was softer and then everything else was completely stuck to the paper. I didn't get to eat about 1/3 of what I paid for and I had to work really hard for the other 1/3. Also, the bread had a very spicy taste. It must have been cinnamon and allspice, but it was entirely too much and very overpowering. It truly tasted like a spicy savory bread which is not what I was expecting or wanted. Monkey bread is usually gooey and sweet. This missed the mark, but that's okay. I'll certainly return for another treat soon. Also the bread was looking fire this day.

I think I've tried this place enough to finally declare it an overall disappointment. Today I tried…read morethe hoisin tofu sandwich. The bread was fresh and crusty, there were two small strips of tofu that had maybe been dribbled on by hoisin sauce at some point, some lettuce and jalapeño slices, and carrots. The sandwich was dry as a bone and a really sad empty version of a banh mi. The chocolate rye cookie I bought as a back up was thankfully still deliciously chocolatey and soft as usual. The guy at the register said the bread pudding still has a "cinnamon roll base, so it has orange in it" despite nothing in the sign denoting this awful addition to bread pudding and the fact that cinnamon rolls are not orange rolls. But I digress and I won't fight with a cashier over their poor decisions lol. Also got a cherry chocolate sourdough on impulse. Pray it is soft inside.

We were given water, menus, and time. I requested salmon with polenta. My son requested brisket mac n cheese. My wife requested a turkey sandwich and french fries. The ambience in the place is nice. It was a beautiful, sunny evening and many people sat outside. When the food arrived, it looked very appetizing. My salmon and polenta were excellent. The sauce it was served with was creamy and yummy. The salmon had a crispy exterior that was pleasing. The polenta was excellent with the sauce. Great dish! My wife enjoyed her turkey sandwich, but ended up switching dishes with my son, since he didn't love the brisket mac n cheese. That dish ended up not being eaten. I'm glad we had dinner here. Good food. Good service.

Then there's a big patio for nice weather. It was a nice sunny spot to sit and relax. Enjoy a beverage and my all time favorite... The Lamb Burger! That is the best burger there is (assuming you like lamb). Fresh ground lamb smash burger, grilled onion, cheddar, sweet & spicy chili crisp sauce on a toasted bun. I always ask for the chili sauce on the side. I followed it with one of the best desserts around. Orange Phyllo Cake, warm phyllo dough cake layered with orange slices. Served with powdered sugar, yuzu cream cheese and cranberry compote... Amazing. The hostess, and our server (Michelle) were very pleasant and did a nice job. The only small issue was a party of 16 people right next to us... you can imagine the noise level. But that was no one's fault. They were having fun. So yes, I definitely recommend. Give them a try. Sorry for no pictures, I was occupied.
