Haven't had to use them in a few years because I have a new car (is covered by dealer), but they are as honest as can be and great work. I wrote this review sometime back and Yelp actually hid it as a review that is "not recommended." Really? The review that I wrote is very positive as this is a great place and yet Yelp HID the review? This place deserves this review, so I am posting it again. Here is the review: Toy Connection Auto Repair is simply the best, hands down, no doubt about it! If you live anywhere within driving distance, and are going anywhere else (or thinking about going anywhere else) please STOP right now and give these guys a call. You will be so glad that you did! I have been going to Toy Connection since the last millennium, the last century...since the mid-1990s, and this is almost the end of 2020. In all those years that have spanned decades, these guys have ALWAYS been fair, honest, affordable, looked out for me when I had to interact with other mechanics, and never ONCE have they tried to sell me ANYTHING that I did not need. And, I am a woman, which apparently means that every mechanic out there should be trying to sell me gold plated air filters, or some ridiculous, overpriced thing that they imagine a woman would never know that she does NOT need. NEVER these guys! To give a little example of how great they are: when I was traveling out west, I would roll up to the big dealership mechanics who would not only charge so much more, but would almost ALWAYS come out with some explanation of something that I most DEFINITELY needed. Being used to the much better treatment I received at Toy Connection (where the only thing they almost always come out with is the very affordable bill), I would give them a ring, explain what I was being told, and so many times they would save me by saying, "nope, you probably do not need that!" On occasion over the years I have dropped by in between appointments for some minor concern, and they have always taken the few extra minutes to put my car up, give it a check, and let me know that I am ok. Recently, I went to one of the big dealerships who wanted to charge me $110 dollars just to do a basic check to determine the cause of an oil leak that Toy Connection had checked and verified existed in a few short minutes - for no extra charge! So many people get those "free oil changes" from the dealerships, but how "free" are they when they are coming out and trying to sell you endless things that you simply do not need? Especially if you are, like me, someone who does not know a lot about a car and will look at that dirty air filter they are showing you, and think, "surely it needs changed!" (I once had this attempted on me at a big dealer mechanic. I got in touch with Toy Connection who showed me a REAL dirty air filter, and said "THIS is what it should look like!" If you don't know, you really can be taken...) These guys are just the best that there is. They are they ones that everyone should be going to, and who all men should be sending their moms, sisters, wives, and any female friends/relatives to. They do a great job, charge a great price, look out for you when you have to interact with other mechanics, and know how to treat their customers right so that they keep coming back year after year, century after century, millennium after millennium... all joking aside, if you are not going to the best around - if you are not going to Toy Connection - the question that remains simply is: WHY? read more

We were stuck in Ormond beach after being towed in. We found Toy Connection through Yelp and called. Josh was extremely helpful and the service was wonderful. This is the first mechanic that I have found who is honest, reliable, and very good at what he does. My Kia had a major electrical problem and would stall and not start.
