I happened to stop by this nail salon after picking up a package from Bath & Body Works, and I'm so glad I did! It was my first time here, and I had the pleasure of having JoJo as my nail technician. It was actually her first day working there, and I was only her second client. You would never have guessed it because she did an absolutely amazing job! JoJo is so kind, friendly, and easy to talk to. She made me feel comfortable from the moment I sat down, and she really took her time to make sure my nails looked exactly how I wanted them. I'm very picky when it comes to my nails, so finding someone who gets them just right is not easy but she definitely did! The salon itself has a wonderful atmosphere. Everyone was welcoming, it was very clean, and the overall experience was relaxing. I'll definitely be coming back, and as long as JoJo is there, she'll be my go-to nail technician. I already have a appointments planned with her over the next few weeks, and I'll be sure to post another update after those visits. I have not been disappointed in any of my visits to this salon! (I do only go for the pedicures, so I don't have experience with hands.) I have gotten a different person each time, and I will say the quality is pretty consistent. I am not much of a talker, and I go to pretty much get pampered. They seem to respect that. I will say that the price is very reasonable for the services received. I have gotten various "levels" for the pedicure and not been disappointed at any level. I really need to find a new nail salon to go to. I keep coming back because it's a very inviting environment, but every single time I come there's an issue. Today I came for a pedicure, and was seated right away after I booked an appointment online. The pedicure was fine overall, but the massages lack severely, and I paid for an upgraded pedicure in order to get the heel scrub and callus removal from my heel and bottom of my foot. It literally looks the exact same that it did before I got my pedicure. it's insane that you have to pay that much money for a service and it's never provided fully. I've worn long acrylic and gel nails for 30 years so I know when they are well done. Took my daughter to this salon when I was visiting from California and whoever did her nails did a TERRIBLE job. Granted, we just walked-in and took a chance. They were so thick and unnatural and in a week, the polish has begun to peel off. I wish I got the gal's name, she was sitting on the left side as you walk in. I do NOT recommend this place. For them to employ a person who cannot do false nails well, it speaks to the entire salon's leadership. read more

This score has nothing to do with the quality of the work, but it has to do with the ethics of business. This is not my first mishap with the salon, I gave them another shot. Needless to say, we will not be going back! When I was checking out, the gal in front of me was also saying they charged her more than her usual visit. I hope people start paying more attention to their charges there. 1) Charged me to take off my dip nails to get them done. NEVER in all the places I've ever been to do you get charged for removing your previous polish. You pay the fee when you downgrade the service. 2) I asked how much the nails that I wanted cost. One of the ladies took my phone, went over to a nail tech and came back giving me the price of $65. When it's time to pay- they charge me $80! When I went in to get my acrylic nails removed to give my natural nails a break I got questioned on why I wasn't getting more nails. Then the girl they sat me with acted as I was disturbing her own nail session because they told me to sit at her table while she was doing her own nails. So as I said before I didn't know what to expect getting them removed but I sure knew I never wanted to get them done again if I had to get them removed that way!!!! She cut my nails down then she took another fake nail and pried off the acrylic nail ripping up some of my natural nail. Three different times I told her it was hurting me. She never changed her technique she just continued and I just dealt with it because I didn't know better and I just wanted them off so I could get out of there. She roughly filed a little around the edges and said ok you're done. 20 mins I was in and out. All my nails feel so sore and sensitive. I know they don't make as much when someone wants them removed but you're still a paying customer. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I am very disappointed in the service here. I come here from time to time because I live here at Park West but quality doesn't match price. I paid $20 extra for "French tips" making the total around$85 for a "refill"but I requested gold tips which was painted on with a different type of color that probably wasn't the best for French tips. Because I notice the fading and a dent in my nails when I arrived home. I didn't make a big deal until by day 2, half of the gold had disappeared from all the nails. I called the shop when I got back in tow and the owner said I could come in and get them fixed. When I arrived I questioned whether I should get them touched up with that same polish because it's probably going to yield the same result. I suggested going with a different color and was told I had to pay again for a polish change. Why would when YOU screwed up MY nails and I already paid you. I just had the gold removed and left so therefore I paid $20 extra dollars to still end up with my nails bare. Well I don't think so. I'm so tired of merchants taking advantage of consumers. I will be contacting my bank to dispute the $20 charge as well as my tip that they didn't deserve. And I have the pics to prove to my bank that I did not get what I asked for. I had the worst expierence at this salon!! The nail tech had a horrible attitude, she was answering calls and not paying much attention while doing my nails. She disregarded what I asked for, when I told her that the nail color was too pink she said not it isn't, I said yes it is and she said it would change once she put the top coat on. She continued after I clearly told her it wasn't the correct color. She didn't put any effort she continued and my nails were uneven, thick, she filed them too much making them way shorter then I wanted. I asked for a simple nice french tip and she couldn't do that. The french tip is uneven and looks nothing like what I asked for. I asked to speak to the manager he told me to come in to get them fixed. I came in and he started to get very aggressive and loud infont of the whole salon saying it was my fault for not saying anything. I told him I did say something but she ignored me and why did he tell me to come in if they weren't going to fix it. He said they would fix only the color and the lines and I said no they need to remove them because the whole set is unacceptable for the $75 dollars I paid. He kept going in circles I told him I wasn't going to go in circles with him. I left with no refund or solution. Worst customer service ever! Treat your customers that bring you buisness correctly!! I was only trying to get what I paid for!!! I had to go waste double the money to get my nails fixed elsewhere! Avoid this place!!! I LOVE my nails!! This was my first visit at this salon so I was skeptical, never know what kind of salon you're walking in to. Tiffany did my hybrid gel (tap gel) full set, she was very friendly and asked me exactly what I wanted before she started to make sure we were on the same page. I walked in at 11:40 and was on my way home by 12:50, so a quick service but still done very neatly. My nails are the perfect nude shade, thickness is just right, and no cuts or messy polish. I will definitely be back!! side note: the lady in the chair over didn't like her gel polish application with a different nail tech, Tiffany handled the situation VERY well and tried to make multiple accommodations for her. nice to see a salon where you aren't shamed into accepting something you don't like. read more

This was my first time at this salon. I've never had to stop the nail tech from finishing a mani due to pain & bleeding. The photos are after I rushed home, & washed my hands. She applied polish over the mangled skin & blood! I'm hoping stopping the service & going home to apply first aide will avoid infections. She blamed it on my "sensitive skin." I would leave zero stars if I could. I just left this place and I will NEVER come back to this place. This was my second experience with this place and the first time was the BEST experience. However, this experience was the absolute worse. I have acrylic on my big toe and the woman who started my feet DID NOT listen to what I wanted. I wanted it trimmed down and because it grew to fill it back in while keeping my toes SQUARE. What she did was trimmed my acrylic down to the skin and rounded my square shape to almost like an oval. Completely ruining my square look. Because she did not know what she was doing they had to have someone else to do it. But because the damage was already done in the beginning it was hard to get the square back EVEN WITH THE ACRYLIC. The color I wanted no one seemed to understand the color so I just went with white because you can't go wrong with it. And I sat there mad the whole time. After the service was done I spoke to the manager and she called the owner to see what could be done and to say the least nothing in that moment. So I paid for the service to avoid from a way further escalation. The owner should be ashamed of themselves for the option he told the manager to offer me. If a customer is not happy due to the mess up of your worker, the service either should have been rectified and NOT WITH A 10 dollars gift card for next time. After I told them I would never come back here. It should have been corrected or comped. At the end of the day you pay all this money for some crappy service, because they still expect to get paid. Just to walk away angry with no solution. Saying "I'm sorry" does not cut it. Hell I'm sorry too that you couldn't do the request I was wanting. Beware that if you go here, it is at your own risk. I will take my business elsewhere to a nail salon that truly understands customer value and most importantly CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. read more

I am very disappointed in the quality of work I received last night. I paid $148 for very basic, mediocre work. The prices they advertise is not what they actually charge since my full set (which I asked for very short nails) cost $95 and the paint job and actual acrylic was not done correctly. It's messy, has lots of bubbles, the edges are extremely sharp, and the acrylic does not go down to my cuticle so I'll be lucky if this even lasts 14 days. Went to this place because I saw they had great reviews and fair prices however, I experienced otherwise. A full set was to be around $55 and they charged me $75 ... I thought okay, maybe that is a fair price for what I asked for... then I start getting my pedicure done and confirmed with the guy doing my toes that I wanted the $35 option. As the person doing my toes is cleaning up my cuticles, I start bleeding from one of my toes and I have to ask for some alcohol because he wasn't even aware I was bleeding. When he finally saw my toe bleeding he said he was sorry but there didn't seem to be any sanitation protocols for the supplies that came in contact with my blood. So I get done with my pedicure they give me a receipt that states my pedicure was going to be $60 because the guy decided to use gel polish. They never confirmed or asked if I wanted gel on any parts of my services which should be protocol if they're going to up the charges for those kinds of "add ons" I am super aggravated with my experience here. read more

If you want to go in for a certain service and get coerced into something completely different, go here I came in wanting a Gel X manicure as I get the same thing every time I go to the salon and Gel X has been wonderful for me as I hate acrylic. This was the first time I went here and I had high hopes because my friend recently went to this salon and her nails were gorgeous. When I went into the salon today, my nail lady decided she wasn't going to do Gel X and forced me to get this new organic covering thing they have rather than what I came in for. I told her several times I want my old Gel X replaced with a new set and that's it. She didn't care and continued to do the thing she suggested. I didn't know what else to say as she had a hard time understanding English and I apparently wasn't getting through to her. I've never been a salon where they've told me what I should get rather than what I've requested. Overall, it was a beautiful salon and I really wish it hadn't gone this way. I've just had such terrible experiences at salons that I'm envious of people who have gorgeous natural nails as they don't have to go through this. read more

If I could leave a zero I would. The only reason why I came in is because I had a gift card for a pedicure. So I came in on a Saturday around 4:30. They got me back pretty quickly for that. As I was getting done with my pedicure the lady started doing my nails. I went for the Hybrid Gel on my nails. Due to the fact that my thumb nails were really bad & not as long as the other ones. The lady placed tips on those nails. They were done very sloppy & the next day they were cracking. I called Monday to get them fixed. Well she decided to just do acrylic on both of my thumbs to fix them. I don't understand why because I got Hybrid Gel at the beginning. Well it's been less than a week since they've been fixed & my thumb nails was cracked in the same spot. I'm so upset bcuz I thought you could build a nail with the Hybrid Gel. Well it was all a waste of money. To top off the day I got my nails done I was putting my shoes on before I left & my toes got messed up. It was a very upsetting situation overall. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I had to WALK OUT. The absolute worst treatment I ever got from a nail salon. I was a walk in . I was told 30 minutes so I waited. I was excited, I had previously looked at the prices prior to the walk in thru their website. I had a couple of ideas in mind but I wasn't asked what services I wanted straight up when I made the appointment (aka they didn't even talk to me and screamed iPad for check in across the room) I was originally assigned to a guy to do my nails. However when I told him I wanted design and shape he told me to switch to a different nail tech. So I did. I sat down and showed her my designs I was thinking and I even asked for the prices straight away. She kept avoiding telling me until I asked for the 5th time. I WAS QUOTED 180!!! it was a one finger flower nail art design along with French white tips. I asked how about a simple French nails would cost with the same almond shape. SHE SAID 130!! For a simple nail design I rather just get the basic acrylic if it's gonna cost an additional $72. She got so upset about this so she didn't respond to this . Instead she proceeded to switch her language and talk to every nail tech about the situation and roll her eyes and told me to "go away" , and she wanted to switch once again nail techs . I was stunned by the lack of professionalism but I didn't say anything to them about it. I switched once again back to the guy which disappeared for about 5 minutes and that's when I had enough . I grabbed my stuff and left. The most expensive pricing on their website lists full-set, length, AND DESIGN is at 80!! Why are they jumping to 180?! Or for a simple French tip for 130?! I was expecting max to spend 120 on my nails but instead left with nothing but being shit talked and being tossed around 3 times from two nail techs that did absolutely nothing to my nails. read more
