I had to ask her to paint the whole nail and to repaint my nail because of brush strokes and spots not painted. So I never went to them, maybe one day I will because they might be amazing. I don't appreciate that they don't post or even reveal what their prices are until you have physically walked in and ready to be served. I went in for the first time because they're close to my house and have been looking around for a place to go with a friend of mine. I asked the lady what her prices were or if she had a list of them. She appeared slightly frustrated or put off and said they had no prices. She did tell me what the price for a pedicure was, and maybe a manicure, but I don't remember. I decided calling for a quote of exactly what I wanted could be better, so I called and a guy answered. He said he would need to see my nails first before giving me a price. I'm surprised that they get a lot of business this way. Anyways...since I was trying to compare nail salons and find the best place for the best price, although it seemed like a nice place, I won't be going somewhere that can't be upfront with me and allow me to evaluate all my options. Very strange business tactic if you ask me. But if it works for them and customers don't mind going in blindly, then good for them I guess. What should've been relaxing ~ became very irritating~ Gel over cuticle on the side & not covering entire nail bed up to cuticle, took 2.5 hours for regular pedicure & gel nails, spa massage chair didn't work & offered no discount ~ I wanted yellow nails & suggested that the put a white base to make them "pop" & they said we'll just layer it until your happy, 2 layers & looks like crap, I would've demanded a refund or discount but was tired of sitting there & knew it wasn't going to get any better, another client mentioned to me she's been there for over 4 hours for a mani pedi A 5 year old could've done my nails better than this crap! read more

Idk if this is the shop next to 99c store but if it is stay away WORST WORST WORST nails ever... experience was horrific & I went a few times nails were breaking off almost immediately & went back 2 times to FIX them & each time just got worse & took forever !! The 3 rd time i was there 3 fkn hours & then she had the nerve to try to charge me.. the nails looked like trash & of course broke off again within an hour... she was literally nodding off while painting my nails it was flipping ridiculous this place should be shut down seriously! Went to get 'dip nails'. Within 24 hours 2 popped off. Got those fixed. 2 days later 4 more popped off. Went back to get a refund and was told "no, because I don't know your nails". I have been doing dip nails for several years now and never had any POP off!! I gave a one star rating only because I can't give a zero!! I paid $60 with a tip...WORST $60 EVER!!! NEVER AGAIN! The manager even witnessed the conversation. So I asked repeatedly if she could just take them off. She rejected me and repeatedly said they're fine and look good. I told her it wasn't about the money and that I wasn't even looking for a refund at this point. She still fought with me and did not take my nails off. She insisted she would redo them. Never going back there again. Rosie messed up on my nails AND charged me $10 more than it was supposed to be. This was my second time going to T & Y Nail Spa. I had the WORST experience my second visit. I noticed when she was putting way to much dip on my nails that it wasn't going to turn out good. I even started crying as soon as she walked away. I remained calm and waited to see the finished results before I said anything. It took her at least 45min just to drill and file down the sns power dip because of how much she put in them and it STILL didn't help. She cut my finger with the drill (which happens sometimes I get it) but was only making my experience worse. She even had to re-do the same nail THREE times. As she finally finishes my nails (an hour and a half later) she then charges me $45 for sns powder dip fill. The salon pricing for that is $35-40 unless you get French tip (which I didn't get). The last time I went there was my first time and I got the French tips. I paid $45 because I had gotten the French dip. The fact that she did a terrible job, (and I knew she even thought so herself), cut my finger, took an hour and a half, and STILL charged me $45? That doesn't add up at all. It was a terrible experience and unbelievable pricing. Super dissatisfied, disappointed, and now having to find more time to go to a new nail salon and get them re-done for full price. Not looking for any sympathy only trying to warn people. They are very nice people but when the nails turn out that bad, it's not worth it. read more
