Horrifying. Terrifying. I just left mid pedi. The tech, a middle aged man with a disorganized, dirty cart, exasperated my grace to the point that I stormed out. He mangled my feet. He used a nail file on my callouses. When I asked if his instruments were clean, he assured me that they were. Whenever I jumped from being stabbed, he said I was sensitive. Then when he took out a callous remover paddle, there was skin already on it. I washed off the very sloppily applied mask (he didn't put it on the back of my calves) and spoke to the manager who said the man was new. I asked if he was licensed and was told that he was. If so, why didn't he know about cleaning the instruments, or which to use? The manager just smiled passively and I knew he would do nothing. I will not return to this foul place. I have pain in my feet from where he filed away my calluses, and stinging in my toes where he stabbed me. If I get an infection, I'm going for their license. They knew he wasn't licensed. read more

Came in on Tuesday the 5th with two friends to get pedicures for my birthday. Spent 60 dollars, the service was great however 2 hours after I got home my heels started to sting and I could barely put any pressure on them, I inspected and have 4 large cuts on each foot. Bad enough that they are scabbing over and I can't wear my required shoes to work. I called Wednesday morning to speak with someone about what happened I was offered 20 dollars back on a 60 dollar service with no apology. After discussing further the man was kind enough to offer me a full refund, I said Thank you and that I would be in after work. I showed up and no one was able to help me or make a call to a manager in regards to this situation. I wasn't going to leave a review because while I do understand that things happen I was still frustrated but it seemed as though they were making an effort to fix the problem unfortunately that's not the case. Walked in the day before Christmas Eve, prepared to leave if there was a wait, and there wasn't! Yay :) My niece and I just wanted to get some polish (I honestly can't color inside the lines, lol, so it's impossible for me to do it!) for Christmas. After moving here 3 years ago from California I've struggled to find a decent nail salon. For over 20 years I've either had acrylics or gel manicures done, so when it comes to my nails I'm very picky. After having the normal place where I get my pedicures from I decided to have them do a full set of acrylics. Total fail. I wanted to give Le Nail Works a try after a food friend of mine suggested using them. So I did today, and I feel dumb for not listening to her in the first place. I've been to a lot of salons already, most of them are actually pretty nice. I like this one also, aside from it's just few walks away from our house, their service is good. You know us girls, we just want to relax. My favorite part aside from my nails get beautifully done, I always enjoy the massage chairs! And also the human massage when I do pedicure, they're very good! ^_^ Most nail salons are run by Vietnamese people, and they are actually pretty amazing. They are friendly and accommodating. Funny, because I always get mistaken by them, they always think I'm a Vietnamese girl too, without even asking, they just start conversing with me in their language =) I just politely repond: "You're very sweet! I really wish I can understand what you're saying, I'm actually from the Philippines" ^_^ Then we start to laugh. I don't know, we Asians just have that friendly and cheerful attitude that we just automatically get along very well with each other even if it's only our first time meeting. ;-) I first got my nails done here in May of 2015, prior to my wedding. i picked a nail art that would match with my bouquet. And the lady that did my nail, really did awesome job! Since then, I've always come here This salon is pretty neat and clean. Sanitation is indeed very essential for a salon right? I've come here 3 times now and that was the last strike. First time I made an appointment and had to wait anyway, fine, ill try again. the 2nd time my nails weren't painted all that great and felt rushed, sides of acrylic missing some paint. fine it might've just been the person. Now this time, im done. I did walk in because it seems like the people who walk in get done faster anyway. I asked if I could get a pedicure and a gel manicure. The guy at the front desk says " oh can you come back at 6" sure no problem. I come back. My pedicure is good no complaints. He talks on the phone to the guy from the front desk and says oh sorry he said he didn't hear you say gel manicure and we close at 7. How could you not hear but you heard pedicure? So he asks if I could come back. No, I work during the day and Im leaving on a trip tomorrow. The response I got was oh well sorry we close at 7. This place is obsoletely terrible , I've been going here since I was probably 7 years old and I'm 17 . I showed a picture to the guy and he didn't say anything about it and just proceeded with it. Till the end when he was gonna do the designed he said he couldn't do it. So I told him to just do white nails . The nails came out badly shaped , lumpy and terrible. This was nails for such a special event and I literally wanted to cry when I saw them. I ask the manager if he could have someone fix it and he said no and I asked for them to be removed and he said no and I would have to pay the full price for something so ugly and disgusting. However, I stopped because I found myself getting a new set of nails every two months. The process of application and maintenance was subpar. My nails would lift from the cuticle, and my nails would separate from the tips. The acrylics were lumpy, and the shaping of my nails were not what I asked for, but I settled. In addition, the shop employees are not always pleasant. Being a military wife. I settled on this shop, because it was close to Luke AFB. I accepted the lack of perfection in their process. I accepted their lack of ability in nail design... however, I will not accept their lack of respect. I've been going to this salon for 4 years, after spending almost a year trying different salons in the area. They are by far the best. Not sure what to say about the other review in regards to their pricing... it is only $20 for a "spa pedicure" and it includes hot rocks, lotion, sea salt, hot towel wrap, etc. Pretty consistent for this area. I was a walk in & an old man with glasses asked me to sit at his station. He asked me how my day was & that was that. He was slow, shakey & it felt like he didn't know what he was doing. I asked how long he had been doing nails & he said 17 years. Doubt that, he is either inexperienced or is old & needs to retire! He CUT ME 3 TIMES with the electrical file & BURNED my skin with the manual file from over filing. I was so upset & unsatisfied!! I have been getting my nails done for over 10 years never have I been cut and burned so many damn times! Ugh! I have been a customer of Le Nail for over 5 years now. I got my very first set of tips from here. I have always been satisfied with their work, although I do think they are a little on the expensive side. Last week I went there to get my eye brows waxed. After the lady was done, she gave me a mirror to look at my brows. I had a freakin bold spot on the thickest part of my brow, you know, where it's supposed to be fullest. I point this out to her and she tells me that she didn't do it. Really??? It was just the two of us there and she is going to tell me that it wasn't her? She said she didn't do any work in that area of my eye brow, but she did trim all around so I'm pretty sure she snipped me somehow. If she had just apologized, I would have understood. Went in with my wife and a coupon for a $17 pedicure, normally $20. First, the positives: They were gentle while working on the cuticles. We often feel abused when getting pedicures, but not so this time. Great ventilation. There was none of that chemical smell in the air. This shop also offered very prompt walk-in service. On the downside: Scrubbing of the calluses was cursory, at best. If you want callused tissue removed at all, you need to spring for an extra five bucks. Most shops include at least some basic work and charge more for heavy callus removal work. My feet were no smoother after receiving a pedicure. That's just wrong! While I liked the hot stone massage, it was very short. Overall, it was an average experience. I'll still be looking for better in the area. read more

I've been getting gel done for about three years, and this is the worst place ever. It's not especially clean, there were tiny sugar ants crawling all over the nail color samples they gave me when I arrived. I asked for glitter on the nails with solid tips, the tech did it in reverse with glitter on top of solid tips, which just looks stupid. Then she said that's what I asked for instead of offering to fix it. So now I'm stuck with crummy looking nails for 2-3 weeks. For $30 plus tip, your money is better spent elsewhere. Also if you do nails for a living, you should keep yours trimmed instead of digging them into the customer's hands like talons. Overall horrible experience. read more

I come here every few months and get fannnnntastic service. Every single time for the past 4 years. I don't have one specific person I go to I'll take any employee knowing they all do wonderful work. I never feel rushed out I feel they really take their time. I normally do just a pedi but an occasional del polish for nails. One time I brought all 4 of my girls (age range 10 to 15) for the gel polish & they loved the experience. The staff did the same quality work on them regardless of age.
