The technician stayed for 45 minutes, gave a confusing quote between $300 and $1,400, and then admitted he couldn't actually fix it. He told my parents the only solution was to shut off the water to the entire house from the outside. He didn't even ask to look at the water heater inside of the house. ​My parents then got incontact with a family friend who is a plumber for his opinion. He knew exactly what was wrong just by looking at a photo. He fixed it in 20 minutes the next morning and pointed out that we didn't even need to shut the water off outside--there was an interior valve by the water heater the first guy completely missed. ​Roto-Rooter wasted our time and left my parents without water unnecessarily. They need to hire more qualified technicians who know what they are doing.

First I called my regular plumber and even with standing water on our floor, they couldn't schedule us till July! I called two others and no one could come today. Finally I called A1 American and had to pay $179 just for them to come look at it and it took them all day to get here because they don't schedule appointment times! Once they were here they quoted me over a thousand dollars to snake my toilet. I got back on google and google recommended Buchanan's Plumbing. Great reviews and known for their honesty and affordable pricing. Called him up, he quoted less than half of what A1 was going to charge me! So, I paid A1 the 179 for coming and sent them on their way. Buchanans was here in 30 minutes. Had it fixed in a couple hours because the job was slightly more complicated than they thought it would be. But the price didn't change! And they're super nice, very friendly. He actually cleaned the bathroom when he was done! Scrubbed the floor, put everything back better than it was! He even put shims under our cabinet because he noticed it was leaning forward. Incredible! Even with what I had to pay A1, Buchanan ended up still being cheaper than what A1 quoted me. And I know they did a better job. Hands down! I'm SO GRATEFUL for finding Buchanan! I'll recommend them to everyone in need of a plumber. They're our go to from now on! Thanks Buchanan!

Had a very stubborn clog in my drain pipe coming from my HVAC. Called Bud's for a second opinion, Andy came out the first time with different tools than the first company, and while he wasn't able to initially clear it, he didn't charge me for his labor and was able to find exactly where the clog was in the wall. I had to open up the sheet rock, but he came back next week and cleared nearly 3 feet of caked rust in the pipe in under an hour, even replaced the corroded section with brand new pipe.
