Every time I have used their services I have had a very good experience! All workers were caring of their patients!

Labor and delivery specifically: I had a great induction and delivery. All the nurses I interacted…read morewith were so nurturing, supportive and let me choose my care and really reassured me I'd be ok the whole time. Specifically shouting out a few nurses that really made a difference for me were Jillian, Bre, Lakita, Katie and Caitlyn (if the names were wrong or spelled wrong I'm sorry, I was a little loopy a lot of the time). Honestly my whole care team was amazing. I'm coming back to this labor and delivery for my next baby because I know I'm going to get the best care.

Severe communication breakdown and lack of empathy for a critical care family…read more Our family's experience with Providence St. Peter Hospital has been deeply distressing during an already terrifying time. My 83-year-old grandmother was recently T-boned in a severe car accident, suffering eight broken bones, and was only just moved out of critical care. She managed to call me from her room, but the phone was disconnected. When I immediately called back to reconnect with her, I faced an absolute wall of bureaucratic incompetence and zero empathy. First, the staff claimed they had no idea who I was talking about. Once they finally recognized her name, they flatly refused to transfer me to her room or provide any explanation as to why. To prevent a family member from speaking to an elderly, severely injured patient who just initiated contact is completely unacceptable. The extreme lack of coordination between units and the rigid, unhelpful attitude of the staff turned a medical crisis into an agonizing, aggravating ordeal. St. Peter's leadership seriously needs to address how their staff handles communication with worried families. Frontline staff need training on basic empathy and how to properly locate transferred patients instead of just shutting families out.

The food is also pretty good. We're extremely fortunate that there was an opening, plus the facility is only a minute away from Providence St. Peter's hospital.

One evening after he had been there a while we got a call from the night charge nurse telling us that my father's leg was broken. We went there and saw that he had been packed into the bed with pillows, and there was a sign above him saying not to move him. He had been given so much narcotic pain medication he was unresponsive. His leg was badly broken and he was taken to the hospital. When they were setting his leg they noticed a huge, black pressure sore just above his tailbone (I saw it when he was at the hospital...it was hideously bad), and they told us it might cause an infection elsewhere in his body and to have it monitored. He was returned to Mother Joseph Care Center as there were no alternatives at the time (heartbreaking for us). Two nights later he was transported to the emergency room with pneumonia attributed to infection from the pressure sore. Long story short, he died a week later. The staff member(s) who were responsible for his broken leg were never identified, and the day charge nurse who would have been responsible for doping him up (locked meds cabinet) was "punished" by being transferred to the Alzheimer's wing at Mother Joseph Care Center. One of the staff actually suggested my father broke his leg by "moving around in the bed too much"! No accountability whatsoever. Please do your research, talk to family members as well as staff. And beware of this place.

Getting X-ray results to the.office is a pain. I received day after X-rays to my medical app. This cost me $100 every time I got an X-ray x 8-10 times. Paid the bill from Zadina. 6 months after passing stones I have an appointment. I had a family emergency and was seriously strapped for money until payday. I asked to pay my copay on payday and they refused me service. I was dumbfounded at this and will not be returning to this office ever! I am going to check with my insurance to see if they were billed for this non appointment that they cancelled! Ridiculous this happened over a copay, I was in a either feed my family or pay the copay situation. What an ass!

Receptionist was very nice and making an appoint was simple. I arrived for my appointment on time, and in lots of pain. Dr. Zadina shortly came into the room and went through the standard questions and asked other questions. He was very detailed. Diagnosed the type of Kidney Stones I had and gave me some prescriptions to take care of them and some of the side effects. Had two follow up appointments and I am now Kidney Stone free. I really like the fact that when you leave, the receptionist gives you a complete printout of your visit and any action items, so you don't have to try to remember what to do next or what was said. No problems recommending the doctor...he knows what he is doing!
