These guys are FANTASTIC. I have ordered MANY items from them over the years. EVERY experience was over and above my expectations. They TALK to you. And they have FAIR prices. I have also tried to deal with Dixie Gun works and have found them to be polar opposites. They were terrible. SO IF you want to purchase a part of history in a percussion or flintlock rifle or pistol LOOK NO FURTHER! This company has some great products for the flintlock shooter. They supply items that you can't get anywhere else. I've ordered from them many times and the quality of what I have received is very good. If it wasn't for their failure to live up to the promised level of customer service, this would be a four or even a five star rating. The problem I have is with their shipping. They promise same day shipping on many of their items ( please see the attached photo which is a screen grab from their website highlighting this process). Unfortunately in none of the many orders I have placed with them have I ever gotten same day, or even the day after shipping. The average shipping time for my last few orders has been about 4-5 days before items ship. That's about 8-9 days before the item shows up. I placed an order on Monday morning this week. It's now Thursday and nothing has been updated on the order. The last order I received had a shipping notice created four days later but notification that it was received by the post office took two more days. The order from placing to receiving was 12 days. The best thing one can say about their shipping speed is that it usually gets there sometime. Now this would probably not be a big problem for most orders but it is a sticking point in that they promise SAME DAY SHIPPING. Failure to consistently live up to shipping promises equals lousy customer service. If they can't deliver when you say they can, then don't make the promise. Again Track of the Wolf offers nice quality products but nothing gets anywhere fast. They are not the place to go to if you expect the service and shipping they promise. read more

I Love these guys products!! But there shipping choices are junk! Only use UPS Ground which ran me more than the products i was buying! I contacted them through email about my shipping woes of using UPS Ground for Hawaii. I received a quick email back telling me to head to the online website to get a shipping quote... which i had done already when i followed up there email back trying to clear up what i was asking for i never heard back. Sent the email two more times and again never received any thing back. So i ended having to send it to my father out in NY and gonna have him Flat rate it to me using USPS. Again love there products always have hard to find products but need to work on there shipping cost. I paid $1200 for a used gun from their website. The gun they sent me didn't look anything like the description they wrote about it. The pictures were just good enough to hide the major flaws. It was so horrible I had to send it back. The sights were severely misaligned and badly bent, the wood working is awful, and it's even missing a piece. It cost me $150 to ship it both ways and Track said they won't help me with the shipping. When I called them about it they actually said the words "too bad." They refused to discuss the problem with me, their customer service is terrible. If I had sent the gun back just because I didn't want it, I would never have asked for them to help me with the shipping. But they completely misrepresented that gun, and I feel totally cheated. I want everyone to know that I was totally polite on the phone even after they threatened to hang up on me (which was only about 2 mins. into the call.) Do not buy guns sight unseen from Track, they will cheat you. read more

We were greatly disappointed in the quality of the items we received Paid for higher quality gun stock- it came split. We got our order in multiple deliveries which was fine however packaging of the product was really bad. I can say that the return and refund went without problems. They have a great selection of items. When it is picked you are given the name of the picker and shipper. They are quick and the order appears to be 100%. The reason I am giving such a low rating is their shipping cost. The shipped to me in a USPS flat rate box that runs $7.20. However I was billed $15.09 for shipping. I don't mind a little over to cover some incidentals, but jezz... more that double the shipping cost is a little ridiculous. read more

I am happy to be accused of hyperbole when it comes to my recent experience with Track. Overzealousness at cleaning my T/C Seneca .45 resulted in - SNAP! - broken ramrod. My local, excellent gunsmith (R&L Lee, Cleveland, GA) recommended I call Track. My initial phone call was handled with utmost courtesy and professionalism. Kudos to John, who located exactly what I needed. Within a week's time my ramrod arrived in the most secure, stable and strong packaging. I could tell Track went out of their way to make sure the ramrod was getting as much shipping TLC as possible. But what really reinforced my belief that Track is as good as i gets...the paperwork included specific names of company representatives - with direct contact phone numbers - if I had ANY issue whatsoever.
