Nice, clean, not cluttered with too many posters or beer signs. Music wasn't blaring. We were there midafternoon so I can't comment on the evening hours. Very friendly! Bartender/waitress was great! She immediately informed us of the food and drink specials. Only negative, she didn't introduce herself. We ordered the loaded nachos (special for $9.99) for a starter. They were loaded with queso, tomatoes, refried beans, lettuce, and seasoned ground beef (our choice). Definitely entrée sized. My husband order the bacon cheese burger ($12.95). Topped with 3 crispy strips of bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, pickle, tomato (he asked for no tomato but he got it anyway), mayo on the side. I ordered the Franky's favorite burger ($13.95) It was topped with cheddar cheese, mushrooms, shredded lettuce, tomato, and mayo on the side. Laid back atmosphere. 6 large screen TV's with various sports. Bartender was welcoming, helpful, and working her butt off! Brisket Mac and cheese was really, really good. First of all this place just opened 10/28/19 The moment I walked in I was greeted by the owner who was very nice. He seems committed to quality and fresh fast service. I had the Trackside burger. It was the hottest freshest burger I've had in a LONG time! Fries were crispy and great as well! Owner talked to me and said he's most interested in fresh great food. My burger was proof. I only get a half hour lunch and my food was ready in 10 min. I was out with time to spare. I can't say enough good about this place. It was better than most businesses that have been open for years and they have been open for all of three days! I will be back! read more

Across the tracks from Globalist Parasite A and Conglomerate Parasite B exists this second-rate tavern. Come on in for a REALLY CRUDDY time...if they're even open at all when you arrive. Closed three days a week for your inconvenience. With the exception of the gas fireplace, the building design and decor is LOUSY. The building design doesn't even feel correct (four full panes of glass in the building front but no windows on the sides; barroom four feet above ground level). The ugliest features in there are by far the barmaids. They are rude, unsightly, and their customer service skill SUCKS! I bet if the local neighborhood had its way, this establishment would be evicted off its spot. read more

To me, there isn't anything better than a neighborhood bar and/or diner! This little spot fits the bill for those looking for a good place to enjoy some food, have a cold beverage and watch a game on tv. I've stopped in a few times now and each time I was greeted and treated like family or at the very least a regular. Friendly servers, simple menu with daily specials make this a great stop. I've had the tacos, and the burger special... highly recommend. Tried the fish and chips and found it to be okay. It's not great, but it's not bad. The cod is fried in a corn meal coating that I thought was unusual for cod. I think they could do better, actually. The tarter sauce was basic with more mayo/salad dressing than dill or pickle relish. Cole slaw was simple and not super flavorful, but it was okay. Those are the least complimentary things that I can say about this place. Try a new fish batter maybe? It won't keep me from coming back because I'd like to see this local hangout survive. Prices are fair so why not?! Masks are required during these Covid times, but I noticed a few guests walking in without them. My server wasn't wearing one on this particular occasion but she was at least 6 ft away. Just throwing that out there for those interested. They do carry out as well as I've seen more than a few orders go out the door. read more

We tried Trackside tonight...inside its nice. Too many television for my liking but theres a fireplace, ceiling is pressed tin tiles from long ago, its nicely remodeled. I will return again and leave a review after the full experience. The menu is really limited...3 burgers and shaved prime rib sandwich. Fish and chips, Fried appetizers. Its pretty succinct.. which is ok. Focus is a good thing in my opinion. We arrived at 6 and the bartender who also took our drink order informed us her " manager was gone for 45 minutes, and until he returned she could only serve burgers and fried appetizers..." It was obvious she was there alone and people were starting to come through the door frequently. We did get a beer...but thats about it. Wr finished them ...sat for about 15-20 minutes wanting another...flagged her down for a check and left. Trackside has some kinks to work out, and an identity crisis. Figure out if you are a bar or a restaurant . The giant sign above the buiding facade states "Fine Food and Spirits". I dont think currently the focus is on the food. The bartender was friendly...and apologetic of the situation. She was also fully cognizant that people were there to eat, and it was impossible for her to effectively serve the bar drinks, and waitress the dining room at the same time. I want to like Trackside, and I am going give it 3 stars for now and will return later for an actual meal. read more

Decided to stop by for dinner with some friends based on the yelp reviews. We were not disappointed. The location did surprise us as it is in the middle of a neighborhood. I should have take. Note of that from previous reviews but it was not an issue. The place is clean and decorated nicely. The food was fresh and very good. We started out with chips and salsa. The salsa was great, homemade and spicy. I had a burger and friess which were delicious. A friend had the taco salad with pulled pork and another had the burrito. They also thought the food was delicious. The server was attentive and everyone working was very welcoming and helpful. read more
