I usually do the self check out and only have to involve someone when they need to check id for beer but they always seem to respond quickly and on this day there was not wait at the self checkout. Their produce is nice and they have a great selection. The prices are decent and they have great season ending clothes and shoe sales. I also used the deli today and the folks that waited on me today were friendly and quick. Although deli prices have gone sky high lately but that is no fault of Meijer.

Based on our previous experience with the return we decided to give that option a try and were not dissatisfied one bit. There have been so many businesses go out in the five years since I've been to town. But in looking for the Walmart, which was also MIA, I came across this Big Lots, also the Hobby Lobby. I went in the store and ask the first clerk I came across if I could ask her some questions while she was working and found out why the other shopping center was so empty and everybody had moved down here. Evidently there is a city project that may or may not happen but if it did it was going to use up the land those stores were on so they all moved down the way. That actually makes them closer to the motel I'm staying at which is fine with me because it was a bit of a drive to go all the way down to the Mounds Mall area to the craft stores. After talking and getting the information I followed the clerk's directions to the office supply section where I did not find the Scotch tape I was looking for in the size I wanted, half inch wide. I wandered around a bit after that and ended up finding a perfume knock off of my favorite fragrance, remembered that I was almost out of ibuprofen so I got that, a pretty lavender nail polish, some Q-tips, soap holder, and a Kirk's Castile soap that are usually $3 to $4 that they were selling for $1.20. Being so new, the store is clean and well-organized. Both Clerks I talked to were very pleasant and helpful

This is for there online shopping I went to order something it said there was one left in stock so…read moreI ordered it yesterday 4/11/26 and on the day it was supposed to be delivered 4/12/26 I got a notification that they canceled my order because they where out of stock and will refund my money in 10 business days so I call there 800 number for customer service and told them about it and that they need to do a better job of keeping the inventory up to date on their website better so people won't get screwed out of their money for days if it said out of stock I wouldn't of ordered it have have gone somewhere else to purchase this item that I need to do my job so now I have to wait 10 business days to to be able to do my job but Walmart doesn't care about us small people I will never shop at a Walmart store or their online service again
