I originally had a…read moreHUGE issue with the employees not staying well stocked on feeder mice/rats, both live and frozen. I was told by one of the employees that there is a certain customer that comes to Feeders to buy up ALL the mice in the store. This has become a serious issue especially during the months of June - August. There have been numerous incidents were they had neither live nor frozen rodents available, leaving my aunt's snake or any other animals that eat them, hungry. I didn't think it was fair for other pet owners that the employees catered to that customers demands for all the mice/rats in the store. They either needed to get another freezer to store more frozen rodents or put a purchasing limit on mice and rats. My original review that I gave them is one star, however I have seen improvements with them keeping the rodents well stocked and I would like to think the manager took my suggestion for a purchasing limit seriously. However the prices of the rodents have gone up, the teen African rats I saw were originally $6.99 each, that could've been a sale, but when I walked in earlier today I saw a sign stating that their teen African rats were 12.99 each. Even if the prior price I mentioned was a sale, $12.99 is steep for rats that aren't even fully grown yet!

As a woman we all understand usually that certain things don't look great on us or we're uncertain if we want to buy something without trying it on first. They've have a lot of sales on their clothes. It would appear that they'd sell a lot more if the dressing rooms would reopen. I understand it puts a lot of work on people, but Meijer really appears to be pretty organized so I think they could handle this challenge. Looking back when they started doing this it was 2020 of course. No one was allowed to use the dressing room for fear that it would be severely contaminated with Covid & we'd all die at Meijer trying on clothes. Looking back, you'd think they will want to fix this issue & allow us to try on cute tops or dresses, etc., etc. They probably would not have to open the men's dressing room because men don't really shop the way women do. I scheduled my two dogs for an evaluation last Friday. I was told to have them there by 9:30am, evaluation at noon, and then pick any time after 3pm. It was around 2:45pm and I hadn't heard anything all day, so I called and was told that my dogs had not been evaluated yet but they were about to within the next 15 minutes, it would take 15-20 minutes to complete, and they would call me when they were done so I could come get them. 4pm came around and I hadn't heard anything, so I just went to get them anyways. When I got there, I immediately could tell something was off. The employee at the counter just stared at the computer for minutes, not saying a word. She then went to the back office for a few minutes, returned to the desk and continued to just be on the computer. I could tell by her body language that something was wrong. She finally walked off to get my dogs, but I heard her call on the radio asking where they even were. When she brought them out, she just handed them to me and didn't say anything. I had to ask if they passed, in which she replied, "no, they were too nervous and you'll have to come back and do it again." She could not give me any details about how they acted or what the evaluation had consisted of. Something didn't feel right about this entire interaction, so I called to speak with a manager. There were no notes on their account, so the manager went to talk to other employees to find out what happened. Turns out they were incorrectly booked and did not receive an evaluation at all, and instead were "day-boarded". I understand that miscommunications happen, but explicitly lying is unacceptable. When I call to check on their evaluation and am told that they are about to do it but then never follow up, and then I pick them up and am lied to again about how their evaluation went. Just tell me they got booked wrong. Or when I called to check on their evaluation, do it then since that should have alerted you that there had been a miscommunication. That's all you had to do. Instead, the employees felt the need to fabricate a story and place the blame on my dogs' behavior instead of their mistake. PetSuites has completely lost my trust in their ability to care for my dogs and I will not be returning.
