I placed a delivery order early morning on Wednesday it took them until middle of the afternoon to realize they didn't have anything I ordered. The store associate called me and said we canceled your order. I've not seen the money come back to my bank account yet. Even my bank doesn't understand why I've not been reimbursed. I was given the team number I left a message on Friday. They've never called me back. I'm rather mad over this ordeal. read more

I love PSP! I'm also an avid animal lover. Other than my cat food, I get all my pet needs here. My cat food is Rx which is the only reason I can't! This location doesn't have animals or fish (anymore) so only plan to get supplies. They have a great selection of dog and cat food as well as their accessories. Lots of cool reptile, fish, and bird supplies as well. I recently bought a new aquarium heater and thermometer, however, I have purchased countless items here over the years; from dogs to reptiles to birds to small animals (specifically rats and hamsters). There's not much to say, honestly. It's just a nice pet store with friendly staff. read more

The responsiveness and product selection and availability from this store is awesome! We live in another town but have grand puppies that we don't get to see often who live close to this store. I've ordered on line and used the delivery option several times. Each time it's been delivered at the time promised, with no mistakes in product or quantity. For our most recent order, they called me to let me know of a needed substitution for one the ordered items and asked if it was ok. Really appreciate the staff at this store! read more

Very concerned about the animals being kept here after seeing the ferrets looking emaciated with empty food bowls ravenously eating pieces off their enclosure and digging into their empty metal food bow for over a half hour while shopping! the water bottle was hung out of reach and there was a steaming giant of pile of feces in the cage. the staff refused to check on them intially and then admitted the ferrets are only being fed once a day and they would need to text "the morning person to find out why they are hungry." Not one of them provided food or care for the ferrets. According to the other pets supplies i contacted these animals should be fed all day with food kept in the bowl. Associates in the store were laughing about the situation and standing around talking with their cell phones the entire time. it took 15 minutes for them to check on the ferrets and there was no line. They then would not feed the animals and when we left one of the poor creatures was eating chunks off a dog kong toy in his enclosure. will be reporting all of this to the proper authorities! shame on Mallory for failing to provide food for the animals under her care and for being rude and disrespectful about the situation. she needs to be closely looked at for disregarding these animals most basic needs. what a disgrace! read more

The selection and variety of pet foods alone make this store an excellent one. And if they don't carry a particular brand you need, they'll order it for you. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and visit here every week or two. A large selection of toys and accessories, too, so we usually always find what we need. And each time we visit, one of the staff always checks on us as we shop and ask if we need any help. Great service. They carry a cacophony of small birds, reptiles, furry rodents & fish -- but no puppy mill pups, which I do appreciate. They do allow the local animal shelter to bring in adoptable cats from time to time -- they might do that with dogs, too, but I haven't seen any myself. read more

I've been coming here for years and will keep coming back. They generally have the wet and dry brands of dog and cat food we get and the price is comparable to other pet stores. Great toy selection, if a little pricey. Customer service is always great. I've used both curbside pickup and delivery since the pandemic and it is always on time and 100% correct. AND they always throw in a little extra present like a wet food cover or pet food samples! read more

Had I written this review 2 months ago, it would have been 4 or 5 stars. Today, 2 stars. They recently remodeled the entire store. The front area as you walk in had all kinds of dog treats that were reasonably priced, including beefhide and some locally made dehydrated sausage links that my dogs absolutely loved. Since they remodeled, they now carry the same overpriced yuppie junk that every other major chain pet store carries. $13 for a 10 oz bag of dried beef lung (it says its Holistic on the label). I won't pay $13 for a steak for me let alone for my dogs. Its beef lung. Its not like its a ribeye or porterhouse. Its a lesser cut of the cow right? So why in god's name does it cost as much? And why is it the only thing available in the store now? I used to make a special trip to this store because they had decent products, some even made locally, for a decent price. Now they're just like every other overpriced pet store out there. No more special trips for me. I guess I'll have to check and see what Amazon has. read more

I have a real picky dog when it comes to her food. I even tried making her food at home. Some days she doesn't want anything to do with anything. So I didn't get her name but she recommended the Stella And Chewy's Meal Mixers in the turkey which seems to be the meat she likes the best. I was impressed that the clerk assured me that if she didn't like it I could bring it back. Well at first she pushed it around and took a piece of it and tried to bury it like she does with a lot of things, even treats. I showed my husband and he gave her a couple and she ate them and wanted more. So I fixed her the usual dish she's been doing well with which is Fresh Pets in the small dog turkey flavor and a couple slices of deli ham or turkey and put a couple of the Meal Mixers on top - I split them in 2 - and she ate the whole thing and wanted more. I split 2 more up and I think she would have ate the whole bag. So I'll be back for more soon. Thanks for this, whoever you are!! read more

I liked this store until I experienced something very unpleasant. I used to get the bulk rodent food here and one day I woke up to little beetles allllll over my bed room that hatched from the food. They were crawling all over the container and all over the house. It was awful. The prices are a little too expensive as well. read more
