After sitting there for 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, I had to go ask when I would be seen. They told me someone would come get me soon, but I ended up waiting another 10 minutes. When they finally came to get me, I asked how long the appointment would take and was told "only about 10 minutes." That made the 40 minute wait even more frustrating. I asked why everyone else seemed to go straight through while I kept waiting, and I was only told they were "backed up." Poor communication and long wait times completely ruined the experience for me. I will not be returning.

Recently visited this store to purchase tropical fish. A prominently posted sign on a tank…read moreindicated that all tropical fish and plants were 40% off. The person who retrieved my fish selections confirmed the info on the sign about the 40% off and told me which tanks that applied to. I got a couple of higher priced fish from those tanks knowing that the discount would help with the cost. When I got to check out the cashier told me that discount was only for their Rewards customers .. which I am not nor wish to be. I do not have an issue with complying with store policies IF I know in advance what they are. All they had to do was put the words "for Rewards Customers" on the sign. I suspect that the store is trying to take advantage of customers who would not pay attention to what price was charged at check out. Not only is this a bad business practice, the store lost a sale and I will use one of the other pet stores in the area. And I suspect continuing this misinformation will not help you compete with PetCo or PetSmart, Which BTW are just a 15 minute drive from your location. I gave him a detailed description of what type of dog bed I was searching for. He completely understood what I needed. He stayed on the phone with me 10 minutes after closing time, patiently & empathetically listening to me. He didn't have to do that. Devon gave me 30 minutes of his time at the end of his shift. Never once did he make me feel like I was being a bother. His kindness as well as understanding meant so much to me. I'm 58 years old & always had house dogs. In all my adult life, I've never contacted a pet store for information & been treated with such kindness, empathy, & patience. If you're looking for great advice, patience, & outstanding customer service skills, I would highly recommend speaking to Devon. I'm deeply touched by his kindness.
