My long haired doxie had her first time ever at the groomers today. She did everything we asked and left her coat long in all the right places. She no longer looks like A wild beast. We are so happy!

This is a great grooming business. They care about your animals and take great care in their grooming. They want your animals to look their very best. I have an international champion giant schnauzer who I have been the only one to groom for her three years. I trust The Pet Stop to groom her and know she will come back looking absolutely lovely.

We went to a couple of places, one even where you can watch on an app that was closer to us, but when we went to visit the place, we did not like the "vibe" of the place. When we took a tour (just call, and they will let you take a look at the facility before hand) of Paws Landing, we immediately felt great! We had our puppy for an half day "evaluation" with Durenda, which also made us feel at ease. She is marvelous!!! When we picked her up from that, she went over everything she did, and how she thought our puppy would do. They had her in a small yard first and let our puppy feel safe before they had her with the other dogs. I really like too, how they have the dogs separated into "small dogs", " large dogs" and "very active dogs". She has a great team working with her, watching over them, and most importantly taking care of them all day. They will always send you a text and email to confirm your reservation, which is great. They go inside and outside to play all day. If they go "all day" they will get a 2-hour rest, so they get a break from all the fun! But, believe me, when you pick your dog, they will be tired when they get home, which is "good thing"! Pam will send you pictures later via text of your dog, which is great to see at the end of the day. Now, that my dog has gone for awhile, she gets excited when we get there, and she is excited to see Pam and her team when I drop her off. Look no further for a great place for "doggy day care", Pam and her team will take VERY GOOD care of them, like they were one of their own!!!

The facility is spotlessly clean, which gives me total peace of mind when leaving my pet there. It's also in a super convenient location off US-183, easy to get to from Leander and surrounding areas. What really sets them apart is the 24-hour staffing--they provide round-the-clock care for boarded animals, so I never have to worry about my dog being alone overnight. We've used them for both daycare and overnight boarding multiple times, and it's been a fantastic experience every single time. I highly recommend Paws Landing for anyone looking for reliable, loving care for their furry family members!

Our kitty Farty started bleeding one day, stopped eating and moving. We took him to an emergency vet, and they basically said there was nothing they could do, and he was fine. After 3 days or trying to get to eat, drink, ect we, we feared that we would have to put him down. He was fading quickly, and we hated watching him suffer. My mom wanted to try and took him here, and thanks to the doctors collaborating and trying to figure out what was wrong, they were able to bring him back to his old self after weeks of care. He had a severe undiagnosed UTI, hyperthyroidism, and possible IBD. He was on deaths door, we were so heartbroken, and because of the caring of this vet, they were able to bring him back to his old self. I also recently brought my kitty Tiny in a panic due to her not keeping any food or liquid down, and they fit me in and were extremely understanding even though they were short staffed that day. This is the best vet I've been too and I always feel listened to, and I feel like they care about the animals so much. Every time I'm here, the phones are ringing off the hook, and I can see why. This is possibly the best vet in the area.

I think everyone should be upset with them holding medication ransom to treat a $2.00 sick chicken, demanding a $85 dollar fee even before the cost of the medication. It's claimed I berated their receptionist wit profanity when actually I was berating the situation. The receptionist took it upon herself to to become offended at me being upset. After I canceled an upcoming appointment telling them I would take my business elsewhere. I received a return call where I was told I was no longer welcome there with my other Animals (that they have received THOUSANDS of dollars for treating in the past two years) as if they are on some type of higher moral grounds with their demonstration of fake compassion and empathy for MONEY. So the takeaway from all this is to understand there is no loyalty points or frequent user awards given here if you show you're a real person and get upset or see their act for what it is - they will simply let your animals die rather than care for them. In addition if they can survive and be fine without the thousands and thousands of dollars I spend there annually, they obviously don't need your money either. Apparently they have pulled the wool over enough people eyes and hold enough medication for ransom from sick animals to keep them in the $$$ for quite some time. Unfortunately, the needless death of Bloomers the chicken is inevitable. Ironically, I doubt the needless death of Bloomers will have near the emotional effect on their receptionist as one of their customers getting upset. They may need to relearn to fake their understanding and compassion to include the fact that people get angry and upset at times. Beware! you are being recorded and they will threaten to use those recording to attempt undermining any negative review. Perhaps be aware of any other undisclosed recording devices being used at this establishment, you just never know.

If I could give negative stars,I would. After our awesome groomer moved to Dallas,my husband found…read moreSoggy Doggies. He went in & said they were nice.I told him I wouldn't take my Briards there because not many people know how to groom Briards, however,if he wanted to take the other 2 dogs (a Shih Tzu/Retriever mix & Morkie) that was fine. One thing we asked them: not to clip the Morkie's ears as we wanted her hair to grow longer. They constantly clip her ears short.I found mats on her coat.Husband liked them so I let it go.I did start taking my 3 y/o Briard (my Service Dog) to get his nails&ears cleaned out.He did not like Soggy Doggies AT ALL.When I first took him in, the girl in the back came out to clip his nails. She grabbed back legs 1st & when she grabbed front leg, I said "he has double dewclaws that need to be clipped as well." She SNAPPED, "I know! This is MY job! I KNOW what I'm doing!" Whoa! Then why didn't she do double declaws on the back paws? When I first brought him in,the owner asked me if he was a labradoodle! Briards are a purebred ancient breed!I took him in periodically to get his nails&ears done. It's hard for me to do them because I have Duyputren's Contracture in both hands. So,paying someone to do just the nails & clean the ears is worth it. Any time I took him there though, he would freak out & back away from them & jump up on me. He's been trained never to jump up on people. He was freaking out.I couldn't figure out why.It didn't make sense. In training @ school, anyone can take his leash & work w/ him.Apparently they were manhandling him because he doesn't behave this way anywhere else!I got another Briard puppy in Dec.Made an appointment to have her fully groomed ONLY for training purposes to have her handled by someone else. They didn't do a "clean up" around the vag or anus.Stated "we don't do that!"I said I asked for a full groom."We don't do that."Hmm.Okay.I made an appointment for my Service Dog because I was scheduled for surgery on my hand & wouldn't be able to groom him after the surgery (last week).I dropped him off this morning."We'll call you when he's done."I got a VM from my husband saying he was picking up MY service dog from the groomers.Uhhhh, what? They were supposed to call ME.I have his vest, collar, & leash.I called to ask why they called my husband instead of me & was told I was supposed to tell them to call me, not him.Umm, I was the one who dropped my SERVICE DOG off.Was told I should've informed them of that.I was told, "We have 1,500 dogs, we can't keep track of everyone." Me: You have 1,500 dogs there? Really?"She said, "No, that's in our client list." Whatever.Well, that didn't stop them from calling me when I dropped the puppy off a month ago for her grooming. They didn't call my husband. They called me.When he came home, I saw that my dog couldn't see because of the hair covering his eyes.I checked his ears:NOT CLEANED (see pics),not only that, as I we were trying to pull his hair back into what we call his "man bun" my hand touched something hard near his mouth. He had MATS still around his mouth and his nose with food debris from this morning's breakfast! His hair was also very frizzy, they did not condition!Briards have HAIR that's supposed to be conditioned, they don't have fur.As I took the straight comb to brush the hair out of his face, under coat was in the comb! So, I used the comb on his back & more undercoat came off (see pics). Thus proving they don't do a full grooming of combing out the undercoat. They have no clue what they're doing.I called back to let the owner know my dog had mats on his face & she argued he didn't as she was the one who groomed him, "I brushed him & combed him myself".I have pictures of the mats & undercoat I started combing out w/my good hand. Said they don't tie hair back as it's bad for the hair.Never had a problem w/ any of my Briards! So that's a lie. The total cost according to my husband was $55. That's it?Hey, you get what you pay for! When I used to have my Briards groomed by my previous groomer, it was always near or over $200.Why?Because she did a topnotch job & my Briards were SILKY smooth, not frizzy--she knew how to groom ALL breeds, a true Master Groomer!I should have just waited until my hand is healed because I can tell you my dog's coat was silkier this morning when I dropped him off. Also, my husband always tips VERY well! He tips 25%! I was ticked when I found out he tipped that much for this horrible groom! After hanging up from them, they apparently kept calling my husband. He told the owner he heard how she had just talked to me.He told her to cancel appointments for our small dogs,we were done! She called back AGAIN & AGAIN!He blocked their number!I showed my husband the yelp reviews & that they only had 3 stars. That should tell you something! This place is always filthy. They have a horrible attitude!

She claims that our pet could not be handled as he went after her. He is a trained dog and has never gone after anyone. Just the opposite, he loves attention. In my opinion the groomer did not know what they were doing. His nails were not done, he still had an odor about him and his deshedding was done very poorly. I called and asked to speak with the owner and was told she was not available. Long story short, there are too many choices in the area for me to have to deal with an employee with an attitude on the phone while voicing my concerns. Not a professional business. Not a place I'll return to.
