Not sure why this place is getting g such a bad rap here. It's a major chain retail joint. Take it with a grain of salt. For me, it's the closest thing to a hardware store without taking a trek (ok, there's Watts), they have all of our pet food, offer propane refills, and heck, I've even rented their trailer. It was 20 bucks-way cheaper than uhaul and way more convenient. If you think the prices are too high--well they price match. It's not a big deal, just show them the item on a competitors website. read more

The LaGrange Tractor supply continues to disappoint t. They must be having issues finding good employees and seem to be doing their best to run customers off! I have used a price match on senior horse feed for a long time. Suddenly this morning I'm told they no longer match unless it is the same brand. And the store manager did not know enough about the system to give me the tax exempt on my purchase I intend to contact the district manager When this store opened, the service was great and employees friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. None of those things there now. What a shame!! read more

This is my go to place for bird seed. They have it on sale once in a while and when they do I stock up. Today they had the Sunflower and regular mixed seed on sale. I'm also an impulse shopper so when I saw this complete package of wild flowers for hummingbirds, I had to pick it up. All I have to do is plant. read more

The only thing worse than checking out at this Tractpr Supply is being forced to shop here because horse feed stores are not in La Grange. Management needs to properly train the old men who check you out, related to speed and efficiency. No one wants to hear foolish stories, or watch cashiers fumble around due to poor training, when they are 5th in line for over 15 minutes. This awful experience never fails to repeat and the Tractor Supply slower than molasses consumer experience needs to be overhauled. read more

I have used this store for years they are smears friendly and polite. If what I need is not available they tell me when it will be. The price match Shelbyville and save me time and money. I am on 2-3 times a week. I highly recommend . read more

Very busy location the few times I've been here. Friendly, helpful and most of the time, overwhelmed service. The good thing is, they'll open up more check out registers as the need requires rather than keep people impatiently waiting like other places. TSC is a good place to shop, especially when they're running a sale on the item(s) you are looking for. You can purchase online and pickup in store or if you're feeling extra lazy, you can have it shipped to you! Only reason I docked them a star is really due to the general store design/footprint. I went in looking for deer feed items with a general knowledge of where it normally sits. The store is like a seek and find. Along my journey, I just happened to stumble upon the feeder I was looking for randomly sitting several aisles away from all the deer feed supplies that generally sit in the middle of the store. The outer sides of the store have some organization to them but the center part seems to always be chaos. Maybe it's by design but as part of my male characteristics, I like to get in and get out, only snagging what I need without being forced upon a makeshift treasure hunt! read more

I've been going to the Tractor Supply store in LaGrange for many years. I usually buy six 35 pound bags of bird seed at a time which lasts for several months. During the winter I buy a few 40 pound bags of deer corn for the local wild animals since we live in a semi-rural area. Today I went in there looking for a spare key for the tool lock box that came mounted in the bed of the 1949 Studebaker pickup truck that I purchased last week. The manager, Davin (sp?), couldn't find any info on spare keys so he ended up fabricating a new lock that would fit which came with two keys. He even came out to the parking lot and installed it in my truck for me. He went way above and beyond what I would have expected so I just wanted to commend the Tractor Supply Co. for having such an outstanding individual working for them. I'll keep shopping there and will recommend them to my friends too.... read more

Twice now that i have checked product availability on-line for the la grange store but when I call I get excuses as to why they don't have it. Both times I almost bought them on line for curbside pickup but glad I called the store first. In short: On-line says the store has what I am looking for but the Store says they don't. Way over priced. I want to like Tractor supply, but they miss the mark on price and rarely have what I need. Needed a new 12v ATV spreader. I will admit, I was surprised to find two different types in the store and excited about the possibilities. Settled on the Buyers salt and seed spreader. Threw the box in the cart and off I went. About half way to the counter the euphoria started to wear off when I realized I'd seen this product somewhere cheaper online...sure enough checked Rural King. Tractor supply 259.99, Rural King 179.99. That's a considerable difference, it wasn't on sale or some specialty clearance, just the everyday price. That's where Tractor and I parted ways and I headed to Rural King. I am ready to buy Tractor, I need things you have! But I will not succumb to your prices. read more

Every time I go to this store which is weekly for dog supplies, they are always out! This has to be a management issue. Never do they have the dog food I am wanting in stock. Always sold out. Then go to the treats and shelves...again empty! I have not returned to this store in because of this. I now go to Rural King. Stock your shelves and I will return...Poor management! Cashiers..friendly and helpful probably because they don't have to lift all the dog food I was going to buy but cant because they don't have any in stock that week but always told the truck might have some on it. I was surprised to see this place with just two stars so I thought I would leave a review. the staff has always been helpful and I am so excited that it is close and I don't have to drive to Shelbyville to shop. They tend to have what I'm after and the service hasn't let me down. I have wanted so much to like the hardware store here because it is local but I have always had bad experiences.
