It is a very nice well stocked store with competitive prices. They are conveniently located out on the new Commerce Parkway. They have a full range of services from Hardware, Lumber, Paint and a Design Center. They even have a Design Team that can help you plan you projects. I had been looking for wooden stakes for my recently planted tomato plants. This was the only place near la Grange I could find that had them in stock. The staff, especially Brian, is very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. I look forward to being a regular customer here.

This is an independent franchise so I get to support a local business while still having a great selection and competitive pricing. Customer win on multiple levels. I needed to go in for an outside drainage solution before the rain hit. I went in by myself and the folks behind the counter collaborated with me to find a price-friendly solution that fit my needs and was simple to install. I never felt intimidated (unfortunately that's still a reality in some places) and would have no problem going back for my next project (and there is ALWAYS a next project...). PS - the person behind the counter (owner?) was explaining to me that they get a really great deal on paint, a white label brand of the expensive stuff at a steady ~20% off. In case that's a project YOU are ready to start, definitely check these guys out.

For me, it's the closest thing to a hardware store without taking a trek (ok, there's Watts), they have all of our pet food, offer propane refills, and heck, I've even rented their trailer. It was 20 bucks-way cheaper than uhaul and way more convenient. If you think the prices are too high--well they price match. It's not a big deal, just show them the item on a competitors website.

My wife and I arrived at the store around 7:15 PM to pick up a few items, including some things from the nursery. We had recently purchased an EGO mower for $899 and were considering adding a blower. While in-store, we noticed a promotion on blowers that included a free battery, so we decided to move forward with the purchase. Because both the blower and battery were locked up--and we had just come from Costco with frozen items--I asked my wife to have an associate assist while I grabbed something I needed on the far end of the store. She was eventually helped and given both the blower and a battery. We proceeded to check out in the garden center and waited a few minutes in line. At checkout, I mentioned the battery should be free, but the associate said the promotion wasn't working in the system. After briefly trying to resolve it, he found the promotion online but realized the battery we were given was the wrong one. Trying to be helpful and mindful of the growing line, I offered to go grab the correct battery myself. Since everything was locked, the associate gave me a paper with a number and said a manager would meet me promptly. I went to the aisle and waited about 10 minutes with no assistance before going to the service desk for help. Eventually, I was connected with a manager, Keith, who did help get the correct battery and walked back with me to checkout. At that point, I assumed my original transaction had been paused or my items set aside given the circumstances. Instead, I was told to get back in line--which had grown significantly. After already spending close to 30 minutes resolving an issue that was not my fault, being sent to the back of the line felt dismissive and frustrating. I understand that issues happen, and I appreciate the individuals who tried to help along the way. However, the overall handling--particularly the lack of urgency and resolution at the end--was disappointing. As a small business owner who regularly spends money at big box stores, I typically choose based on convenience. Experiences like this will influence those decisions moving forward.

I had 8 cabinets (two of which were 84in tall) and an 8ft counter top. Jaret and Ron helped me take these large cabinets off the high shelves, place them on a cart, and wheeled them to the front for me. Unfortunately, the experience at the counter left a lot to be desired. The employees I dealt with weren't very friendly or helpful when it came to getting the truck rented. A little better customer service would have made the experience much better. Overall, the rental got the job done, but the customer service at the counter could definitely use some improvement.

The garden center offered baskets of petunias, begonias and impatients. Several outdoor and garden related needs were on sale, some as much as B1G1. We left with a full basket of flowers, soil, weed killer, paint supplies, and decor. We used the self checkout. Fairly easy and an associate was nearby to assist. Excited to plant my new items!

I let him know I can't do that early, and he was extremely rude, giving attitude. He kept saying he had nothing else to do and needed to come now. I said I need to keep the 1 pm appointment. He said he might be there or he would try to be there. I said you can either be there or not so which is it. He said I can't be there and told me to call the company if you have an issue with it.
