It is a very nice well stocked store with competitive prices. They are conveniently located out on the new Commerce Parkway. They have a full range of services from Hardware, Lumber, Paint and a Design Center. They even have a Design Team that can help you plan you projects. I had been looking for wooden stakes for my recently planted tomato plants. This was the only place near la Grange I could find that had them in stock. The staff, especially Brian, is very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. I look forward to being a regular customer here.

My wife and I arrived at the store around 7:15 PM to pick up a few items, including some things from the nursery. We had recently purchased an EGO mower for $899 and were considering adding a blower. While in-store, we noticed a promotion on blowers that included a free battery, so we decided to move forward with the purchase. Because both the blower and battery were locked up--and we had just come from Costco with frozen items--I asked my wife to have an associate assist while I grabbed something I needed on the far end of the store. She was eventually helped and given both the blower and a battery. We proceeded to check out in the garden center and waited a few minutes in line. At checkout, I mentioned the battery should be free, but the associate said the promotion wasn't working in the system. After briefly trying to resolve it, he found the promotion online but realized the battery we were given was the wrong one. Trying to be helpful and mindful of the growing line, I offered to go grab the correct battery myself. Since everything was locked, the associate gave me a paper with a number and said a manager would meet me promptly. I went to the aisle and waited about 10 minutes with no assistance before going to the service desk for help. Eventually, I was connected with a manager, Keith, who did help get the correct battery and walked back with me to checkout. At that point, I assumed my original transaction had been paused or my items set aside given the circumstances. Instead, I was told to get back in line--which had grown significantly. After already spending close to 30 minutes resolving an issue that was not my fault, being sent to the back of the line felt dismissive and frustrating. I understand that issues happen, and I appreciate the individuals who tried to help along the way. However, the overall handling--particularly the lack of urgency and resolution at the end--was disappointing. As a small business owner who regularly spends money at big box stores, I typically choose based on convenience. Experiences like this will influence those decisions moving forward.

Price was right on most of the items we wanted plus there was a sale. However, service was terrible! I counted at least 10 staff members walk by us, not one asked if we needed help or even looked at us, not one. One guy actually was working behind us, knew we were debating products & he never looked at us or offered to help. I don't expect people to drip service but at least greet or acknowledge our presence. We walked out & will not return.

So much more unique than purchasing the basic concrete options at the big box store. They supply you with wagons to put your selections in and at the pay station is a scale to weigh your rocks. Cost varies by type of stone and you pay by the pound. I selected different rocks and colors, filling up the wagon. It was only $35 so I went back and filled up another wagon. Besides every type of style of rock you could imagine for your gardens, ponds, and landscaping, they also offer mulch. Delivery is available for a fee. The guys working here were so polite and helpful. I appreciated them looking up information for me and letting me browse as long as I wanted. It's not a bad idea to bring gloves while you're shopping and plastic for your car if you plan to leave with materials. Take a peek behind their check out building. There's a pond with river rock, fish and a couple of turtles. I'll definitely be returning for more garden projects this year and highly recommend this business.
