In arriving at this place, don't let the small store front fool you. While not very wide, it's deep (almost makes one think they're entering a tunnel). Upon walking into the store, I was greeted almost immediately by an elderly gentleman (possibly the owner). Like other Antique shops, this one too is divided into "little rooms". But, was very clean. When…read morecoming here you will notice that the store is not all that well organized; stuff is kind of strewn around based on department. There is really no floor staff, so you are on your own there; but the cashiers are really friendly and do an excellent job at keeping the line moving. For years now when I have came to Milledgeville my wife has dragged me in here, and i usually find something i like and buy it.

The "stockers" do not answer questions about items. As we were told." we only stock, not help customers". The cashiers ask if you have a TJ Maxx card.. When you say no they do not ask if you want one. Prices right for items that you might be looking for. Store is clean.

I had not planned on stopping by here so soon. But, after Larry and his helper came by yesterday to…read morepick up some items that I donated, I had to get a receipt for tax purposes. I called them on Monday, and informed Larry that I had a recliner, full size adjustable bed and a few shirts to donate. But, would they be able to do a pick-up? And, though it took a few days (as expected), Larry called me late yesterday morning to let me know that he could come by around 1. After agreeing that the time would work, he showed up at about 1:06. Unfortunately, and because of the recliner, they couldn't get the bed into the truck. So, they took the recliner, and came back a little later for the bed. Today, I stopped by to see the place, and get a receipt. Now, don't expect this thrift shop to be on the level of Goodwill Industries. Like the small town of Mville, this shop is small. And, is only open 10-4, Monday thru Friday. But, they do have a nice selection of clothes, books and dishes. But, not much in the way of furniture.

Clothes, household, and much misc. Fairly organized but not super clean. Good prices.read more
