Luckily for us I called Chambers Appliance Sales & Service and left a voicemail for Mr. Ron Chambers on Sunday 10/12/25. And within 3 days he had gotten us a new element and installed it. The mall is on the northwest corner of the US441 and Roberson road intersection. It is a mall so parking is not a problem. The Bath and Body works store is pretty much in the center of the mall. This chain opened in 1990 in Albany, Ohio and this is one of their 1900 stores. The store offers a variety of lotions, sprays, bath soaps, and candles. Their prices may be high but get on their mailing list and they will send out coupons that offer good discounts like buy-one-get-one-free, free gifts, or 20% off. At visits to other stores, we have been greeted upon entering the store and offered help by a staff member. The same thing happened here. They greeted us on entering and asked if we needed help. The baskets are usually located as you enter the store and I would recommend that you pick one up as you will probably need it. There are testers so that you can try the various scents before buying. The store was clean and the displays were very well done, from the design to the color variation. Checkout was at the very back of the store. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I recommend visiting this place to anyone needing some wonderful scents in various forms.

In addition to previous maintenance requests being ignored (another story all together), and after…read morenearly 10 hours of trying to get a hold of someone from the Property Management Company on a Saturday, I finally got a return phone call a little after 6:00P.M My a/c had been leaking intermittently since April 27th. And of course, it decided to let loose (about 150 sq ft is under water) on a Saturday morning. Unfortunately, the a/c guy wasn't able to get out here (it got up to 89 (Sunday morning, up to 96 :-o ) inside; but much better than the 107, when my a/c went out last June in Arizona). But, luckily, the Water Resteoration people were. After getting another phone call from a representative from the PM Co. representative telling me that the Water Restoration people would be here within the hour, I was a bit sceptical. But, sure enough, after about 55 minutes, I heard the warning beep of a commercial vehicle backing up. When, I opened the door, sure enough, the Service Utility Van from the company was backing into a space, in front of my Apartment. 8-) I showed the service tech, Jordan, what the leak looked like 2 days earlier. And, when he stepped walked into the hallway, I think he was a bit surprised to see so much water on the floor (thank goodness I didn't have carpeting!). He got to work, and got the water sucked up. The company keeps their vehicles looking very nice; both inside, and out. Jordan was very nice, and professional. And, had the water cleaned up in about 15 minutes. He also put in 5 blowers, and a dehumidifier (Whew! The one time where I'm glad I have a severe hearing problem with those things running). Unfortunately, the a/c kept leaking. And, due to blowers, there's a good amount of water in both bedrooms. And, a little bit in the hallway. Luckily, he gave me his card. So, ill be calling the main number in just a minute (about 5:37 A.M. on a Sunday morning; let's see how responsive the company is). Update: Well, it took a little longer this morning, as Jordan, Operations Manager & co-owner) came out himself. Unfortunately, he said that there shouldn't be that much water coming out (sucked up about 20 gallons last night). So, he decided to not to suck up the Water :-(, and wants to hear what the a/c guy says. He's also going to contact the Property Manager to get the a/c guy out here ASAP (as of 10:53, still hasn't shown).

UPDATE: 3/6/2018-- was contacted via Facebook telling me that my Review was unfair and scathing…read more Was told that our Inspector reported mutually on our behalf that "everything was good". Was asked to remove my review. My review was then hidden from their Business page. No business gets all 5 star reviews all the time. As first time Home Buyers, we knew that our Home Inspection was an essential and one of the most important parts of the process and were recommended to NPI. The set up for the appointment was easy. The Inspector was on time for the appointment. The extensive report of 20+ pages provided information, some we were aware of and some that we were not. We discovered after a little bit that some of our outlets in the kitchen did not work. Provided the 'warranty' on the inspection, I contacted NPI about the issue. At first, I was told how I should troubleshoot the issue; all things we did prior to calling. ("There's no real way we will know what is causing the outlets to not work because we can't see the wires running in the walls") We were told our Inspector would come back out to the house. When he arrived, we were told 'not all the outlets are checked' and that he was going to change them out, because 'I like you, you're a nice guy'. One of the two outlets he changed out, one of the contacts wasn't fully connected, and burn/heat marks were visible- and in our eyes, a potential fire hazard that we thankfully prevented. Upon moving into our home, we noticed that there was a hole in the bathtub. This wasn't notated in our inspection and was somehow overlooked. After several attempts to contact the Inspector were left unanswered, we contacted our Realtor and asked for his assistance in the matter. Our inspector came back to the house and let us know that he would have to go through his personal report to see if he documented the hole. The first time the inspector came out he filled the hole with epoxy. We were told to let it dry and not use it for a bit, totally fine with us. He said he'd come back in a week and paint the spot. He came back after pushing the appointment back a few times, and painted some paint on the epoxy that didn't match the tub at all. We let him know that it wasn't ok. He came back a week later and did it again. Said that he'd come back again after that and paint it again. After he finally came back and painted the spot again, he told us that it would more than likely need another coating of paint, because things will dry a little darker than they are applied. He said that he would call us and verify if we wanted him to come back out, etc. We never heard from him again. As a first time home buyer, this process felt a little less than was expected. I paid several hundred dollars for an Inspection, and it felt like once my money was taken, any request or need was placed on the back burner in terms of who got helped first. (he said on more than one occasion that he was the only one working in the area and that was why we just didn't hear from him). Had the hole in the bathtub been seen, we could've renegotiated a new bathtub into our home purchase. But now, in the future, we'll have to replace it ourselves. A master bath sink has a fairly large crack in it that went undocumented, but the stopper was notated. It made us feel like we shouldn't even 'waste time' contacting the Inspector about the issues when we were made to feel like our 'issues' weren't really 'his issues'. Make sure you do your own inspection of your home, too. Check for the little details that may be overlooked. Because in the end down the road, you're going to be the one paying for those things that were overlooked.

Scheduling the appointment was equally as easy. They were able to accommodate my wife and I's busy schedule, the sellers still occupying the house, and the fact that we were only going to be passing through town to be present! All that being said, it still gets down to the inspection, and they certainly exceeded all of our expectations. Clint did a wonderful job, taking pictures of every issue found, discussing them in detail with us, and even recommending some contractors he knew that would do a solid job fixing them. As someone who didn't know what was important and what wasn't important, I feel like he did an amazing job helping us through understanding each of the issues found (and told us to call if we had questions down the road). In addition, I feel like he found absolutely every issue the house had. The sellers, who are friends of ours, even remarked that they wish they would have used him to inspect the property when they had bought it! To top it all off, the price was exceptionally reasonable for the level of service we received. We trusted them so much, we asked them to reinspect the property after the seller made the repairs - and again they exceeded our expectations. They were accommodating with the schedule, thorough, and very reasonably priced. Overall, this business is a shining example of outstanding customer service, exceptional quality, and fair pricing. If we ever buy another house in the Middle Georgia area, they will be our first and only call.
