I told him what I was interested in and he took the time to show me several mowers that would work for my needs. He explained the differences in each one and the pros and cons of each. He also showed me the service area of the facility. I ended up purchasing a Husqvarna 48in for my needs. The price was good, as I also received a 10% discount for being retired law enforcement (they also do the same for military). I would recommend giving them a look before you buy from a big box store that just sell and does not service the equipment. If i do need any warranty/service work, I can take it directly to the store for service. They also have a 0% financing promotion. Clay really seems to know his products, and takes the time to explain the equipment and what will help keep it going for a long time. Hopefully I will get many years of use from my equipment. On the first call they accused him of using bad gas and then said they would pick it back up. They never came. On the next three days he called, they said they would come every afternoon but showed up on none of them. After 5 days of not being able to mow our lawn someone finally showed up and oops, they had given us the wrong key. They brought our mower back, not repaired by the way, and charged us $85. For what??!! We received absolutely nothing from them except pain and lost time. Now we still have mower that doesn't work and grass that isn't mowed!

I researched how to replace the transaxle myself. I bought one for $730 with shipping. While researching how to change it myself I found out all that was wrong with my tractor was a axle key was missing. An 86 cent axle key fixed my tractor. I had to pay a 20% restocking fee $140 and $60 to ship it back. Counting the $30 that it cost to ship the new transaxle to me I had $230 invested in a bad diagnosis. The people working in sales and parts as well as the service manager are great friendly people. The service tech has retired that made my bad diagnosis. I did get to give a couple of gospel tracts out. That could be why I was supposed to be there.

The person stated they could get it pretty quick since is was just a basic service, especially the mower was brand new this past July. 4/02/26: Brought the Toro around 2pm for the service. Asked again about the length of repair and again, it was shared that it should be a few days for the basic (oil, gas, sharpen blades, etc) service. Agreed that it should be completed by mid next week. 4/09/26. Called and talked with someone on their counter and they said they didn't see it ready, but would check on it and let me know asap. 4/11/26: after not reaching anyone about my mower, I drove to their business and was actually trying to find my mower. A person (this was who told me later that he was the General Manager) looked for it, couldn't find it and decided to check the system. He said my mower was dropped off on 4/9 - just two days ago - and it will take anywhere from 10-14 days to repair it. I stated it was dropped off on 4/2, not 4/9..which the GM argued with me on the facts. Given that, decided to just take my mower elsewhere. after the GM helped me load the mower in my truck, it was then the GM told me that he was upset with me calling him a liar. Would NEVER say that and call me done with this company...forever.

Three experiences... 1) Asked about buying a "half scoop" of mulch because I have a small truck, and that fills it. Noticed I was rung up for 1.6 cu yd (without warning) and was told it's because they "cannot measure exactly". So, apparently they're sure they always go a little over, I guess. Eventually, I decided they can charge what they like, and the 20-something just wasn't courteous enough to explain in advance, or in a better way. Shoot, they can charge $1 for a scoop and $0.99 for a half if they like, right? 2) Was quoted $35 for 4 hrs with a tiller (I think. it was a tiller), and when I returned, I was charged $75. I pointed at the 20-something who had given me the quote and explained that she had quoted $35. The new 20-something, basically said, "well, she was wrong. Too bad." 3) Today, asked for a 1/2 scoop of compost (quoted $65/scoop). Charged $48, without explanation. I declined because apparently the policy is to charge 7/10 of a scoop for 1/2 scoop. So, the issue in #1 above has worsened. They used to charge 1.6 for 1.5 cu yd. Now they charge 2.1 for 1.5 cu yd. I usually root loudly for local businesses, but this one seems to consider it a privilege for you to shop there.
