    Master of her craft!

This review is LONG overdue, but Tracy is phenomenal! Taking professional photos can be daunting, but Tracy has a way of making the experience pure fun and effortless. She has an incredible eye for the perfect shot, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get it, even if that involves getting knee deep in water at the beach or sandy from head to toe (speaking from personal experience, here!). My fiance and I felt totally at ease and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Tracy was quick to get us the photos without sacrificing quality. I would highly recommend her as a photographer for any and all of life's most special occasions

Tracy is such a wonderful photographer! We are obsessed with our photos! She really cares about you as a couple and treats you like a friend. When she was shooting our photos, she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed which in turn made our photos even more magical! I couldn't recommend her more! We love Tracy!!!

Tracy Rinehart is EVERYTHING. Tracy shot my wedding on November 9, 2019 at The Ruby Street in Highland Park. As other reviewers have said, Tracy is a complete joy to work with. Not only does she have an eye for capturing special moments, she has a way of putting everyone at ease. She understood our family dynamics right away and knew exactly how to keep things moving, get people where she needed them to be, and get the best out of everyone--all at once. She is an incredible organizer and communicator on top of being a dynamic photographer. All of these qualities make her a force when it comes to shooting weddings. By working with someone is so friendly, kind, and on top of things, I think it put my family and friends at ease which you can totally see in the photos. We were on the fence about doing a first look--not because we wanted to wait to see each other but I just wasn't sure it was something we needed/I can't really remember why now? Tracy encouraged us to do it (we had a great location next to our hotel--the Pasadena Courthouse), and these have become some of my favorite photos from the day. After the flurry of getting ready all morning and the rollercoaster of emotions, seeing my soon to be husband for the first time, crying together, and realizing what the day was really about was so special and really set the tone for us for the rest of the day. I am so thankful to Tracy that she gently encouraged us to do the first look. And all of that emotion and love is captured in her photos. Lastly, in the month since the wedding, our parents and wedding party have brought up Tracy's name so many times. The text messages and comments from friends I receive about how wonderful she was are numbering in the dozens. Without trying, she made such a lasting impression on so many people just by being herself. And a big shoutout to her second shooter Stacee who was equally as lovely and professional. They are a great duo. Thank you, Tracy! You are an angel.

Tracy is one of a kind! After researching and emailing multiple photographers, we instantly knew when we had a meet up consultation that she was different. She is very personable, honest, direct, and has a very natural and gorgeous photography style. And the thing that we loved most is how passionate she is about her work. Tracy has done our engagement, boudoir and wedding photos. And I'm sure many more things in the future! We have received so many compliments from family and friends of her work. We never have had professional pictures taken and we are awkward behind the camera, she is so good at making you feel comfortable and turning the experience into something fun! On the day of our wedding she worked her tail off! Our photos are so special, beautiful and we have one of kind shots to remember our perfect day for a lifetime and we have Tracy to thank! I highly recommend her services to everyone! You won't regret it!

She was so gracious and patient and helped me select the cutest gown in her collection. She then did our newborn photos - our baby was born one week before the COVID shutdown. While she could have cancelled, she did not. She accommodated and took all the precautions necessary, even before any of else knew anything about COVID. One very last piece of important information is that I accidentally lost all the digital files of both our maternity and newborn photos. I desperately texted her and she communicated back despite being super busy. Ended up recovering those very very very special photos thanks to her. Went back to her for Christmas photos this year and simply put.... She is an extremely talented photographer. You will not regret booking with her.

She has been able to capture the best memories for us that we will cherish forever. She has the amazing talent of somehow making both of my kids smile and look at the camera at the same time! Her fun energy has my kids always excited to go see her and take pictures. She collaborates with others to make the photos perfect- makeup/hair, and cakes! I also love that she has a large supply of baby outfits and headbands - and she would style the babies so cute! We moved away 3 years ago, yet still drive an hour and a half to work with her because she is the best! Thank you Eva for capturing amazing memories that we will cherish always.

Truth be told....I write this with a bit of a tear in my eye....not to get too melodramatic over a…read moreyelp review....but pictures...when done perfect and if your in a particular sentimental mood....can have that effect. Some backstory...Imagix/Michelle has done our yearly photos for our son from ages 1 to now 5. (See my past reviews). From somehow capturing a perfect moment from our perpetually moving blur of a son (ages 1-3) to patiently instructing four 70/80 year olds on how to hold their aforementioned 4 year old Tasmanian Devil grandson last year, Michelle is a magician/artist...I always leave the photoshoot stressed from the chaos Hurricane Daniel (our son) leaves in his wake....But every year we come back to look at the proofs and are amazed at Michelle ability to capture "lighting in a bottle" . This year was no different. Fortunately we survived the terrible 2's (...3's....4's....) and thanks to time, maturity, and the opposite of gentle parenting, our little Daniel, though far from perfect, is manageable. But we didn't want to make it too easy for Michelle, so we threw in another variable. After a recent canine cancer scare, and recently learning from Google that all dogs, however loyal and cute, unfortunately have an inescapable life, span, I somehow convinced my beautiful but camera shy wife that this is the year we do a family photo with our dog. Some more backstory, if you read this far, our Yorkie, Libby, loves us but HATES the rest of the world. She spent the entire hour photoshoot in perpetual scowl and Volume 11 non stop bark. One week later as she always does, lighting in a bottle perfection. I looked at the proofs with amazement. Our son, we expected....she's done it every year, but how she made a loud perpetual yapping bark into a impossibly cute smile is above my skill set. But I think her greatest feat is how she lessened the "he must be rich" looks gap between my wife and I. My wife is easy, even me with my amateur Android skills, it's hard for her to take a bad picture. Michelle mastery came with how she elevated me to "he must be funny" looks gap level. So why the tear? We loved one of the pics so much we purchased a large framed canvas print to hang on our living room wall. My 85 year old happened to be in town for his grandsons 5th bday so I asked him for an helping hand hanging the picture. I figured he has these family portrait hanging at my childhood home. My brother and I with our full head of hair and my mom shoulder pads captured the 90's to a tee...but what I always remember is the "proud" look my dad had on his face. A look of accomplishment shouting "look at me world and all that I love and created". Watching my aging dad struggle, listing to my aging dog bark in a locked room to protect my dad's ankles, I was suddenly reminded that time, as much as you want to hit pause, always moves forward. It's a good idea to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, look at the snapshot/memories/moments and take it all in. After my dad handed me the leveler and I put away the hammer, and I looked up....and yeah....I had that "Dad" look

We met her through our wedding venue, Altadena Town & Country Club as a preferred vendor. We are so thankful to have met her because she helped make our wedding extra special by capturing the day beautifully. First, Alexandra has a great personality. She is calm, patient (extremely important on a wedding day), sweet, fun, thoughtful, focused and above all creative!! We feel we got to know her very well over the months that we worked together given that our original wedding date was postponed due to the pandemic. She was every bit of graceful and understanding along the way. Engagement shoot -- We had to reschedule our engagement shoot due to weather conditions and she was flexible and honest about the quality of photos given certain weather/cloud cover. She provided us suggestions on what colors to wear and even helped us make the final call on outfits, which was needed and much appreciated! Wedding -- our wedding photos turned out incredible!! I don't know how her and her assistant Alex did it, but they captured the most perfect and memorable photos for us. It was a very hot day when we got married in August and they were such troppers! They made it seem like the weather was perfect outside. Alex gave us great direction while taking photos and even allowed us at times to be natural, which I believe is what led to such great photos. We definitely needed and appreciated her guidance. At the end of our wedding journey I really felt that Alexandra was like family! If you're looking for a photographer who is easy to work with, talented and will provide you with beautiful, lasting wedding photos.. Alexandra (Kella Photography) should be highly considered!!! Our recommendations to couples -- not just with Kella Photography but any photographer you may choose to use, it is very important to make note before the big day what shots are essential for the two of you to ensure it gets done. We really wanted to have great family & friend photos and our photographers made sure to wrangler the group and make it happen for us. This is quite difficult in general, especially in a pandemic. There are a lot of photographers out there that add filters to images. You know the "pinterest" look. I heavily considered that "look", but after meeting Alex and looking through her website, I realized her photos are classic and timeless which is way better than a filter that will be out of date in the future. I have to make a shoutout to Alexandra's assistant Alex...he went above and beyond for us in many ways throughout the day but one specific incident comes to mind. Given the pandemic I didn't have my bridesmaids at the final dress fitting. In a pinch and to stay on schedule he helped us out with my bustle!! To us... that is not only incredibly sweet but it's professionalism and dedication. Alexandra and Alex were absolutely wonderful photographers and people. We are so grateful to have met them!
