He's EXTREMELY rude. I took my pants here multiple times. Ive had to get them fixed again couple times because the measurements were off and every time he's gets mad. Like how are YOU going to be mad at me for YOU messing up MY pants. These pants mind you at 70+ dollars then I pay you an additional 26 dollars to taper them and make them just a tad shorter I brought my original pants to make sure that they were the same length bc he has messed up MULTIPLE times in the past (mind you I was nice about it. ) he told me he doesn't have time for picky customers and that he has a lot of clothes. Then maybe it's time to pack it up and retire. I understand he's old as hell but your job is to fix my clothes... then to fix the mistakes YOU make because that's what happens when you pay for a service. I got a dress for a trip but needed it to be hemmed (story of my life as a petite gorl). Due to long/inconsistent work hours, I needed a quick turnaround time as well. My friend recommended Mission Alterations because he had previously brought a suit in to get altered. It's located in a small suburban street, in a house as opposed to a storefront. I came by, and met one of the owners, a kind friendly older gentleman. He was efficient and very accommodating about the turnaround time. Luckily, it was a easy hem job with not a lot of fabric that needed to be removed. The quote was very reasonable at $15 or so from what I remember. Gave him a pair of shorts Wednesday to hem one fold- a very simple job as far as tailoring goes... He told me to show up Saturday at 1pm and they will be done. I get there and I don't have the ticket he gave me, and he's very upset and says he has thousands of clothes. After getting angry and nearly accidentally knocking over his antique dresser, he finds the shorts after 2 minutes and they have not even been touched yet. I say here, give me the shorts I'll take them somewhere else and he says good riddance. Wouldn't want any of my people to have to experience this waste of time, gas, money, and deal with the hostility. What if I needed these for a special occasion? I'd be screwed. Also, regarding him being mad I didn't have his little ticket, other tailors just put things in alphabetical order of the clients name so it's easy to find no matter what. read more

Their little shop is out their home which at first I was a little sketched by but once I entered their home/business they make you feel at home. After reading rave reviews about Mission Alterations, I decided to take my bridesmaids dress in for alterations. When I went in to pick up my dress the first time, it was still not fitting as I had hoped so Susan was very insistent (to Greg's reluctance) that a couple more changes be made to ensure I was happy with the fit. When I went in for the final fitting of the dress, I was incredibly disappointed to find that my dress had pieces of thread sticking out on the right side and the left side of my dress was uneven (looking a little bumpy). When I pointed these things out, I was told that "nothing could be done" and that Greg had already worked on my dress for three hours, and his work was worth more than the price I was quoted. I am incredibly disappointed with not only the quality of the alterations, but also the lack of customer service that I received at Mission Alterations. read more
