Long, tons of waiting, ultimately expensive, and a contstant sales pitch that could give you hives! NOT THIS TIME! I had the BEST Verizon staff help me today (Anthony). I want to add, I have been a Verizon customer for almost 30 years!! I have been to the storefront MANY times for many reasons! Anthony was the best! Professional, courteous, SUPER knowledgeable, pleasant AND "present" and overall just wicked efficient! My issue was complicated (porting lines, upgrades, business vs personal accounts, etc.). I went in, and signed up to be helped, walked around for a while, sat down.. finally, someone asks if I've been helped. No. It wasn't that busy. There were 2-3 other people being helped. It was sort of close to closing. I came in an hour before they closed, and waited maybe 20-30 min to be helped (I didn't time it, but I realized later, when the associate said there wasn't enough time to set up a new phone, that it was 8:40!) So, someone asked if I had been helped. No. I told him why I was there, and he went back to get a sales rep. She comes out, and she was unfriendly from the beginning. She seemed like she really didn't want to be helping me. She was condescending, unprofessional, and unpleasant. While we were sitting there talking, another sales rep comes up and has a conversation with her, before saying goodbye. This was not a professional conversation. This was just a homie saying bye to his homie. A quick goodbye is one thing, but to have a conversation with her while she's helping a customer, is unprofessional. Just text her. The entire encounter with her was unpleasant. The main reason I went was to get a new line (phone and AirPad). She sat there on her tablet, did not explain what she was doing, then said 1- there wouldn't be time to do anything tonight (that's when I realized how long I had been there), 2- she didn't even know if they had the phone I wanted (she never even asked me which iPhone I wanted, so what was she checking?) I couldn't wait to leave. I left with nothing, and no desire to return to this store. I would rather drive an hour through bumper to bumper LA traffic to visit another location, than return to this location. What an unpleasant experience. And the fact that this was not my first unpleasant experience tells me that this is just this particular store's culture. I've worked retail. I know we're all human and have our off days, but it's a consistent issue with this store. Highly recommend going elsewhere

    So we finally are nearing the end of Geolinks. Although they got it working, it is working super…read moreslow now. We pay $75 per month for 30 MBPS down / 10MBPS up but only get 17MBPS down and 1.5MBPS up so we are switching to 100MBPS Starlink for $50 per month. All that Geolinks would have needed to do to keep us happy would have been deliver most of the bandwidth that we pay for somewhat consistently. Image below: We have been hitting speeds like this consistently for several days. We called in a ticket and Geolinks promised dispatch which has never called. So another bad Yelp review and we are pretty much fed up. For this image I removed our IP Address and test IDs for privacy but the speeds are exactly what we are seeing .

Many people left, including an older woman who had waited for about an hour just to cancel a service for her family. The staff member turned her away because the account holder wasn't present, and didn't try to offer any alternative solutions. She left frustrated. They really need more staff on weekends to support customers. Now I understand why the rating is what it is. We waited almost 40 minutes just to return equipment from our old house, and the actual return process took less than five minutes. There should be a faster system for simple equipment returns -- even just scanning a code like Amazon would make it much more efficient..

    Everyone knows Spectrum is not customer focused. The company has a reputation for making even…read moresimple things unnecessarily exhausting, especially around account ownership, equipment returns, and deaths. The Spectrum store is particularly frustrating, where many things customers reasonably expect to accomplish simply are not possible. Retail stores refuse returns unless someone is an authorized user, while UPS can process the exact same equipment by serial number with no issue. The inconsistency, lack of compassion, and endless runaround create unnecessary stress for people already dealing with difficult situations. Avoid Spectrum if at all possible.
