It wasn't until I called to cancel my service that suddenly I heard, "We have a great offer for you. We think we can help." Unfortunately, by that point, I had already switched providers. I switched to GigabitNow Fiber, which offered me a much better deal along with faster, high-speed internet. I encourage everyone to shop around and find what works best for you. A company shouldn't wait until you're ready to leave before suddenly offering to help, especially when you've already reached out multiple times.

A nice scam is what gives...now they want you to purchase repeaters to boost your signal! NICE! Shell out more money for a service you are already paying for? I think not! If you have the old routers, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT trade them in for the "NEW AND IMPROVED VERSION"! They are a piece of crap! I signed up for Fios in June 2012 and this is September 2012 and I'm on my third router! Happy customer, definitely not! And the only thing they keep telling me is "I am so sorry.". Well I am so sorry too that I ever signed up with Verizon Fios! YOU SUCK!! So get off your asses and do something, like go back to the old routers.....or wait better yet, put in the repeaters as part of your customer service free of charge, on the so called NEW AND IMPROVED routers. No appointment, and we didn't have to wait at all…read more We went into this Verizon store because we had a problem with getting Account Managers added to our family plan. Found out that some data changed on the Verizon mobile app and website (like who the Account Managers are) doesn't sync with the system the Verizon stores use. This is, I'm sure, one of the many frustrations that cause Verizon customers to write one-star reviews (over 7k Trustpilot reviews average to 1.3 out of 5) ... see photo attached. But this review is not about that. It is about Jesus, who "helped" us with adding Account Managers that we had already added via the mobile app. "Helped" is in quotes because while he did start out helping us, after muttering "this is taking too long" he handed us off to a Verizon service rep over the phone to complete the task. Because there were other customers to help? No. After he handed us off he went to chat with his fellow sales rep buddies. A well-earned one-star rating.

I placed an order for a phone to pickup at this store specifically because it was a store relatively close to me that had "24/7 pickup" through lockers. I received an email within a few hours of placing the order that said "Good news, your order is ready. It's available 24/7 for pick up by you or any of your Account Managers. " Great! Everything on track. So I show up at 9 pm and.... the store is closed, as expected. But what's unexpected is that the lockers are locked IN THE STORE, behind the security gate. It's not 24/7 and it's a completely dishonest approach they're taking. I spoke to a CS representative via chat and she says "I can confirm that this available for pickup 24/7" but that I should pick it up tomorrow because the store is closed. Either Verizon is intentionally dishonest or unfortunately stupid but either way, they're scummy and do not tell the truth... ever. Plenty of other competition in the market that offers much better pricing... maybe they're dishonest too, as I'm not sure, but at least they're not committing highway robbery with each monthly bill.

So I figured it all out myself and if they had just walked around the house, they would've noticed a previous DIRECTV install bracket (already bolted into the house) that they could've used. I sent them a picture of it and they said they couldn't use it. But I'm literally writing this review from StarLink that I set up myself. For free! ! I've now got the entire thing setup by myself, and simply have to go to Home Depot in the morning and buy a few small things to make everything look neat. Most simple install ever. They did not research the project or even look at the height of my home. Super disappointing ! It's like any other business. When they get really busy, you' really find out how good they are at managing things.
