Pretty pissed off. Came into the store for an iPad that I had to finance. While the rep Who was helping me was quickly explaining going thru everything and saying sign here sign here, didn't explain anything and rushed thru everything. He went to the back to get the iPad and came out with a SIM card as well too. He said it was a gift from Verizon for being such a loyal customer and it's a sim that I can just put into any phone and be charged $5 per month for if I decide to use it. I thought this was odd. He then told me to sign something else, and quickly rushed me out. Then my bill came ... I'm being charged for another phone line I NEVER AUTHORIZED, being charged for an iPhone SE that I DO NOT OWN. After showing up 30 minutes before closing and signing up at the kiosk and waited for my turn until 5 minutes before closing when I approached an employee to call a manager. She pointed him out and he had the nerve to tell me he is leaving and wouldn't be able to help me and it's better if I come the next day. I told him my commute is far and my time and has been wasted. He couldn't care less and repeated his BS line "I understand but there is nothing I can do". Zero star for customer service. It sucks that I can get no one at Verizon to help resolve my problem that their inadequate system has created out of error. For no reason they want to charge me for a service I have never ordered (unauthorized order) and they keep sending me bills. I've downloaded their app but it won't allow me to login (gives wrong number error), and when I call their 800 customer service number, it hangs up saying "your number might be with other subscribers, please contact your own mobile provider", Arggggggg.... So frustrating. I went to a local Verizon office and they tell me "our system isn't setup to access your info and you must go to a corporate office". The worst Verizon experience I've ever had. Came in April 28 and bought an Apple Watch 42mm in store. I left with my new watch and three day later, I received another one in the mail. During this time, the Apple Watch I bought in store was not working. Apparently, they assigned the watch in the mail to be paired with my phone. I returned to the store on May 5th and advised them that they ordered me an extra watch and messed up on the activation. I told them that we needed to return the watch I bought in store and activate the watch I received in the mail. What did they do? They had me return the watch I got in the mail... realized they messed up and then made me return the watch I bought in store. I ended up leaving the store with no watch and the worst experience and waste of time ever. Keep in mind all of this was done by a regular employee and his manager. read more

Waste of time getting help & answers. A rep had me talk to someone by ph. I could have and did many times, but it wasn't pleasant. Got a better price by a rep on the ph.; seemed authentic, but when I mentioned the price to others, they said, no way. Rep at store said, there's no contract for that price, so it's not possible. First rep and others, quoted me a price of $71.86; didn't tell me until the end of the call, that it'd be $81.86 if no auto pay. Now I'm quoted by email an ongoing price of $91.+. I've gotten so frustrated and stressed, I've had many bad headaches. One thing typical of sales ppl, is deceptive info., to get you. Maybe they shouldn't get commissions. Other reps give me different info; all the ph companies. I'm sick of it. Re this particular store, no good vibes. They just say what's required. Felt no empathy. Long, tons of waiting, ultimately expensive, and a contstant sales pitch that could give you hives! NOT THIS TIME! I had the BEST Verizon staff help me today (Anthony). I want to add, I have been a Verizon customer for almost 30 years!! I have been to the storefront MANY times for many reasons! Anthony was the best! Professional, courteous, SUPER knowledgeable, pleasant AND "present" and overall just wicked efficient! My issue was complicated (porting lines, upgrades, business vs personal accounts, etc.). I ordered 3 Phones for in-store pickup at the Verizon Topanga store, (Total Order Almost $4,000 with Tax). I called the store 12 minutes before closing and asked if it was ok to come pick up order, and that I would be arriving about 1 minute before closing. The rep confirmed they were ready for pickup and said sure head on over. I arrived and was standing at the LOCKED front door 1 minute before closing. There was a store rep in the window who ignored me and walked away. When a customer was leaving the store and the door was opened a rep with the ipad came over and said he couldn't help me, even though I got there BEFORE closing, they locked the door early AND then ignored me. I provided the details, who I spoke with and a few other employees who were all just telling me to leave. I asked to speak to the manager and they all said he was in the back and not a single employee of the 3 who were trying to get rid of me even attempted to go get him. They all kept saying the system was closed , they couldn't release the order and the phones were now supposedly locked up. I expressed my disappointment and the fact that they were going out of their way NOT to provide customer service after closing the store early and refusing to give me my order. As I was leaving I said, cancel the order I am done. Guess what, less than two minutes later I received the order cancellation emails. Wow, I guess the ipad in the reps hand was NOT actually off and he chose to cancel the order, (The Store lost a $4,000 sale) just to NOT provide customer service and cancel the order instead of delivering the order. Verizon, Tati (Store Manager) we really need to do better, this is not acceptable and the individuals involved need some coaching. I've been to this location a few times and it has been hit or miss. I went last night, and it was definitely a miss. I went in, and signed up to be helped, walked around for a while, sat down.. finally, someone asks if I've been helped. No. It wasn't that busy. There were 2-3 other people being helped. It was sort of close to closing. I came in an hour before they closed, and waited maybe 20-30 min to be helped (I didn't time it, but I realized later, when the associate said there wasn't enough time to set up a new phone, that it was 8:40!) So, someone asked if I had been helped. No. I told him why I was there, and he went back to get a sales rep. She comes out, and she was unfriendly from the beginning. She seemed like she really didn't want to be helping me. She was condescending, unprofessional, and unpleasant. While we were sitting there talking, another sales rep comes up and has a conversation with her, before saying goodbye. This was not a professional conversation. This was just a homie saying bye to his homie. A quick goodbye is one thing, but to have a conversation with her while she's helping a customer, is unprofessional. Just text her. The entire encounter with her was unpleasant. The main reason I went was to get a new line (phone and AirPad). She sat there on her tablet, did not explain what she was doing, then said 1- there wouldn't be time to do anything tonight (that's when I realized how long I had been there), 2- she didn't even know if they had the phone I wanted (she never even asked me which iPhone I wanted, so what was she checking?) I couldn't wait to leave. I left with nothing, and no desire to return to this store. I would rather drive an hour through bumper to bumper LA traffic to visit another location, than return to this location. What an unpleasant experience. And the fact that this was not my first unpleasant experience tells me that this is just this particular store's culture. I've worked retail. Waited 30 minutes checked the screen and my check in was deleted no one helped me. They only help you if you are buying something? Mike and George are AWESOME! I am having a bit of a horrible week and I am unable to get to the store to pay my bill. The app and going to Verizon site has NOT been working the past three months. I called the store and asked if there was anyway to pay it over the phone. Mike was so kind and patient. My assistant went to Verizon for me without my phone to pay my bill. Enter George equally as nice and he and Mike helped with the entire situation. Took maybe 10/12 min. This may seem like nothing. Maybe you're thinking it's their job. I have at&t and T mobile. If I walk into a t mobile store they usually ask me to go to a different store because they can't help me with whatever it is I need. Two different stores in Los Angeles and one near San Diego. Having to wait an hour only to be told they can't assist you and it happens more than once-this is a big deal to me. A few years ago I left my phone at a hotel. The hotel was a bit away from me so it would take several days before I had time to get it. I called Verizon (back in the day when you could actually talk to a human even though it took an hour on the phone ) and asked to put my number on stand by. They did. When I retrieved the phone several days later I called and asked if they could unfreeze the number. No I had to go into a store to do it. So I go to a Verizon store and they tell me I could not turn it on unless I went to headquarters. They didn't know where one was?! Really-?!?!?! A long store short it took me literally a three weeks. I called so many times and talked to various agents. I went to a few stores in La and the one in Las Vegas -nope. Finally on like my 5-6th frustrated call because you had to wait an hour plus to get a human on the phone back then a very nice woman told me what store to go to with an address . It was the absolute WORST situation. So walking in to store has not been a positive past time for me. We won't get into when T mobile ported out two of my ACTIVE numbers. One I have never gotten back! And if you are thinking it might be like that for me because perhaps I was rude-I ALWAYS tip whenever they help solve the problem. Always! In early September, I went to the store to purchase an iPhone 16 Pro. As a new customer, I was offered a welcome promotion, and I was told I'd only be paying $5 per month for the phone. Within my 30-day exchange period, I decided to exchange it for the iPhone 17 Pro. The store representative, Rayan, assured me that the same promotion would apply in a few weeks, and that I would only pay $7 per month for the new phone. However, what should have been a simple exchange turned into an exhausting and frustrating ordeal. I had to visit the store over 20 times, constantly being misinformed and sent back and forth between the store and customer service. Each time, both parties kept passing responsibility to one another, wasting an enormous amount of my time and energy. After around 13 visits, the exchange was finally processed. But now, instead of the $7 monthly rate I was promised, I'm being charged $30 per month for the phone. When I went back to the store to resolve this, I spoke again with Rayan, who told me he would apply the offer right away. He then brought his manager, Eric, who told me there was no such offer and that I would have to pay $30 per month for three years. Both of them admitted they gave me wrong information -- and yet, they did absolutely nothing to correct their mistake or even try to make things right. They lied to my face, wasted my time, and treated me like my concerns didn't matter. It's completely unacceptable how they handled this situation -- misleading customers and then offering nothing but a simple "sorry" when caught. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION! Why does it take 15 minutes after checking in to return a phone case, knowing it was the only transaction I had? I timed this visit since the last time, buying the case took an obnoxious amount of time. This time, the entire transaction took 37 seconds. Checking me in and getting my number took 49 seconds. In that time, he could've returned the case. I had to go through 4 stages to return the phone case. 1. Waiting to be acknowledged 3. Waiting 15 minutes 4. This review is for the unsatisfactory experience I had with Anthony. He was inefficient, unhelpful, and created more issues for me than what I walked in with. I came to do a simple phone trade. He went to speak to his manager for a very long time, and when he came out, I suddenly had 3 new promotions added to my account that I did not consent to. I'm not sure what was discussed (likely pushed to sell upgrades and "protection" plans) but it is not right to add expenses without approval. He supposedly could not remove them, and I had to call Verizon when I got home and be on hold with multiple agents in order to fix the charges. During the in-store process, his service was subpar. For example, he didn't tell me about any important info such as being locked in with the contract for a certain amount of time if I proceeded with the upgrade; he only confirmed once I questioned. All of his replies were minimal, as he walked away before even completing his answers; I had to ask multiple follow up questions to get basic facts about the promotion. I went home and did the upgrade myself online for my other family members on the other lines. Not sure why it took Anthony 20 mins to speak to his manager before even starting this process, but It took me a total of 3 mins to do for each one. I regret the immense waste of time I spent in this store, and the displeasure I had of having to deal with Anthony. I cannot remember his name, but there was another gentleman who was very informative the next time I went. Hopefully customers will be lucky to be helped by him instead. read more

Oh, Verizon! I had such an easy request - just turning in a trade-in. Did you have to pass me between three different associates, 'cause why bother? Not even the courtesy of introducing me to the next person helping me, just someone else appearing out of the blue to complete the transaction. Then they disappeared. Finally, I received my receipt from a third associate, with no explanation regarding next steps. The first two associates had jumped to other customers, with no consideration for my time and presence. It was a slow day, so even more disappointing. He even gave me his phone number to call should I have problems. I did have a few questions and things needed to be tweaked a bit. He answered my call promptly and resolved the matter by phone, saving me another visit to the store. One week later I purchased a new Apple phone and needed to add it to my account. The folks at the Apple Store tried to do that for me, but created quite the mess. I went back to Eric, and he solved the matter quickly, efficiently, and with a big smile. We had few different issues with our phones which if I try to explain will take a long time and the purpose of this review will be lost. I will just shorten my experience by saying after our couple of very unpleasant visits with other Verizon stores specially the one in Burbank, we received an excellent service at Topanga location with JUAN for our phones complicated issues. The first time (1/5/2026) we greeted professionally by a representative and then we were helped by JUAN for almost 2 hours. Our second time visit ( 1/13/2026) that took more than 3.5 hours with JUAN was as pleasant as the first time. He was patient, knowledgeable, professional and took as much as time as possible to take care of our issues one by one. I am not sure if JUAN is the manager or assistant mgr or just a representative but I am sure people like him keep Verizon in business. We were almost leaving Verizon due to the horrible service we received at Burbank. I give JUAN 100 out of for providing excellent service with his vast knowledge and professionalism. I have a Verizon iPhone and their internet cube. I've had no problems with the internet, but I've had trouble with the phone. This phone is the first time I purchased insurance. Unfortunately, it's the first time I've used the insurance (back replacement) and it is terrible. First of all, it isn't covered by Verizon, it is covered by Asurion, so you can't get any repair done at the Verizon store, you must go to the Asurion store. What is the Asurion store? The Asurion store is the UBreakiFix storefronts you see around town. You'll notice there's a lot less of those than Verizon stores, so just starting out, the repair is less convenient. However, if the part you need is not at the closest store, it will send you to the closest store with your part. I live in Woodland Hills and instead of sending me to the UBreakiFix just a mile or two from me, it made me set up my repair in Van Nuys by the courthouse, nearly 30 mins from me. The reason is, the Woodland Hills store did not have the right parts. I called and asked if they could order the parts, and was told that no, they cannot, and I would have to do the fix in Van Nuys. On top of that, at the Van Nuys location, the wait to simply replace the back was 4+ hours at UBreakiFix, and I was told that this is average; much different than the "average repair is two hours" that Asurion touted when I bought the phone. And Verizon having a contract with them gets you nothing; you're in line with everyone that just walks in from the street because, of course, there's no way to schedule an appointment. The fun part is when I called to get help from Verizon, they threw up their hands and blamed Asurion and said it was all in their hands now. You can't really call Asurion directly, it seems. I wonder why a company would make calling them so difficult? Hmmm... What irritates me so much about Verizon is that I was never explained how bad the insurance system is. It is made to seem that it is quick and easy, when it is nothing like that. I feel like the process is misrepresented. If I was told the details of the insurance and the realities (30 min drives, 4+ hour wait times), I would have absolutely looked into other providers. Verizon has to know that this happens. My question to Verizon is: why can someone in a kiosk at the mall replace the back of my phone in 10 minutes but to go through you I'll have to drive 30 minutes each way and wait 4 hours to have the same thing done? read more

Absolutely the worst mobile carrier you can find, the service is absolutely not worth what you'll pay for, and their employees can never help you resolve any issue you'll have. Their service is by far the worst, "Most reliable 5G network" is absolutely false advertising. I signed up for home internet, 5G portable wifi, phone service, none of those works well, especially their internet, you can't even watch Netflix, not to mention working remotely was the reason I signed up for the 5G portable wifi. We showed up 10 minutes before opening today and were told there would be a 45 minute to one hour wait, which is ridiculous enough when you're trying to give a company your money. After 30 minutes we received a text calling us back to the store for our appointment. More than 45 minutes later we were still waiting, with no end in sight. There's something fundamentally wrong with this business model. Maybe they're understaffed or maybe they're just bad businesspeople, but it shouldn't be a Herculean task to upgrade your phones.
