So we finally are nearing the end of Geolinks. Although they got it working, it is working super slow now. We pay $75 per month for 30 MBPS down / 10MBPS up but only get 17MBPS down and 1.5MBPS up so we are switching to 100MBPS Starlink for $50 per month. All that Geolinks would have needed to do to keep us happy would have been deliver most of the bandwidth that we pay for somewhat consistently. I have them for wireless internet in Lake Sherwood where there is no cable and Verizon doesn't have much DSL bandwidth. I had to sign a two year contract. Took 2 weeks to install. Worked for two weeks then crashed. They blamed router but through three very top of line routers through Linksys and Netgear and multiple levels of escalation. Level 3 from Netgear jerry-rigged it to work but I am suspect (and so is the tec guy from Netgear that this is a permanent fix. I can't believe I am first customer to have this issue but all they did was point finger at router and suggest that I get a computer geek out to interface w them. I have wasted over 10 hours online and 5-6 days w/o service. For over $100 a month on basic service you should get more of a customer service effort at a minimum and I suspect they knew more than they let on. read more

Since changing to Geolinks 4 years ago we have had nothing but problems. We are a online business in Perris. We have had issues with their products "not pointed in the right direction" or now system maintenance they are calling it due to all the snow in California. They did not even put out a notice that there were issues. They currently have not ETA for this issue. They are a 3rd party provider for our main vendor. The cruel people at Geolinks with their mediocre Internet service are gouging our community with a 100% price raise, knowing we are trapped into using their service. We live in a private SENIOR community (it's a number of trailer parks for senior citizens in Orange County, so this affects thousands of senior citizens) and we have no option but to use Geolinks (we can use DSL, but I don't consider that an option). This is as of JULY 2018. The price will be $120 a month. The company has targeted senior citizens for this price gouge. These nonsense reviews you are reading about their professionalism are from naive people who think this company is in some way thinking about its customers' best interests. This is not the case. Here is what you get for $120: - 5-7 days of waiting for installation - Service only from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (no help after hours, so if the Internet goes down then you just don't get any Internet) - Mediocre speed - Frequent disruptions in service If you can avoid Geolinks, then you should. Great service and solid speeds that are true to the numbers. My ookla speed test tells me that my spectrum internet which i pay for the fastest package of 400 download is giving me speeds of 430-480 around a 2500 sq ft home with an orbi wifi mimo mesh system and an asus 4200 router Access Point along with a few other routers I converted to AC mode. On avg. i get 420 download and 18-23 upload. Wirh Geo Links which i have at the same residence, i get a solid 50 upload and 50 download almost every test and its a much much faster 50 than spectrum or any regular ISP. I use my Geo Links network off a TP-Link Router that cost me $60 and have 2 TP-link One Mesh compatible extenders that cost about $30 each. Its a very cheap hardware setup compared to spectrum which I have over $800 in hardware with my Orbi and AC points. I have still been using Geo Links for all my security cams on the perimeter of property since the network is so strong and solid compared to spectrum which I can only trust inside the house. Im a geek but for a business id definitely go with geo links no doubt so im not sharing internet and can see exactly what im paying for and feel the speed and power. read more

I have been dealing with Telco companies for over 15 years. Whenever I have a project that involves Telco, I cringe. I loathe having to deal with Telco. However, California Internet (CAI) is not like any Telco company. CAI is not dependent on the local carrier. When there is an issue, they don't point fingers. They get into our equipment, see the issue, and resolve it quickly. You don't have to go through several layers or levels of tech support to get answers and a resolution. They don't use tactics to get you off the phone. Our service has been extremely stable. I highly recommend their service. read more

CA Internet provides excellent customer service and support, 5-star all the way, polite, friendly and always ready with an assist. My 3-star rating is due to the poor quality connection and the sky-high cost of that connection. For full disclosure, I am located in upper Ojai, up Sulphur Mountain Road, so most definitely rural. I inherited the CA Internet account/connection from a former tenant at a $200.00 a month rate for INTERNET CONNECTION ONLY. Requiring the internet for work, I reluctantly agreed to the high monthly charge thinking I would research better options once I was moved in and stabilized. Of course at that rate I presumed the speed was blazing fast. Unfortunately, not even close. Remember the days of the 56k modem connection? This was only slightly faster. After several calls to CA Internet, I was told there was no guarantee regards speed (they have a term for this). When I questioned my existing equipment (modem, dish, etc), I was told there would be a sizable service charge (approx. 600.00) to have someone come up and look at it. I was presented with another option - to sign a 3-year contract for a guaranteed 1/5 (or 5/1) speed. For this guaranteed speed I would be paying approx. 140/month (and locked in to the 3 year contract). To underscore, I have no complaints regards customer service. 5 star all the way. Unfortunately, paying 200/month for a sub-par and well below average connection is foolish and ridiculously cost-prohibitive. I feel the same about paying 140/month for a 'better' connection. Comparatively speaking, I have a property in rural Colorado (San Luis Valley). I am 22 miles from the nearest town and my closest neighbor is more than a mile away. My local internet service is wireless and the connection is 5x5 for 44.95 a month. read more

He installed the dish, ran the cable, and got us up and running with a 100/100 circuit, and we are actually getting better speeds than promised. After endless years of dealing with AT&T and their myriad billing errors and rotating policy changes I finally decided to give this a chance. I never should have waited so long. I'm about 10 weeks into using California Internet Solutions for my home phone, fax and internet and it has been flawless. Download speeds are great, Voip works perfectly so far and I'm saving money. These guys are always available if i have any questions. So far this is A+ all the way around.
