See pictures to see what they consider finished work. 3 days ago I was threatened with legal action if I did not pay the balance due on the insurance claim. They have started the the process of reporting me to the 3 main credit bureaus. When I sent the pictures to their office the response was " you owe us money pay your bills " I wish this was the only issue I had with this contractor. If I had it to do all over I wouldn't hire these guys to install a TV.

He took us to visit some of the jobs he had in progress or had just completed and we were able to speak directly to the owners. Bill's crew was able to start earlier than promised and completed the work in the promised window, even accommodating a short vacation we had planned during the project. The crew was extremely professional and efficient. The quality of work was excellent. I feel that the exterior of my home is better than when it was new. In North Carolina, deceptive business practices are addressed under the Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act (UDTPA). This act prohibits unfair methods of competition and deceptive acts or practices in commerce. It covers a wide range of practices, including false advertising, fraudulent misrepresentation, and bait-and-switch tactics. Violations can lead to financial penalties and civil lawsuits. The law applies to all business activities, but certain professions and situations may be exempt (some general info for the following post). Specifically, fraudulent misrepresentation is my experience with A&M Premier Roofing. In a nutshell we signed a contract which included a set amount for the replacement and a clause that covered insurance claims paid by our carrier relative to the work being completed by A&M. Which originally was a bit over $10K (including our deductible) and we gladly paid it, we needed a new roof. Unknown to me A&M went back to our carrier and a submitted another claim. I was unaware of this until I received a call from our carrier in December about a denial for a secondary claim made. The claim was based on city of Raliegh code and we did not live in the city limits of Raleigh. I thanked our carrier for the call and didn't think anything of it because we paid A&M everything as stated in the signed agreement. Roughly a month or so after that I received a "2nd Payment is Due" email (from A&M Premier Roofing) for an additional $1445 in an invoice that I had never seen until then. I pushed back on A&M for a couple of months because this was not agreed upon prior to the work starting nor was I aware of the additional charge. Eventually we paid the bill because it would have cost us more to retain an attorney and sue to avoid the fraudulent misrepresentation or a potential personal credit hit. However, I have four years to consider filing a civil lawsuit and contacting the Wake County Attorney General due to the statute of limitations in NC. Part of me just wants chalk it up to not doing my due diligence before hiring them and move on, but another part of me is tired of getting taken advantage of. Hopefully if you are reading this, you'll do a better job of screening a potential roofer than I did. I cannot in good faith recommend them and if I could go back in time, I would not have chosen them (there are so many others out there).

I was immediately contacted by William Wright who was quick to quote, extremely professional and informative. I had neighborhood comps for houses the same size and was expecting the worst, but absolutely thrilled when they beat the norm. He even offered to check for storm damage that would help me with the cost through insurance, but that was not applicable. They kept in constant contact, keeping me updated on product availability, left samples and worked on my timeline. They started the work on my main house, and a small shop in the backyard, that was in Horrible condition with 2 layers of shingles,( at least 3" of thick moss and pine straw) at ~ 6:30am, and finished in under 7 hours, leaving my yard cleaner than it was before they started. I had some unforeseen wood damage, but it was repaired by wood that was worked into the quote, and would have been refunded had not been necessary. A substantial crew that got up all the nails, blew off all the concrete and left No debris behind. They worked closely with the delivery of the product to my house, and the unused portion was removed before they even left. One very impressive point was they stretched huge tarps to the eves to protect all my bushes and flowers. I even had iris in bloom that were still standing tall when removed. My roof Was 25yo and in desperate need of updating with a high quality product with a longer warranty than I will ever need. I could Not be happier with the results and new look to my home!!
