My experience with this Trader Joe's has typically been a very pleasant one because the employees are very kind, helpful, and the merchandise is fresh and there is so much variety. However, I've started noticing that management doesn't care very much for ensuring that foods are properly labeled. This is an issue when it pertains to dietary restrictions. On THREE separate occasions, we have communicated that a product is being labeled incorrectly. In this case, there is a non-vegan cheese that is being labeled as vegan. We've brought this to the manager of the day on multiple days, all different managers, and this issue persists. We've even moved the label and given it to them or moved it to the appropriate location. But... the image included was taken today. Nothing is being done about this and this is a very big problem if someone is just seeing the labeling and not paying close attention to the item's ingredients or notes. For a company that prides themselves on customer satisfaction and providing them with the information required for informed buying. The manager today seemed upset about us bringing this to her attention. And there is no regard for people like my family or young child that have dietary restrictions. read more

From the LA area & always bring our service dog without any issue. However at this location they think things are different. There was an extremely rude & anxious female management working near the cash register that told us & just assumed our dog wasn't a service dog & said we couldn't bring dogs in the store. We will CONTINUE to bring in our service dog in & not allow the rude female manager to tell us what to do on her power trip at a grocery store. An employee of hers even apologized for her actions but the Trader Joe's at this location ALL need to retaught on their service dog rules, especially the rude female. I've always been a fan of Trader Joe's and this location is no exception. Yes, this was my obligatory "Hawaii local" Trader Joes' run on my last trip to LA. Like other Trader Joe's stores, the store is small, but filled with all of your grocery needs. Fun fact I just learned on my visit to this Trader Joe's: If you want to try a product, bring it to an employee and they will open it for you, so you can sample it. They will then leave the rest up front for other customers to sample. Perfect because you don't want to buy a bunch because they look good, bring them back to Hawaii for friends and family, and then they taste horrible. They had a few new products since the last time I shopped at a Trader Joe's. I always enjoy the reusable bags they sell that showcase the region the store is located. I keep watching TickTock and I keep hearing that Trader Joe's has the best Cheese . I was in charge of feeding eight people while we were filming. What else is better than a charcuterie board. The customer service at this location is terrible. I am very lucky I don't live in the area to come back to this location. When you ask for help the employees seemed bothered. SUP PALALA's. I checked out this TJ's Location while I was in Anaheim in the month of October 2019. Had to bring the family to grab some TJ GOOD's to bring back home to the island of OAHU and BIG ISLAND. This location is located in Cerritos and it's in a nice shopping complex area with lots of parking stalls which is always a plus when comes to parking. The staff here at TJ's Location is awesome and very helpful with locating items that you are looking for. Thanks to the staff . What we bought was mostly *Waffle cookies *Cookie butter cookies *Cookie butter spread that comes in a bottle jar. *Trail mix packs *Banana Chips Also I like getting their DOGGY treats for my FURRY ANIMALS. Just to name a few. What I like also getting at TJ's Is their reusable bags and their reasonable price from .99cents to $3.99 a bag. Checked out this Trader Joe's. It seemed fairly new. It was right next to Costco, which allowed us to make multiple trips during our grocery shopping day in the plaza. There is ample parking there and there is a great coffee shop right next-door that I'd highly recommend if you have a chance to stop in and grab some coffee or grab a snack. This has to be the best branch by far. I've visited many locations in SoCal, but this branch has actual room in all the aisles and is very neatly organized. Usually, there isn't enough space for carts to pass each other, but this branch is so spacious. The staff are great, greeting you at the entrance and helping with organizing carts. They limited a lot of items but this means that every time I go, I'm able to get at least one of the items I needed. Also have a line outside so that they don't let too many people on at one time. Went to Trader Joe's this evening, really enjoy going grocery shopping, even thought this Trader Joe's seems a bit small, still has a lot of variety of items. The atmosphere is very welcoming and feels like everyone that shops here are always in a great mood. The workers are really friendly and are always in a helping mood. We stocked up on frozen meals, and to be honest I was thinking for all the food we bought it would be over $100 easily, but it was around $80, which shocked me. Bummer that I have to rate my favorite store like this. THIS is my closet TJ's to where I live. I've stop coming here because people were nicer at the Whittier, Long Beach and la habra locations. Today, I HAD to come and decided to give this location another try. Unknowingly, arrived during senior hour, which I knew went down to a couple of days a week, just never occurred to me to check. During the pandemic, other locations allowed customers to go in during senior hours, some drop the age to over 50...IF there was no line or IF the store was low capacity. Ray, STOPPED me at the front door. With respect, I left. But as I got in my car, I noticed a younger gentleman leave the store. NOT COOL! I called the store. I was recited policy after policy regarding senior hours and yet he didn't have any comments about what I witnessed, except, we'll talk to him. We need to do better and treat people the same. PERIOD! I hope that Nicole, will CHECK her people. TJ's reputation is about being EXTRA NICE. It wasn't the case here. It was blatant disregard to me bc I wasn't let in and yet others were. Rude cashier, felt like it was based on my race since the third customer ahead of me were Asian, once they left, the next two were white and came right up to the register while he was bagging and immediately finished their transaction. For the first time since frequently coming into Trader Joe's, I was told to stand away. This cashier joked and chatted with his co-workers, even after he was finished bagging. To which, once I tried to move forward to pay when he was finished bagging, he rudely told me to stand away until he was done with his conversation with his co-workers.
