Quick and easy self serve yogurt. Went for an after dinner dessert. Grabbed a few simple flavors - all pretty standard - regular tart and some coconut. They have the typical yogurtland everyday and seasonal flavors. Toppings bar was fine - they didn't have the chocolate shell syrup but rolled with the normal chocolate syrup stuff instead. There's a decent amount of seats, including a couple outdoor tables. If looking for something quick and sweet, I'd come back.

Yogurt hits the spot on hot days, The store itself was packed and a little warm A few of my strawberries were a little too squishy

THE MOST AMAZING YOGURTLANDDD LOCATION THERE IS!!! They never disappoint with their available flavors, they have so many toppings including Mexican candy, fruit roll up, chips ahoy, sponch cookies!??! They also gave me a big ole spoon for adding them on IG :). ANDD they play good music. Love this yogurtland forreal.

ALWAYS out of sample cups! Don't come here if you want to TRY any never flavors!

The ONLY Yogurtland that NEVER has sample cups available! This is my third time here in a year and would NOT recommend coming here if you want to try ANY new flavor or want customer service...would NOT recommend this location and go to the one in Buena Park!

I love Yogurtland, best soft serve ice cream in my opinion. They have a lot of flavors to choose from and toppings. I like the consistency of the cream. Fresh fruit toppings and plenty of other delicious toppings to choose from. I usually stick to the fresh fruits but I do like the mochi bites, coconut jelly, and popping bobas that they have. Staff are always friendly and nice. Ambiance is great. It's Self serve and you pay by weight.

If you like blueberries, do go to Yogurtland! My last visit to a Yogurtland was at the Long Beach Bixby Knolls location, and it was literally a nightmare. So much of a nightmare I pretty much used the same intro from my review of that location where I got a bowl of mango everything, but it tasted mango nothing. This time, my shopping trip took me through Artesia, and I suddenly remembered there was a Yogurtland there! I've always noticed the Tastea at the northeast corner of Pioneer and 183rd, but I kept forgetting that it's right next door to Yogurtland on the corner of a plaza that houses a variety of Indian eateries. The plaza has a pretty spacious lot, especially in this part of Artesia, but the two entrances to the lot are kind of narrow. Proceed with caution if there's a car exiting when you're entering and vice versa. I arrived on a late Thursday afternoon during the Great SoCal Heat Wave of 2022. When I stepped inside, a girl was there to greet me, but I didn't know where the bowls were. I took another look and saw they were in the far corner of the froyo shop. Had I entered through the door facing the traffic light, the bowls would have been right there. I tried to grab one of the larger bowls, which were facing upside-down, but a second one got stuck to the top and suddenly released its grip from the bowl I was grabbing. I juggled the other bowl with my other hand and fortunately caught it so the next family could use it for their child, though I doubt they chose that bowl lol. It would really help if Yogurtland had an automatic bowl dispenser to ensure that a customer would only touch one bowl and one bowl only. Since nobody else was in line to order, I was walking back and forth along the line of froyo dispensers to decide which flavor I wanted. They had the Alphonso Mango Tart, but after my debacle of a visit to the Bixby Knolls location, there was no way I would ever pick that again! lol but I did notice a brand new flavor called Blueberry Pancake, which was next to the Caramel Apple. The Blueberry Pancake was plant-based, which I was curious to see how that would taste. At all Yogurtland locations, each froyo dispenser has three levers and two flavors with the middle lever being a mix of the two flavors. I really wasn't sure about the combination of Caramel Apple with Blueberry Pancake; you might think it's a good mix, but I thought the flavors would have clashed one another that you wouldn't be able to tell what flavors they were if you weren't paying attention to the labels on top. I was leaning towards Blueberry Pancake, but I wanted to take a look at the toppings to make sure they did have blueberries. Sure enough, they did, and even some blueberry boba! That's when I finally decided to make a blueberry everything bowl, hoping it would indeed taste blueberry everything. While I wouldn't say it tasted blueberry everything, it tasted wayyyyy better than the mango! The blueberries tasted pretty fresh, but I didn't like how some of the blueberries still had the stems on them. They were pretty small, so they didn't bother me too much, but hopefully I didn't swallow that many stems while enjoying my blueberry froyo. However, I didn't taste much blueberry in the boba. Was I supposed to? Not sure, but at least it was worth trying. The froyo itself was pretty good as well! Solid texture as usual, but it was victimized by the late summer heat as I was enjoying the froyo in my car. I could have enjoyed my froyo at one of the few dining tables inside, but the family behind me in line had a child who couldn't stop screaming. I can't really comment about service here. The girl who greeted me when I entered was training a male co-worker that likely just started working there. She was instructing him on what to do, and since I was trying to scan my Yogurtland barcode, I had to be patient so the girl could guide him on what to do. I had enough Yogurtland rewards to cover the purchase of the bowl, so I didn't get a receipt, and I forgot to look at the weight on the scale, so I don't actually know how much it is per oz there, unfortunately. She did offer me a spoon, but I had to ask for a lid. I also had to ask how much the bowl cost so that I'd know how much rewards I would have left in my account. Location-wise, I do find it a little odd there is a Yogurtland in Artesia when there's already a Yogurtland inside Los Cerritos Mall just one mile west. Not complaining, of course, but don't we have too many in the area? lol Overall, not a bad Yogurtland visit. While the blueberries and their flavored froyo could have tasted better, it did cool me down at a time when I needed to cool down. Hopefully I'll make a return visit on a better day so I can get the friendly service that I typically see at the Lakewood location.

I wish they would just be honest and say they are not offering samples, instead the last 3 times I've been here, they've miraculously ran out of sample cups

Update: They're no longer affiliated with Fivestars!…read more I've since gone two additional times to try their waffle bites. My last trip was kind of spontaneous because I suddenly got a Fivestars reward that day for these waffle bites. However, when I arrived, I was looking for the Fivestars tablet only to be met by a Clover tablet instead. It felt like I went through a time warp because the employee working behind the register didn't seem to have any idea what I was trying to say regarding Fivestars, though he did notice a little trifold card on the front counter mentioning Fivestars. I asked if he could get his manager so I could explain, and even show, him my Fivestars reward. The reward said "already accepted", which he almost thought meant I had redeemed it already, but if that were the case, then it would have said "already redeemed". Given that they've now done away with Fivestars, I'm not too surprised he may have gotten the words "accepted" confused with "redeemed", but luckily, he was happy enough to honor it for me. The employee who assisted me was very helpful, though he did ask me to repeat the topping and the drizzle that I wanted. I chose the Strawberry Cheesecake flavor ice cream with Fruity Pebbles toppings and a Strawberry drizzle on top. Since I had already tried the cookie flavors before, I figured I'd try the fruity flavors this time around. He said he needed about 5 minutes to prepare my waffle bites, which were presented a little different than last time. Last time, I got the Cookie Butter flavor with *Cookie* Crisp and Peanut *Butter* (see what I did there?), and it came in a small plastic takeout container. This one came in a large plastic cup, and I'm thinking the logistics may have changed a ton between my last two visits. I did appreciate how the employee asked if I wanted the waffles on top of or beneath the ice cream before making the waffle bites; I chose on top. He also asked if I'd like powdered sugar on top, to which I agreed. Unfortunately, neither of the waffle bites I got from my last two visits impressed me that much. As a matter of fact, the only thing that impressed me was the strawberry drizzle. Everything else fell kind of flat. While generous in size for the $8 price tag, the Cookie Butter and the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream didn't really taste like these flavors at all! For whatever reason, the peanut butter didn't add much flavor, but the strawberry drizzle added a lot! How even?! In short, the waffle bites weren't that much of an upgrade from the ice cream scoop that I had on my first visit. I'm willing to say "too much good was no good" here. The waffles themselves were good, but they can only do so much when a flavored ice cream doesn't even taste like that flavor. It's worth noting that on my penultimate visit, when I got the Cookie Butter Waffle Bites, I saw two employees behind the front counter who were ready to take my order. I asked them to explain what the waffle bites were, but it took them a couple of tries to actually understand what I was asking. From what I gathered, the waffle bites were similar to the ice cream scoop I had on my first visit, but with the addition of a warm waffle to supplement the ice cream. However, the step-by-step process remains the same. I was initially told it would take 6 minutes to prepare the Cookie Butter Waffle Bites, but it actually took 15! It seemed like one was training the other or they were trying to gather the ingredients and/or the steps needed to create the waffle bites. After about 10 minutes, I was told by one of the employees they had to make a new batch of waffles because the first batch had burnt. The music was getting pretty loud, so it was hard to hear him after that, but I didn't want to hold up the kitchen prep process any longer. I just said "Alright, sure" so he could continue preparing my order. I do appreciate how he let me know of this so that I'd know the reason for the extended wait, but I wish they weren't so ill-prepared during my visit. So overall, still 3 stars overall. I appreciate the prior partnership with Fivestars, but these missed opportunities have led me to believe that Cravings is just not for me. I doubt I'll try anything else on their ice cream menu, and considering that there are only a few parking spots in their lot, it will take a lot to get me to try their hot chicken. And speaking of lack of parking, I also want to mention that on my second visit, I saw two open parking stalls right in front of Cravings, one on either side of a car. That car had its driver's side wide open so that I couldn't park there. I had to park on the passenger side of that car, which he left much less room for. Perhaps a microcosm of the clientele in this part of town? Everybody deserves a second chance, right? Unfortunately, not everybody can make the most of them, and this is just one example of such. Thanks for the sweet treats Cravings, but I'll get my next one somewhere else.

His scoop was a little larger than mine, so that was a bit annoying. He enjoyed his vanilla. The blueberry cobbler was divine; the vanilla was swirled with a good amount of blueberry that tasted fresh. But…read morewe *remembered* it, anyway, so when, about a month ago, we made the journey out to Artesia to satisfy our desire for a quality Indian buffet (something Long Beach has been lacking in for quite some time), we made sure to save a bit of room for ice cream here - we're pretty spoiled with easy access to Long Beach Creamery, quite possibly the best ice cream on the planet, but while they always have fun and interesting flavors, they aren't *these* flavors. Sadly, I definitely did *not* save sufficient room for the item I most specifically remembered having gotten last time, their falooda, which I *certainly* can't get anywhere in Long Beach, my favorite sort of dessert, being ice cream with a kitchen sink's worth of fun toppings. A decade later I still remember how good that falooda was. Presumably they still are. But we did have room for ice cream, at least a bit. They were happy to let us try as many flavors as we wanted, and there were a few I literally had no idea what they were - though some were just names for already-mixed variants, I learned, for instance, that "gulkand" is their rose ice cream with extra rose-petal candy (extremely tasty!), and that "chikoo" is actually the name of a fruit I'd never heard of (it tastes a lot like rich brown sugar, and goes particularly well with gulkand.) They were also happy to let us mix two flavors as half-scoops for a single scoop cup, and their single scoop cups are *quite* substantial. Long Beach Creamery is still my gold standard in craft ice cream, but everything about the ice cream here also tasted extremely real, made with actual fruits/candies/etc rather than mixes or "flavoring", and it's *almost* as close to the perfect creamy (not too airy or too dense) consistency that LB Creamery nails (Saffron Spot's is just *slightly* denser. Still extremely good. And way cheaper.) Also of note, they have an actual, dedicated parking lot, and at least when we were there, Saturday afternoon about a month ago, there were plenty of parking spaces in it, which felt like a downright rarity for the immediate surrounding area.

This is a great little grab and go spot for traditional Indian style ice cream. There's a couple of…read moreseats if you want to hang but nothing picturesque. We ordered three of the fan favorites and those were the Pistachio, Tutti Fruity and Kulfi Kreme. I sampled both the Pistachio and the Tutti Fruity and they were both good so I knew mine was going to be legit. Since it was my first time having this I can't really describe the flavor but I know it was so dense and creamy and worth every single lick and slurp! And I write that cause I'm lactose! But so worth the price I had to pay later that day! LOL! Boom! The service was mid but what can you expect from teens! L to the O to the L! And that's my take on it, Peace out...

I'm really glad we have a popular Filipino spot like Cafe 86 serving amazing drinks and desserts…read more I've been here multiple times and honestly I keep coming back for the same things Their Upside Down Halo Halo and Ube Monster Shake with Oreos are DIVINE. The Ube Monster is consistently my go to and they seriously know how to do ube right, not just with their drinks but their pastries and desserts too. Personally I think Cafe 86 has one of the best halo halo around. Even compared to a lot of Filipino restaurants and dessert places I've tried, this one stands out. I'd even take their halo halo over Chowking or Red Ribbon. Cafe 86 is basically what I think a modern Filipino halo halo and ube dessert spot should be. Not to mention always friendly staff and super comfy seating. Nice place to chill and catch up for desserts tho a lil small. They've mastered ube here and I love that they're bringing Filipino flavors into more modern drinks and desserts without losing what makes them good in the first place. I go back all the time and will continue to!!

It was nice to learn that they offer both kinds of halo halo in the smaller size. The only new surprise is now they charge extra to change the vanilla ice cream to the Ube ice cream. So this time we went with the original which comes with the Ube ice cream. It was nice they still let us eat in, but as soon as it hit 9:00pm, they went out from the back and told us they were closed and sort of pushed us out as fast as they were able to.
