Good selection. Not too busy. Employees were friendly. Reasonable prices depending on what you're looking for.

    Dinner minus the salmon

I love Trader Joe's. My wife has 2 out of town guests & I wanted to whip together a quick dinner. I stopped @ Trader Joe's and quickly found the items that I needed so I didn't have to go to a second store. I made a quick simple dinner w/salmon marinated in fresh garlic, ginger, a hot Thai chili pepper mixed w/soy sauce & sesame oil. I added an arugula salad w/avocado, black olives, mushrooms, boiled eggs, carrots & sesame seed dressing. I also had tofu seasoned w/soy sauce, sesame seed oil & 2 types of furikake sprinkled on the tofu. We also got a bottle of moscato (per one of the guests request.). For dessert we had lemon bars. Trader Joe's is such a convenient store that had everything I needed in one location.

This is an older strip mall Trader Joe's. In fact, I guess most Trader Joe's are in some sort of strip mall, but this one has adjacent attached businesses for what that's worth. It looks average to smallish size on the outside but the open layout inside makes it feel bigger and makes for comfortable browsing. As with most Trader Joe's in our experience, there's nice clientele and nice friendly staff here.

I'm a huge fan of this store and have been shopping here for over 40 years. I used to live in Central California and kind of grew up with TJ's. Later when I moved to Orlando, I was excited to finally welcome them to Florida! The best things there are the wine selection and the great variety of frozen foods. I also love their carrot juice and prepared salads for making life easy. On the whole, Trader Joe's has better prices than many local supermarkets, and a unique and ever changed selection. Also they have the best houseplants and flowers!

The layout of this shop is so much better than the Naperville or Glen Ellyn stores! Feels more spacious and better decisions as to where things were placed. Same stuff as any other location, but it's high quality, unique products. My least favorite thing to buy at TJs is produce but everything else is good. I was stumped why the clerk asked me "What are you using them for?" when I asked about stickers. (I was buying a half-dozen of their greeting cards.) Never been quizzed like that at another location.... Overall, layout was ideal but customer service a bit off on this experience.

Love this place - more variety than many of the other TJ's. Always well curated and fresh.

One of the best Trader Joe's I've been to in the area. Bigger than most, clean, and wasn't too busy. Went on an early Sunday afternoon.

They have a market they have a grill and they have a produce section out of this world as well as a coffee shop that was fantastic. Well, I forgot to take pictures of my food and drink. I was able to observe every other thing that was in that store and if I lived there, I would be there all the time. It's kind of like Whole Foods and a local operation partner together to create a very unique niche. Working with the staff was a breeze, and I would recommend anybody who wants to check this concept out. Pay a visit.

They also had a help yourself bar of salsas and pickled veggies, jalapeños and anything you'd want to top your taco, burrito, quesadilla, etc with. I'd totally come back to the cantina! There's tons of seating for the cantina and market itself. Love good for a quick lunch! Don't have to fight for a seat! The market itself is on the high-end side. I love that they have dinner kits packed. Very helpful on those nights you wanna take the guess work out of dinner. They have a full on butcher section so you can find a protein you want. Also some plant based alternatives, too. They have a bakery loaded with goodies. Nice size market to shop. There's more to explore here so I'm gonna come back for sure!

Don't cry for me, Argentina. This is basically my dream evening. Alone doesn't mean lonely for this little lady. I've got my opinions to keep me warm. Hashtag Favorite Valentines. After sitting in mind-numbing traffic for a 3-hour drive from the north shore, I started to get the 4th meal hunger pangs, but was dreading the thought of going out to eat on Valentine's Day and having to look at people who weren't stars of the show 'Oz', my current obsession, if yo haven't figured that out already. I decided to utilize the #3 speed dial on my phone and put in a take-out order at Downers Grove's Thai Cafe... only everyone else in the area had those same plans so instead of my order taking the typical 15 minutes, it was going to take 35. My plan was to wait it out in the strip mall parking lot and go in when could see my order come up through the window so I would have to talk to as few people as possible, but then I saw Downtown Food Mart just a storefront away in the same strip, and decided I'd spend my time in the rather dicey looking convenience mart in hopes of them having Takis, my favorite snack/breakfast, lunch, dinner food. I go in, and think, 'erm, this place is kinda set up like a crap hole.' Empty displays, weird non-stacking of 89 cent cat food cans that for whatever reason made my blood boil, and no Takis in the snack and chip aisle. What the hell? This place is NOT for anyone with a hint of OCD. I still had a good 15 minutes before my bulk Thai food order would be ready, so I decided to continue to peruse every aisle, and the more I looked, the more I liked. They had a pretty good selection of wine. It's over-priced, obvi, but pretty much all the wines are discount wines anyone so still nothing that'll break your bank. I was super pissed about the non-presence of Takis until I got to the marquee, front and center stand by the register that was chock full of Takis. Like, 4 different kinds, and all were super cheap at $1.39, compared to the $2.49 I'd pay at other grocery stores. Bada bing! I'm checking out and the guy behind the counter doesn't mention anything about the stupid non-holiday that's occurring, which I greatly appreciate, and instead asks if I like spicy stuff. Well, heck yes! I live for spicy! And then he proceeds to give me his spicy food recommendations and we swap ghost pepper stories for the next 5 minutes and part by exchanging names. His name is Raj. Raj is awesome. I will be back to purchase more Takis (possibly also overpriced wine and cat food if the hour is right) from Raj.

Staff always friendly, and they recognize you when you frequent the store. Decent selection of…read morenecessities, and high, but reasonable prices. Walkable from my house, so very convenient.
