This TJ is on a smaller side, but so happy that they are finally here in FoCo! Being from where TJ all started in SB, I'm just happy that we have them here! Since moving from California I've been on a mission to find a Trader Joe's and this one is great. All the goods, like usual, are tasty and fresh while the employees are friendly, helpful, and funny. The prices are also amazing. I'm just not a fan of the parking lot situation. read more

This is one store I always look for when I move to a new city. I've been a loyal customer for years because I've always experienced excellent customer service. Their prices are very competitive considering the quality of their products. One thing I've noticed about this store's salads is that they don't last until their expiration date. It's disappointing considering the delicious variety being offered. You can find every you'd possibly need for your meals, whether you're cooking from scratch or heating up a ready made meal. No need to figure out dessert or snacks. Health supplements are very reasonable. Beauty products are basic but very functional. Even pet products look enticing! Stop by over the weekends for their sampling. Now that we're in fully in holiday season, stop by for all your goodies. There'll be something for everyone! One MAJOR improvement for the store: Please start stock alcohol like your other counterparts in neighboring states. I know there are regulatory state laws, but it's one of our essential food groups! read more

This store is not too big and not too small. It has lots of varieties of foods. I love the tea tree bar soap and liquid dish soaps. I just wish there was more cat snack/food options. But besides that it's overall a good little store. And it's right down the street from my house. read more

Only a moron would love this place! Full of feel good bs product that isn't worth its money at half the price. Mostly frozen food non GMO non tasty non filling bs. Bought some suppose it fresh tortillas and they ended up mouldy after 2 days. Called and explained to the manager about the moldy tortillas and only got brushed aside. Rude, unprofessional, worthless employees at this Trader Joes. Will be selling my TJX stock very soon. read more

This place is awesome! Every time I shop here the employees are always smiling/friendly and asking if I need help with anything. And the store is always clean and well stocked. During the Holidays they sell the best ginger beer but you need to get it early before it sells out. Truly a delightful place to shop and if you are a tea drinker make sure to check out the mango black tea! read more

We stopped in here while up in Ft. Collins recently after reading about them online and deciding to check them out. Much different than I originally had thought it would be- prices were very reasonable on most everything in the store. They mainly carry their own brand of about everything you could imagine. We purchased more than I expected as they had such a neat selection of things you cannot find any where else. Overall very impressed with them and will be back again next time we are up in Ft. I love trader joes for the quality you get with their prices. I am from Hawaii so a half gallon of organic milk is almost $8! And it's $3 at Trader Joes! Also they have the best snacks!! Like their butter wafers, cowboy bark, chocolate cover pretzels and their famous cookie butter! We love trader joes and look forward to going over and over while in CO. So far they are super busy, small, and great produce prices. They sell a lot of specialty items. Do your homework and you can find some great deals. For now they are bagging worth reusable shopping bags for free. read more

Management inconsistencies and obvious costumer prejudice ruin a wonderful store, filled with amazing workers who I have loved getting to know since the store has opened. I have loved this store since it opened with their great deals, wonderful customer service and great selection. Even after my first visit when I felt targeted and bullied by a staff member who still works there; I continued to go. For nearly a year, I've been a loyal honest customer. I had always brought in receipts for returns and never gave any grief about the way they handled business. One of the staff members mentioned to me that I could return empty boxes of food I did not enjoy without a receipt. I had done this twice with different managers who never said anything about me not having a receipt. The final nail in the coffin for this business came today when I walked up to the manger, who had an obvious judgmental demeanor that started to give me pause. I asked her if I could return the items and s she began to tell me she couldn't return anything without a receipt, I started to grimace. I had a feeling she specifically didn't want to return anything for me specifically since I had done it twice to her. I brought it up to her that two previous managers had returned my items previously without receipt and never said anything to me about requiring a receipt. The wheels obviously began spinning in her head to give me a reason to not do a simple return. After 5 seconds of her trying to figure out an answer, she just gave me a side eye and said "we require receipts for all returns". An obvious lie and contradiction to the policies I had seen and heard carried out by other staff members. Another manager who was always so friendly and kind to me stood next to her silent as if he couldn't give a shit if I got helped or not. I wish this Trader joes would respect all customers equally and stop being so wishy washy . Not all staff members follow the same policies, something that has ruined this whole establishment. I wonder if I looked like most of the preppy, attractive wealthy people; today's experience would have never happened and I would have had a super easy return. As a result of this headache of an experience; I could give a shit about supporting this business anymore and spending my hard earned money there. It breaks my heart one or two bad eggs can ruin the whole dozen. Do not shop here if you want consistent customer service that makes sense and doesn't rely upon each managers personal preference. read more

Usually love T J's but now I will not get my fresh organic veggies there ever again. Bought some tomatoes for salad and found rotten ones and my organic spinach was half rotten along with the organic basil I bought. Love most of the products but will never buy fresh there again. read more

I grew up on Trader Joe's in California and I'm so glad to have it back in my life. I've been eating their food for a week straight now and I feel so much better and full of energy! My daughter and I bought most of the flowers for the bouquets and center pieces for her wedding at Trader Joes on Horsetooth. The flowers were fresh, beautiful, and are still thriving 5 days later. A great selection ton at great prices. read more

This is a grocery store, but it may be a little different than what you are used to. What they don't have are : 1) 30 varieties of apples 2) duct tape, ice chests, motor oil and 12-pack energy drinks 3) giant, aisle-blocking kiddie carts where your entire litter can sit while you peruse the $12 dollar box of artisanal pasta. What they DO have is lots of things you can't find anywhere else. Kale,Burrata and Prosciutto pizza. Watermelon juice. Spicy Buffalo jerky. They also have lots of building block items if you want to cook for yourself, or pre-packaged items for every phase of a meal (Salad, Appetizer, Main Course, Dessert, Drinks). The service is the best in town - people love to work here. And I always leave feeling like I actually got some food for my $100 (I went to Whole Foods once and bought $100 worth of groceries, only to have a seagull snatch it from me in the parking lot). The olive oil and coffee savings alone are worth making a trip. read more

I have never had a bad experience with this TJs! The quality of the meat and produce is great, snacks are always a crowd pleaser and the staff is excellent. This place is a life saver when I have to grocery shop with my 2 year old. The mini shopping carts are the best distraction and the sample station is much appreciated! I mostly appreciate the staff, though. They are always so helpful - anyone who has shopped with a toddler knows you could be seconds away from a meltdown. They are always ready with stickers and are more than happy to help you to your car. Most recently Harold helped us out and was very kind and happy to give me a hand. It made this tired Mama's day! Choice selections of unusual items that bring you back for more. But, If you like Apple pie go elsewhere , unless you like soggy cardboard. I enjoy fresh flowers , but theirs died before I got them home. Very disappointing. The same with fresh produce that is far from fresh. Otherwise I will stick to some items that I can't find elsewhere....be selective and avoid disappointment. read more
