Love this market! So many great things to see and buy and half the times we didn't know what they were so it was an adventure! The produce section was amazing, very fresh and lots of Asian vegetables! The cashiers were quick and helpful. No long lines here. We found everything we needed to make our sukiyaki dinner! And the snacks were nicely stocked, that is if you know what you're buying. Good choices for meat, beef, chicken or pork. They conveniently have their beef cuts prepackaged for you to conveniently make your favorite Koean bbq dishes like galbi jjims (cubed korean bbq dish), galbi (thickly sliced beef cuts with the 3 oval cut bones), bulgogi (thinly sliced beef with the marinade), and more. I also love this place because their vegetables and fruits look so fresh and affordable. My other favorite about this location is that I've noticed they always have a HUGE sale on usually at least one brand of bulk instant ramen in a box, boxed curry to make on a whim on any given night, and their mini yogurutu (probiotic yogurt drink) packs that are sold as low as 99 cents for a pack of 5. I'm a fan favorite to this location because it is expansive and close by enough in the valley to hop over to. If you're looking for anything for your asian food cooking/eating needs, this place will have it. Their selection of Chinese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese etc. spices, products, noodles, etc. is great. We've never once not found what we needed here. Staff here is friendly, but sparse. For the most part I feel like you're on your own when shopping. But personally I'm okay with that. Just keep note of that. I think we're lucky to have a place like Galleria Market in our neighborhood. I love this grocery store so much. As a filipina, they have everything i need here. Exotic veggies, huge sake and soju selection, i always grab their sushi grade ready fish and the premarinated beef you can buy per pound already packaged it makes dinner nights so quick and easy. They always answer the phone if you ever have a question about stock which is rare for other groceries. They also have a korean skin care store, food court and other vendors inside which is cool and very rare to find in a supermarket. I love this spot! read more

I love coming here!! The store is huge and the variety is amazing! From sushi grade fish to packaged pickled radish the selection seems endless. They also have a poke restaurant inside which is the best tasting poke for an amazing price. I wish I lived closer because I would come everyday! The seafood department sells sushi grade fish and today's reason for the visit was to buy sushi fish and make sushi at home. My sister and o stopped by and got everything we needed to make sushi rolls. Get even had cooked sushi rice individually packed. Took my daughter to check out Galleria Market in Northridge and ended up pleasantly surprised! The market has a great selection of Korean groceries and snacks, and the food court is a hidden gem. We picked up spicy rice cakes with ramen to cook later - such a good combo and super easy to make. The market had a great selection of Korean ingredients, snacks, and desserts, so we couldn't resist grabbing a few sweet treats too. LOVE this market! It has basically all we need but sad that they only have the Samyang Carbo BOWLS once in a blue moon! It's my favorite and super convenient to bring to work occasionally. I should've bought them all when they had them but we've been checking for months and they haven't had them since!! PLEASE RESTOCK THESE! They also have an amazing food court here with delicious kbbq already cooked and ready to go! The far back left corner has amazing fried dumplings. This place is awesome!! I come here for 5 things: sushi grade salmon, snacks, alcohol, short ribs, and mushrooms!! 1. Sushi grade salmon. It's a super fun date night to make your own rolls and nigiri. Their salmon is beautifullll and they'll help you find the perfect sushi rice and all the things you need if you ask an employee. There's even cool dishes and stuff to make the full experience. The prices are amazing, a huge slab of salmon you can slice up for less than the cost of one roll at most places 2. Snacks. It's super fun to go down the snack aisle and grab a bunch of random things... Even with things you have no idea what they are. I like to get a bunch of friends together and grab a ton of stuff... You'll find something amazing, weird, or fun guaranteed. Definitely try all the different pocky (toffee almond is my fav) and don't sleep on the spicy fish flavored crispy stuff 3. Alcohol. Soju is like vodka (about half the alcohol content by volume) but they have super fun flavors. Green apple, pomegranate, and strawberry are my favorite. Easy to shoot and perfect mixers for drinks. And sake for sake bombs is the best price here. 4. Short ribs. They have beautiful, wagyu level marbling short ribs here. Marinate them in their pre-made KBBQ marinades in the refrigerator section and there will be NO LEFTOVERS GUARANTEED for a bbq. 5. Mushrooms. Oyster mushrooms y'all, they shred exactly like cooked chicken and taste incredible. Amazing pulled pork/vegan substitutes and they're hard to find. Really like this Korean grocery store. It's one of the only ones of its kind in the general area, and for that, it's already an incredibly valuable asset to the community. I love the selection here. It's relatively no-frills in its presentation, but you'll find your kimchi, your ddukbbokki, your soju, your makgeolli, your gochujang, your ramyun, and everything else you want here. If you want to grab warm pre-packaged foods like kimbap, make sure to come earlier because they run out by closing time. Also, I love that closing time is relatively late. on 2/21/2025, I went to my favorite market the Galleria Market in Northridge to do my regular shopping. All of a sudden a worker, whom I never saw before. stood in front of me speaking Korean to me. I did not understand so I looked a him. Then he changed to speaking English. He used a very unfriendly language telling me that my service dog was not allowed going into the market. The Galleria market has everything that a large Korean supermarket has a competitive prices too. The clerks were very helpful locating hard to find items too. Located in the same plaza as Gen Korean BBQ. Parking was pretty ample. I would say that this is a in line with a Ralph's or Vons, but focused on Asian/Korean items. In the cold section, they have fresh banchan items and I like their kimchi and pickled cucumbers. The Galleria has been a staple in Northridge. Although it's not as well known as an Hmart. This location has a lot to offer if you're looking to make some Korean food. The produce section and butcher section are highlights for me. Produce is usually nice and fresh and cheaper than other American chain grocery stores. I think this place really shines with it's KBBQ cuts. Their marinade is pretty good and the quality of beef is also good given that for the most part everything is prepackaged and ready to go. Obviously prices have gone up over time, so one can argue it may be more economical to hit up Gen which is in the same plaza, but this is where my family goes to get Korean meat every time. They also have a good seafood selection including sushi and sashimi ( but I've not yet had a chance to try it) The food court is actually pretty dang good, all the options are different and all worth dining for. There is also an optometry store, which I've got my glasses from before and I enjoyed the service as well. I've also been to both beauty shops and they have some of the most famous brands as well as affordable brands. I've also bought ginseng from the ginseng shop and the lady there was very helpful. The bakery had some good stuff too! Not only will you find delicious groceries and snacks at the market, but they also have a wise selection of the best Korean drinks, as well as Soju and different types of alcohol. They also have things like cute little Korean accessories, cleaning supplies, some clothing and supplements. I love it when I find popular Korean products here.
