The service was incredible. I felt like I had my own personal shopper. Her recommendations were spot on. Especially the Irish potato chips. Loved how clean even the bathrooms. Wow

Trader Joes wines are something you shouldn't miss when you visit this amazing grocery store! Also a fan of their spices

I found a unique kind of canned fish I tried. I did not get a wow taste, but it was fine. Unfortunately, Trader Joe's carries lots of food that are not as healthy as I have thought. Their supply contains modified food, etc. I do like that they occasionally market new items in their store. However, the staff did not let me try a sample as I remember possible per their policy before purchasing.

I love shopping at Trader Joe's and hate that there isn't one closer to my house, so any time I'm in the area, I have to stop in. I had seen a list of new products on BuzzFeed's Tasty and wanted to give them a try. Before I even entered the store I was delighted to see several potted plants sitting outside for sale. Once inside, I couldn't resist the fresh-cut flowers. I chose the a very uniquely colored bouquet of roses. While checking out the clerk, Kinsley, said that theirs are the best and they usually last a couple of weeks. I look forward to enjoying them in the coming weeks. While browsing, I saw that one of the items I was there for was being offered as a sample. I was delighted to try the PB&C Snack Duo before purchasing it. This will be the perfect late-night, not too sweet snack for my family to enjoy. I found nearly everything I was looking for and when I had difficulty to the staff were all very kind and eager to assist. Everyone seemed to really love their jobs. I overheard to female employees going on about a snack they love and how the bag isn't resealable, so you have to eat the whole bag! You just have to! On another aisle, I male employee spoke kindly to a shopper's son about superhero etiquette. It was really cute! The meat and produce all looked very fresh and I love the variety of unique seasoning blends. I didn't intend on spending as much as I did, but I'm sure that I'll enjoy all of the items I purchased and look forward to returning again in the future.

Recipe posted as a suggested use for potatoes.

Love Trader Joe's! Today I got several new products to try out. They have several new candles that will make great gifts. The staff was very helpful and easily found for questions and help. For the most part even the customers were friendly to each other. Clean store and I was able to take my time wandering the aisles.

Big parking lot and friendly employees. This location has so much more in stock and wider variety of items than the Castleton location. Trader Joe's does a great job at rotating their product selection, while introducing new items. That's why shopping here is such an exciting excursion for me. I always try one to two new items whenever I go, and this time I finally got the cinnamon filled Korean pastry pancakes that sold out last year!

I couldn't find what I was looking for. But of course I found other things that I didn't need. Great customer service. The store is always clean.

Senior hours daily!

Trader Joe's grocery has THE best pandemic precautious for seniors in the area. They offer special hours for seniors between 8-9 am daily. A masked clerk greets you outside with a freshly cleaned cart and smile and will politely turn away non-seniors. The automatic doors mean I don't have to touch anything. I felt safe. Inside the store is ultra clean and everyone wears a mask. I have been shopping here for many years. I love the vegetables, cheeses, meats, specialty items and wine selection. Prices are great. Some of the merchandise you can only find here. The products are high quality and many products focus on sustainability. I stock up on the 99 cent cards. And the fresh flowers are the freshest and most reasonably priced in town. The service is always friendly and efficient wearing cheerful Hawaiian shirts and a smile. I love the flyers they send out with recipes and articles about new products. The parking lot can be a bear during peak hours, but I shop early and have no issues.

I love what Trader Joe's is doing to keep employees and customers safe--their pandemic precautions are the best around. I feel so much safer shopping here than I do at other stores ... I don't even mind waiting in line to get in. * Employees are wearing masks * There are handy (and super adorns) markers on the sidewalk to keep you appropriately spaced from your fellow shoppers * Carts are sanitized after each use * The store is fabulously uncrowded Thank you, TJs!!

I've become a big fan of Trader Joe's. Not many places have Trader Joe's and we're lucky enough to have a couple of them around Indianapolis. When you walk in you're greeted with colorful bouquets, succulents, and orchids. The price and quailty of the flowers is superb. Each bouquet comes with a flower food packet and on the wall you can take a plastic sleeve to put your bouquets in. I love how Trader Joe's goes all out on the holidays. They will have great displays with the holiday theme carried throughout the month. They sell advent calendars for $1! Haunted house kits for under $7. Irish soda bread during St. Patrick's day. The list goes on and on. One item that is really a deal is the Danish Kringle that comes from Racine, Wisconsin. Trader Joe's sells them for I think $6.99. Normally to buy one and have it shipped is $20+!! They have cream cheese, almond, pumpkin, and raspberry. They might have more options but they will only sell one type for a period of time. The almond and cream cheese are my favorite. They could sell out of the pumpkin ones. Those are a hit. A Kringle can feed a lot of people. If you're new to Trader Joe's you can go to the back left corner and they will have maybe 3 or 4 samples and they have a coffee sample and maybe a juice sample. They sell K-cups there! Well, Trader Joe's brand and I personally like the French Roast ones. The prices are good for what items you're buying. They have a really nice body butter that's under $6! It's great! Oh, and get cards here! All the cards are up front and you can pick up the card and turn it over and it will show you what the inside of the card will say and look like! It's enclosed in a clear plastic sleeve so your card and envelope are nicely packaged and you don't have to take it out and open up the card to see what it says. The best part all cards are $1! So, stock up. Lots of varieties. Stop if you're ever near the area. This location is off of 86th street by McNamara Florist and Panera.

Trader Joe's is a wonderful store that sells natural organic products and gluten free products of a different kind. I have always enjoyed coming here to shop because everything is fresh and the staff are wonderful and very knowledgeable on the products. The selection of fresh flowers is wonderful and they have a fantastic selection of coffee and wine as well. The chocolate is just as good, and they have specialty products during the holidays that are worth purchasing. Once in a while, they will provide free samples of the products to the customers. This is the best way to try the product and see if you like it before purchasing. There is nothing more to say about Trader Joe's except it is an excellent store and you will get your money's worth if you shop here for natural organic products.

This morning I was rummaging around trying to find flower bouquets. I found two gorgeous ones! You seriously cannot beat TJ's price for them. What really made my day was one of the staff got me a bucket of water for them and let me take it home. It's moments like this one that keep me coming back to TJ!

So all of the old reviews that mention Marsh don't apply to this newer store, now called Needler's Fresh Market. I don't know -- I think Needler's is pretty good! It has a little bakery on site (Lemon's Bakery Cafe), which has hot food and baked goods, with seating by big windows that overlook Mass Ave. Beyond the cafe, the rest of the joint is a small grocery store. You'll find a modest produce section with fresh-looking greens and fruit and things. They sell house-made hummus and sushi. The wine section is abysmal, but I did find a bottle of one of my cheapie low-key favorite bottles of Malbec here, so I picked that up. The dried ramen section is also better than it needs to be. The prices seem to be about the same as Kroger and other grocery stores. Checkout was quick and there were several registers open. The only thing is that I entered through the cafe and exited by the registers, so I got a little turned around once I exited. Keep in mind that you can only enter/exit through the cafe at certain hours. They lock that door after a particular time. (I think it's 5 or 6 p.m.)

While I can't say I frequent The Fresh Market, I have come here somewhat regularly enough that I'm…read moresurprised I've never reviewed this SoBro grocery staple that feels perfectly located. The basics: The Fresh Market is a chain started in 1982 by Ray and Beverly Berry in Greensboro, North Carolina. It is still North Carolina-based and remains a somewhat modestly sized chain at 161 stores nationwide. It was very much modeled after European markets and shopping here is, quite simply, a warm and immersive experience. It's luxurious, however, it's actually a very simple market and I'd honestly never be able to shop here and get everything that I needed. I live a simple life. Not that simple. In 2022, Cencosud, a Chilean retail company, acquired a 67% stake in the company. From 2021-2023, the chain was named the best grocery store in America by USA Today. Now then, back to the local scene. The Fresh Market is unique in that it has an attached garage along with its street-level parking. There are accessible spots along the front and an automatic door. The floor plan seems to be wheelchair friendly and I was pleasantly surprised by employees actually being available and enthusiastic. Cash registers were actually nicely arranged. While there are end caps here (those enticing areas next to a cash register designed to get you to buy one last thing), they aren't cluttered and are surprisingly pleasant. I had the chance to stop in before an event at Jazz Kitchen across the street. The Fresh Market is best described as a specialty grocery store rather than a more full-service one. They offer easy meals, fresh foods, restaurant-quality meet/seafood, premium produce, baked goods, deli platters, and more. They also carry flowers. While I didn't really find what I was looking for, everything I found made me smile. It made me realize how much I wanted to return when I had more time to really explore it fully. Everything I saw really seemed to emphasize quality. This location is one of four in Indiana with the others being in Fort Wayne, Evansville, and Carmel. Since I wasn't able to find what I was looking for, I have a hard time going with the full-on five-star review. However, I'll add the disclaimer that I was rushing due to time constraints and very much look forward to returning at a time that allows me to really explore shopping here as it's close to my home and so incredibly pleasant. Grocery shopping usually stresses me out. Here? It actually relaxed me. Four stars for now. I'm sure I'll be forking over that fifth star in the future.

First off let me start with I love Fresh Market in Broad Ripple. This is my first bad experience…read more Ordered a sandwich platter for Super Bowl to simplify my life and it did not turn out well. However, I was waiting in line 12 and a child in front of me dropped some coins and was paying for his own cookies. His mother was in front of him, so I helped him try to find his coins and so did she, and there was only one person behind me. Everything moved along relatively smoothly, but when I got up to the register, and the mother and son had left the cashier who is an older lady wanted to complain to me about the woman that her son taking too long and moving in the way, and having their cart still there whatever I told her twice that it was not a big deal and that I didn't care about the weight, but she wanted me to join in with her in demeaning this customer that was before me. It really put a bad taste in my mouth because she was neither pleasant nor kind. I expect a lot more from the cashiers at Meijer because I've never had this experience before, but I was in a really good mood because it was New Year's Eve and she really soured the moment. How rude.

It has been nearly nine years since my original review of this Meijer location, an eagerly…read moreanticipated arrival for me as a longtime fan of Meijer. An updated review is long overdue. First off, the anticipated battle between Wal-Mart and Target has been a non-starter. All three still co-exist within about a mile or so of each other with Target, in particular, blossoming with the growth of Glendale Town Center. While my original review was for opening weekend, this review is now several years in with hours changed, staffing patterns established, and a sense of the mundane established. ADA still tends to be fine (and slightly better than Target in my opinion. The Ben's Pretzels that was here is long gone. The South Bend Chocolate Company spot that was planned never came to be. The area where you can buy pizza is a small dining area at the back of the store with a few tables and a vastly reduced selection. The pharmacy here is still a highlight. I've always appreciated the staff - something I can seldom say about the rest of the store. As a chain, Meijer has a long history of hiring people with disabilities and frequently for more than being a doorway presence. In the battle of the three major stores (Target, Wal-Mart, Meijer), there's no question Target's the winner. I primarily head to Meijer for certain items, for pharmacy (I don't care for CVS pharmacy, a Target partner), and for ice. I also head here because the accessible parking is superior to Target and Meijer has small carts that are easier for a wheelchair user to manage. Customer service? Clearly a Target win. It's not even close. Even at opening, Meijer fell short and it's only gotten worse here. Last night, I visited Meijer in search of a few items. I can almost never find help to reach an item. Customer service continues to carry on personal conversations in lieu of serving people. The self-serve check-out is nearly always unreasonably long. Actual check-out lanes are typically 2-3 available with ungodly long waits. As an ostomy wearer (if you don't know, you probably don't want to), mine actually popped last night because I was in line so long waiting. Seriously. Seriously inexcusable. I live about 2 miles and five minutes from this location. I frequently get in my car and drive all the way to McCordsville because that location is better staffed, friendly, has greater selection, and is immensely cleaner. I realize it's newer, but it's actually been a while and I consistently have a better experience. Yes, I know McCordsville is a small town. Yes, I know 56th and Keystone is a bit rougher area (as evidenced by the fact that security and/or IMPD is consistently a presence here). But, really? If you're going to have this location why not show some pride in it? My feelings of "meh" have given way to feelings of embarrassment to the Meijer chain for this location. I should not have an ostomy pop because I've waited in line for so long trying to check out. The cashier? Perfectly fine (I do tend to view Meijer employees as Stepford employees...incredibly robotic and devoid of personality). Am I done here? Probably not. It's too convenient. However, more and more I'm giving my hard-earned dollars to Target and/or making the trip to McCordsville. This area deserves more than a dirty and under-staffed Meijer with a worse selection. I absolutely want Meijer to continue to be here - I just want this Meijer to be representative of the best of Meijer instead of the worst.
