I love shopping at this store. Their prices are what kept me away before because they were just too expensive, but I've noticed that they've gotten more price friendly recently. Well, compare to whole foods. Haha. All in all they have great tasting stuff like! My fave is the trader joes pita bread. Soooo good!! Their hummus is also pretty good. Great customer service here. The manager was very kind when the watermelon we purchased had been slimy even though we bought it a couple hours ago. We were able to take it back no questions asked and the manager even offered us a second one at no charge. The location is very clean and all the employees I have interacted with have been very friendly and helpful. read more

BEWARE!! I was shopping there on January 23rd when someone stole my wallet from my handbag that was on my cart. I realized the missing wallet at checkout, managed to pay with an emergency card that I keep; went to my car to make sure I hadn't dropped it in the car, Came back to give the manager my phone # in case someone turned it in; went back to my car and started getting messages from my banks about hundreds of dollars of purchase at a Walmart store. I had to call the banks which took about 10-20 mts, then went back to the store to tell them that my wallet was robbed from my purse and if they had cameras. They don't have cameras and no one helped me all this time now 30-45minutes have passed since someone took my wallet and left the store to rush to Walmart to use my cards. One of the managers told me that this has been happening a lot, not just in their store but all stores on Washington Street. He added that what "these people" are doing is someone will get your attention and another person will take your wallet". My questions are: If this is happening why there are no cameras on that side of the store, as this is done as soon as you get into the store or else they don't have time to run out and shop with your card. Why no one helped me or police which came later to look at the cameras in parking lot. Why no one offered to go talk to a couple of workers in the produce section that were putting items on, may be they noticed something. Their products are good and the cashiers are always friendly! read more

We are visiting La Quinta from Northern Michigan for February and March and staying in a condo with a sparsely furnished kitchen, I've heard of TJ's before, but haven't had much prior experience. We visited the LQ TJ's and I fell in LOVE! The staff, the selection, the quality!!! I made the HUGE mistake of doing my initial "stock the condo kitchen" at Von's, and even joined their "club" to get their sale prices and was disappointed in Von's high prices. Later that day we went to TJ's and I was SO impressed. I wish I could have returned my entire Von;s experience. The prices at TJ's are lower and the quality is higher, I will do ALL my shopping here for the next two months. Our town, Traverse City, MI will be getting a Lucky's later this year, and I only wish it would be a TJ's!!!! TJ, you have a new fan!!! read more

I love Trader Joes. Sometimes the lines are super long and certain checkers are slow BUT they are always incredibly friendly and helpful

I literally just left this location and wow Debbie the girl who helped me did not even acknowledge me at all, I waited in line behind three people and she greeted every single person in front of me and when I got there she didn't even look at me just rang me up and gave me the receipt and when she did she gave it to me she had a dirty look, When I got my bag and was walking out she returned to greet the people after me, That was so rude!! The most awkward few minutes of my life! I had NEVER felt like this before and it feels terrible, while she was ringing me up you can feel the awkwardness between her and I and also the people behind me as There was no communication between her and I.... What a Shame that this trader joes can pick and choose who to single out!! read more

I am a huge of fan of Trader Joe's! They have the best and most affordable half and half if you are a coffee drinker! We also love their cheeses, almond butter, pesto sauce, Korean BBQ sauce, lettuce/spinach, corn chips, organic frozen fruit and veggies selection, affordable wines, holistic cat food etc. The only downside would be the long lines in the middle of the day during the season/events. read more

A world without Trader Joe's would be dismal. I have shopped at TJ's in northern California, and now, near my home here in the desert. We are fortunate enough to have three stores in the valley. I am surprised at the people who think TJ's is an expensive store. Where else can you find jumbo eggs for 99cents, milk for $1.39 a half gallon and a large assortment of good cheeses at wonderful prices. PLUS many items for the health food customer. A wide assortment of wines from two buck churck to the more pricey items. For those who like good food,, this is the place. I couldn't live without the La Brea whole grain bread. If you haven't discovered it yet, you have a treat in store for you. They have stores in Cathedral City, Palm Desert and the newest one in La Quinta. Enjoy! read more
