And even though it's a good-sized store, I've been amazed that I actually haven't been able to find a couple of items I specifically came in for. I do like their large self-checkout area. Parking is ample, but they can get busy, and in 110+ degree heat, nobody wants to walk that far to/from the front door. I'm also not a fan of blocking and/or locking one set of doors at night. (I thought that was illegal when the store is open?) I get that it's for safety, but it's annoying when you're unfamiliar with the layout, and all they do is place random signage or carts to block it.

When we confirmed that our stay had a full size kitchen, it made sense for us to do a full round of grocery shopping, to try to eat-in more. This Albertson's was convenient on our way back from dinner, and we ended up buying a lot more than anticipated. Even though it is a sister store of Von's, it still required us to download the Albertson app to be able to get the savings from digital coupons. We ended up using the store Wi-Fi, and everything applied correctly. The gentleman behind the meat/seafood counter was friendly, and provided us good choices in various meats. Now it's just a matter of finishing everything before we have to go back home.

Trader Joe's - Smells exactly like a fresh tomato leaf. Might be an acquired scent...

Get there soon as things are seasonal and when they run out, they're gone. You still have some time though... But it's alway nice to walk into the store and see all the fancy Cinderella pumpkins ready for the autumn seasons. The amazing selections of fresh cuts flowers which is alway a must to get whenever you're there. They do have some of the best selections to choose from as well as the potted plants and orchids plants. With TJ, even with a list of things to get you still walk out with a cart full of things that was never on the plan. They know how to get you with their things...lol.. I can never leave with what I come for. The isles are alway neat and fully stocked with everything. If there's something that's not there but looking for it, someone is alway there to help you in any way. Staffs are alway so friendly and welcoming. The friendly chit chat while ringing up all your stuffs. It may not be a massive big grocery store but does have everything you need.

And I have to say that I have never had a bad experience in any way. Anyone who has any concept of this store knows that it's not the biggest in terms of selection of everything. It's a smaller store with fewer options but it really doesn't matter. The food they sell is so good. I love their own product line of groceries. Their golden oreo style Joe-Joe's cookies are like crack-cocaine. I can scarf a whole box in one night! I don't do that anymore, I'm in cookie recovery. But I know one of these days I'll fall off the wagon but I'll be fine with that. They have great prepared foods like meatloafs you can toss in the oven when you don't have time to make something from scratch. I love their Atlantic salmon with lemon herb butter. That's really delicious. Sadly, some products come and go. They used to have a sweet onion bacon vinaigrette that was phenomenal. We not only used it in salads but also to saute Brussels sprouts and other veggies. My entire household was sad to see that disappear. They have a great selection of supplements and very affordably priced skin care products which, according to some instagram users, claim are just as good as high end products that sell for a lot more money. Their fresh cut flower section is incredible. They're so fresh and are better quality and the best priced compared to any other grocers who carries flowers. They also have beautiful orchids and many different varieties. They sell a small collection of plants that always gets my attention. And like everything else at TJ's, their prices are better than anywhere else. Lastly, I have to give a shout out to Trader Joe's consistent excellent customer service skills. Trader Joe's is a shining example of a customer-centric culture with really great employees/staff that are engaging, know their product very well, are very willing to help and are down to earth. It reminds me of a bygone era where people were more engaging/friendlier twenty-five or thirty years ago. I think it's important to acknowledge how Trader Joe's shines in every way.

Of course as most places in the desert, there's also loads of parking. Another location that's part of a mini strip mall. Plenty of parking and quite maintained with the traffic. I maybe eat my words later on depending on day and time of next visit....lol... Of course at the entrance, a nice little area with all the potted plants. There was a good amount compared to the other locations I've been too. Not sure but I think all the locations get new shipments with plants quite often. The store itself is a pretty decent size and the isle is pretty wide so it makes it easier maneuvering with other shoppers and the carts. Everything that I came for were all in stocked which is great. Didn't have to ask any of the sales associates if anything was in the back. Layout is pretty much similar to all the other stores give or take its reverse when you walk in. Overall, another great location with everything is stocked. Amazing staff and friendly service.

First and last time at Sprouts La Quinta…read more We stopped in around 8:20 PM last night 08/16/2026 because we wanted to try the Family Meals we've been seeing advertised. We went to the deli and stood there for about five minutes before realizing we needed to press the service button. An employee came out, so I asked, "Hi, is the deli still open?" He responded with an attitude, "Yes, but I work the meat department," and walked away. I understand he may not have been the person who could help me, but a simple "Let me get someone from the deli" would have been enough. Instead, the interaction left me feeling unwelcome and embarrassed. I spoke with the manager, Steve, who apologized and offered to help, but by then we decided to leave. I really want to believe this was a race thing and I want to believe it was just a bad day for the wannabe butcher or he seriously hates his job, but regardless... that was not ok. What really stood out was what happened next. We went to Ralphs on Jefferson, where the customer service was ON POINT. One of the employees even took the time to interact with my daughter who is autistic, gave her a Pokémon card, and she gave him a high five. That small interaction meant more than he probably realized. We weren't asking for special treatment. Just basic kindness and respect. Learn something, Sprouts.
