Line to get limited time bags
    Liz P.

I'm so glad there's one nearby. I don't have to go to south San Jose. The workers are very helpful and nice. I made a mistake of using their internal tablet to look up if they have the ube pancakes available. One person politely told me it wasn't for customers. LOL. It is well stocked but not with the limited time bags they do 3-4 times a year. It's really clean and handicapped friendly.

So many fun choices! Love when I come here. The bagged Caesar salad doesn't have anchovies, they have 2 so be careful. It's literally the best. Got pretty much everything I came for except frozen fettuccine. Sad. I did find my wine that I normally get at Whole Foods for $25. It was $9 here!!! So I stocked up. Love the lip masks too and they had a new flavor. The store was so clean and well stocked. Parking in the garage wasn't bad. Karen the cashier was very friendly. TJ's workers are always in such a good mood.

Beautiful peonies and passion fruits from TJ's!

Convenient location as I live nearby and can walk to the store. Love the exotic fresh fruits here. Bought some passion fruits and they were amaizng! Produce is nicely arranged and dog treats are always in bulk. They have peonies for $9.99 and that's a dream price. They smell wonderful! Plenty of fresh potted herbs available so will be bringing those home. I have always been treated well here so no complaints. Happy!

Went grocery shopping on a Tuesday evening, parking was plentiful in the lot, no crowds and no waiting in the store, and service was fast and friendly at the register. The place was bright, clean, and spacious, with items well stocked, and everything we purchased was fresh, with fair pricing. Got a bunch of fresh fruit, tangerine juice, dairy products, pimento cheese dip, plantain chips, and other snacks. And of course gotta love the unique variety of cookies sold here, got one of my faves, Lacey's dark chocolate almond cookies, so yummy and addicting.

Great service as always. The parking in this lot can be tricky as it's narrow with parking on either side. If you continue around the bend its a bigger underground lot. I love to check out the plant section and they had some cool succulents as well as your large array of flowers. Food selection was well stocked and i had such great luck here. today as I picked up a Raspberry Kringle in the bakery section. All in all another great experience at this TJ's.

I attempted to purchase a tote bag in TJ's Greatmall today and the bag was hidden and are no longer displayed on but are instead available at the customer service area. The customer service guy whom o spoke to at 8:42am mentioned that there is a limit of one bag per customer. I would like to inquire about the possibility of purchasing 2 bags, given my loyalty as a customer. It was frustrating to make a special trip early from work only to be limited to buying one bag. TJ's is my fave store. look how fan I am, I would say a negative star to that TJ's Greatmall branch.

This supermarket is located inside the Park Victoria Plaza in Milpitas, California. It seems like this is a Vietamese run and owned supermarket, with a select few staff who also speak Chinese, as well. This is a very older supermarket in a smallish shopping center, but also has plenty of parking spaces. The inside is very old, and could really use a remodel to make it more modern, but for a supermarket, it does the job. The cleanliness isn't quite there compared to a 99 Ranch Market or other chain supermarket, but thus one seems like a single location, non chain. The prices here are pretty reasonable, especially for the fruits, not sure how they are able to compete with other stores and offer fruits are relatively low low prices. Oranges are $0.49 LB! These is the cheapest I've seen, even previously, they've offered them at $0.39 LB too. Again, not sure how they can sell them so cheap! We also really like the Fried Tofu they sell here for $4.99, the only supermarket that sells this kind. It's large sized, fried square tofu puffs. We get this every visit we come here. They sell alot too! The customer service here is really non-existent, meaning there is basically none, unless you speak their language, which is vietnamese. They automatically start talking to you in vietnamese, not much english with the cashiers, although they do understand basic english. Plenty of parking in the lot, so no worries there and they also have plenty of shopping carts for customers to use. However, I wish they would provide some shopping cart corrals for the parking lot, so customers have a place to return it after use. Overall, just a 3 star. Basic supermarket, nothing spectacular.

Not many markets do this or in comparison to multiple markets I've gone to in the Bay Area. Additionally, they also clean and fry your fish for you! May not have everything you're looking for, but for me their fish selection is a must. They also have a decent selection of staple vegetables and fruits like bok choy, bananas and yams. I'm taking one star off for the mislabeling or maybe I did buy the wrong fish (when I took the fish home, I saw a different name marked on the sticker). This isolated incident isn't going to keep me from coming back. And when I do, I'm always headed straight to the fish aisle. Overall, I definitely recommend everyone to check out Lion's Supermarket!

Overall, it's still convenient in a good location for shopping. Great Value brand breads are now $2.17 per loaf compared to $1.20-$1.39 not long ago and the bread size shrunk-unfortunately. English muffin and bagel prices are better than a few months ago. Cheese and eggs aren't cheap. Best value is in the frozen vegetables section. Red meats aren't cheap here. But, you can always grab a full bag of frozen red salmon/shrimp/or chicken meat for under $11 per bag. My home cooked salmon tasted great. Grab a few boxes of crackers, dips, and toppers for delicious DIY appetizers at home. Grocery section is always a blessing. Auto maintenance service isn't great. A guy who was supposed to remove a nail off one of my tires years ago didn't do it after over 4+ hours there. I reported that case to the manager. Another technician who did my oil change allowed oil leaks or didn't screw the cap tightly. Experienced it multiple times in the past. Long hours of waiting half day isn't worth the frustrations. Clothing selections are ok, but they rarely have sales deals on nicer looking items. What I didn't like is this Walmart moved the self checkout to the very back side of the checkout counters now. It's narrow, cramped, and much smaller than months ago. Inconvenient. It's probably due to previous shoplifters near the entrance and exit doors. Cashiers aren't all friendly or helpful. HMart is my favorite Asian/ Japanese Food Market. I have yet to find a location that is as great as…read moretheir location in San Diego. That said, I went to this location on Fathers Day. I knew the store would be busy... and it was. The store was overwhelmed with customers, and it was like dodging cars on a freeway. The music was so loud and frenetic for having so many customers in the store that I left with sensory overload. Honestly, it would have been a huge benefit to the store and their employees to have calm music in the background to set a much more quiet atmosphere. It's known that music greatly helps to keep things calmer when things are this busy. The entire group I was with felt overwhelmed when we left the store and needed a quiet break from the chaos. This has never ever happened for me in an HMart so taking that into consideration. That said, I was looking for some Ahi for sushi making. They had fresh thawed ahi steaks for 5.99 lb which is a good price. Many people understand that freezing fish can kill parasites. They only had one pack so I asked at the meat counter if they had more. They said they would have them at 5 pm. The frozen ahi sashimi grade tuna was priced at something like $49.99 a pound. I've never seen a price like this which is was mind blowing. But I digress. A sign of the times? Not sure. I'm not a Karen. lol. I highly respect stores and how hard people are working especially on a busy holiday. I asked the butcher if it could possibly be given a bit earlier than 5 pm because I lived far away. He turns to another person and starts talking about me in Spanish thinking I did not hear or understand what he was saying. He was majorly bad mouthing me. I looked at him and said..."I understand Spanish." That's all I said. He looks embarrassed and said "sorry" and walked away really fast. I didn't follow him, talk to him, report him to management or say anything to even acknowledge his rudeness. I'm saying something here without his name on purpose. He was probably having a bad day. I honor that. But the entire experience at this location is one I've never had at HMart. Most likely I won't return to this location. No... I'm not mad at this butcher. I don't know what his day was like. I know what the energy was like in the store and the music alone with that many people could put anyone on edge. I didn't find many places in this store very helpful. We did get some great items which is why I rated it 2 stars. Otherwise it would have had one.
