Same Traders Joe as mountain view location but somehow I dint like the feel and look of this location not as inviting as the one in mountain view, may be because im used to seeing aisles a certain way. But it carried all I wanted but a lesser selection of bread...TJoe's is a great find for some quality produce at any neighbourhood and this is conveniently located amidst tons of restaurants and Starbucks, Yogurtland and many others. They had more selection of frozen patties than the other locations and i loved that. Employees were warm and friendly and check out was very quick. read more

This is a very small store with about the worst parking lot for any of the TJs. It is a smaller store, so they have a more limited selection, and there is generally a long wait to get out of the store. read more

I too prefer the TJ's in the Rollings Hills plaza - less hectic and more parking. Because I live so close to this one, I fight the mobs. It's best to go in the mornings when it is quiet. The afternoons, especially Sundays are crazy. You can be sitting in a line for quite sometime. Who doesn't love Trader Joe's!? This is where I always can turn to for cheap, fresh organic food. Although the parking circle here can get a little chaotic, and I wouldn't be caught dead here around 3:30ish (when the mommas drag their children in after school carpool pickup)...this place is great. Let me preface this, I love Trader Joes. I love this Trader Joes. I've always shopped here, and despite the parking, I think its a good trade-off for good groceries. For me, I try and avoid gluten free products, as it makes my stomach upset when I eat too much of it, so Trader Joes is my staple. I wouldn't reccomend getting a ton of produce/ bread as it does tend to go "off" pretty fast. Unless you plan on eating it within a few days, I would rather get it from my local Albertsons. One of the many reasons however that I like Trader Joes, is that they have alot of fresh packaged ready to go meal items such as salads, sushi, pizza's, ready to cook/microwave/bake, so you can grab something and take it to work or pick something up when you don't feel like really cooking after such a long day. This is what I do, because you can still eat healthy for a decent price. $4-$5 salads, instead of going through some kind of fast food drive thru. However, on (3-14-12) I purchased the Heart of Palm & Artichoke Salad with Raspberry Vinagrette, and ate it yesterday for lunch (3-15-12) - Last night I became violently ill, throwing up and other things I won't mention because I'm sure you can already use your imagination. Now when I lived in San Francisco, I had a similar experience during the Spinach recall, and got violently ill. Any prepackaged salad mix, I usually wash, but this was already mixed with its ingredients, I didn't think anything of it. I really should have. I haven't slept yet, beccause I have such bad stomach cramps, and can't keep anything down, including the medication to break my fever. I called the doctor to see if maybe it was something more like a stomach flu, and not something I ate, however she believes it was the salad, due to that being the only thing I ate, the nature of how the sickness came on, and my symptoms still. I am calling Trader Joes to forwarn anyone else who purchases it, and I know I should be more careful with these salads, and make sure I wash ALL produce very well. I just wanted to put this out there for others, in case they were planning on getting a salad or produce from this location! I still love Trader Joes, don't get me wrong. But just be careful, as something like this can make you violently ill. read more

Awesome staff and great selections, as per TJ's usual. I am pretty new to the gluten free world and one of the guys was nice enough to show me where some of the tastier GF stuff is in the store, and even printed me out a current list of their GF foods. SO helpful! Their prices are pretty wallet-friendly, too. I did go at around 1pm on a Friday so it wasn't nearly as crowded as the weeknight/weekend times - I just can't take the rude carts and kids crew sometimes. Hoping one day the parking lot is revamped... it is just painful! Otherwise, it would be a lot less stressful if the big metered parking lot across the way took credit cards... maybe one day. Love my neighborhood TJs. I enjoy coming here cuz of the great people that work here, ocassionally there will be the snail checker that's a slight annoyance when I see the next guy/gal getting through 3 customers before I get through mine when I'm next. Grrr. I don't know why they can't stock apples by the bag with consistency, sometimes is Org Fuji (my fav), sometimes Org Gala, sometimes reg Gala, sometimes none at all - frustrating! read more

Eh - just like all of the other reviews. Smaller store. Bad parking (but pretty much all TJ stores have bad parking lots). OK selection based on it's size, good for filler trips to the store. Staff is super friendly. Prices are good, and comparable or better than the Von's, Ralph's, and Albertson's in the area. read more

Definitely a smaller trader joe's but the people are real friendly and it's less crowded than the others. They carry the main popular items and the lines to checkout are hardly ever much of a wait. It's also in a nice little shopping center next to a starbucks, jamba juice, and pinkberry. read more

Trader Joe's in Redondo is convenient and there is plenty of parking (meter) in front of the store. This is not the biggest location, but it is never overly busy and they always have what I am looking for in stock. read more

A smaller Trader Joe's in Redondo. I usually go to bigger one on Hawthorne and Del Amo Blvd, but this place is just fine. I appreciate that it's always clean and neat, and the staff are always helpful. I was looking for a juice that was low on sugar and one of the guys went through the entire juice section to find me the right one! The only thing I have to complain is about the tiny parking lot that seems to be always packed, and you have to pay at the metered lot across the street. Other than that, I love TJ~ read more

I shop at Trader Joes quite a bit, especially at this one since I moved nearby. They offer some really cool, unique products and the prices are pretty reasonable. Doesn't hurt that I love Lindeman's Framboise and they carry it too. The parking lot is kinda tight, especially when it's rush hour, everybody and their mother just got off work, busy. But, there is a lot across the street that offers ample parking. I think it's metered though. read more

I would give 5 stars but this is by far the worst parking lot for a market! If your not slamming on your brakes cause some soccer moms kids are running out of yogurtland you're in line like the 405. trying to get out of the lot there is only one exit and the same stupid kids are runnin around. Awww, I love walking here from my beach bungalow 2 blocks away. Be prepared though if you're driving, during busy and non busy hours it can be hard to find the free parking in the loop. The isle staff here is always available and ready to assist you and the checkers are always friendly and talkative. I hate leaving this store though, there are always solicitors outside! I know Joe's can't legally do anything about it so I don't blame them but it can be annoying. If you're running in to grab lunch, there are great little tables and chairs with umbrellas outside to sit at and eat or soak up the suns rays :) read more

Very tough to get a spot in there but right across the street they have a big parking lot with meters. Not too bad if you're shopping trip will be pretty quick. Trader Joes is great. Love the small store. I can get everything I want and get in and out really quick. The staff are really helpful and very kind. The produce is great, good selection, great food. Great freezer section. And I can pick some beautiful fresh flowers to spoil myself on my way out! Yippee! Best to get there early, or don't go when it's typically crowded. I always loved Trader Joes and I've been living near this one for 6 years now. I absolutely love the fact the everyone is so friendly, the manager(s) were always so helpful without questioning the reasons why we need to exchange or whatever, they always have fresh food and if I ever had a problem I am sure they would solve it. Also I am really happy that they allow service animals! I have a service animal myself and sometimes I take him with me everywhere so I am glad I don't have to leave him at home to go do groceries. The only think that makes me crazy and I am sure it is not Trader Joes fault is the Parking situation of that place! There is never enough parking spaces and it truly generates stress! Lots of stress to the point you don't wanna buy anymore since is just chaotic. read more

I shop at Trader Joe's more than any other store. I love the variety of their products! However, my one hope is that Trader Joe's will start requiring their vendors to label GMO/Non GMO. As I become more educated on this topic, I'm realizing the importance. I want to know what I'm putting into my body and that of my family. All modernized countries label....including Russia and China. It's really what we deserve as consumers. I'm seeing more and more labeling at stores like Whole Foods and Sprouts but not so much at TJ's as of now. Hopefully that will change. If not, I will shop more at those other stores. read more

After shopping here, I absent-mindedly left my two bags of groceries in the parking lot (not the one right there). I called to ask if anyone had turned them in. Store manager Jennifer told me no, but then invited me to come back in and they would replace everything I just bought. Such great customer service and all around human kindness! I LOVE Trader Joe's, hands down my favorite place to shop. I should own stock with the money I've dropped there. Very unique healthy/organic items that are hard to find any place else, at rock bottom prices. You just cannot beat their prices. The energy is always high, and the workers all seem happy and up, like they really enjoy working there. Not just this store, every TJ's I've been in. Fun/casual atmosphere with cute decor. The only negative is the parking sucks at this particular store. They do have limited free parking in front which is usually full, but there is paid meter parking across the street. This area gets real congested with traffic since it's next to a Starbucks. It's for this reason I usually drive to the Torrance store to avoid the parking headaches... read more
