This place stiffed me back when they were in norwalk. Bought carbon fiber tail lights for my Harley Edition Truck and an air intake. Over $500 for the two items. Air intake installed easy and never had any problems. On the other hand the tail lights would get condensation and moisture inside during a rain. I took them back and explained to the guy what was happening but he would not believe me. He felt there was no way water could get in. Then he tried to blame me for damaging them. I couldn't have been more disappointed. The front right side of my 96 F150 was sagging pretty bad and I figured I needed new coil springs, so I did what we all do now and I searched the net. In a dealer search on gorancho.com I found that Traders was my closest authorized retailer. So I call them up and tell them whats wrong and that I'd like to buy new coil springs. Instead of giving me a price for said coil springs he tells me that I really should bring the truck in so that he can take a look to make sure thats actually the problem. Against my better judgement, I agree. When I get there He seems very friendly and knowledgeable. I liked the shop. It was very clean. He takes the truck to the back and takes a look. Of course, its the coil springs. Without even finding a part number or checking the price he proceeds to tell me that it would cost $200 to install the springs and that the springs themselves would cost $275. I tell him he's crazy and that I've done quite a bit of research and that 275 dollars is double what they cost. he just looks smugly at me and treats me like he couldn't give 2 craps about my business and doesn't care what I think at all. I only wanted to buy a set of coil springs not get ripped off by this jerk. I came to Traders because I wanted to support a local brick and mortar store. But Traders obviously doesn't need my business. It must be nice. So I took my business elsewhere. Thanks for nothing Traders Truck Accessories. read more
