Here is the receipt. I was told by Diane (that sold her the items) that she did not recall the purchase and obviously did not mention a gift receipt. Crappy store policy not to honor their return policy. The owner did come out and state, only an exchange. Horrible policy! The sales gal was trying to help me and make conversation, and was nice. I was also told, wow, we usually do not do exchanges. If you are a small business owner, honor your policies.

So I asked for a store credit as I was pressed for time - then again the clerk went back to the nameless, faceless person in the back who had to grant permission for a store credit (yes, really).
