The ladies that run the place are nice and friendly. We were told that Main Street will be closed for construction and no parking will be allowed for a few months starting 7/15/24. She has masterfully mixed the antique with modern conveniences. Updated mattresses, pillows, and bedding were comfortable. We stayed in 1st and 3rd floor rooms, with private bathrooms. There is no elevator, but that was no problem as there are a couple of private bath suites on the main level. The towels were plentiful, spotless, soft, and thick. The water was hot and rooms were quiet. All of our rooms were clean and free of any funky smells. No stains or goo anywhere. The included breakfast was good- eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, bagels, toast, fruit, juice, milk, coffee, etc. All staff were friendly, kind, and catered to us personally. We loved stepping out the back door of the hotel and watching the geyser erupt. (Minerals from the geyser's mist coat windows, so you may want to park in front.) The hotel sits right next to the train tracks, but complimentary ear plugs are offered to guests (and we recommend you utilize them). In the hotel there is a small gift shop, cafe', and museum, as well as a large room available for receptions. If early 1900s ambience and history are your thing, you will love staying at the Enders! We were very comfortable and can't wait to go back again!
