The good: We got the original raspberry shake and Chad's jammin raspberry shake. Both were great. I liked how it wasn't raspberry flavor added to a vanilla base. It also wasn't overly sweet. The raspberry chunks inside were nice. They had plenty of outdoor covered picnic tables on the enclosed lawn so kids could run around. This was the first raspberry shake we had ever had in Bear Lake. They sold jams, hot sauces, clothes and other merchandise inside. The bad: There's no indoor seating. The interesting: They had plenty of food options outside of shakes as well.

Food quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Always getting their raspberry shakes but it wasn't until today that I tried their Chiplote Shrimp Wrap and it was delicious, crunchy and full of flavor. From the tomato basil wrap they used to the crispy shrimp, they did an excellent job with this wrap!

We are staying at Rendezvous Beach for a couple days and this place was recommended by one of the cute girls working at the rental office there. This cute burger joint is located just up the street from the beach. They had our order ready super quick. I highly recommend the loaded fries!!! That pulled pork is sooo flavorful! We will definitely hit up this sweet spot next time we're in town.

The story behind their raspberry products. So moving!

We were the first customers of the season and my husband had their brand new "North Beach" burger that includes pulled pork and pineapple. He thoroughly enjoyed it. The onion rings and french fries all had the perfect crunch. The gals working there are so very nice. Definitely our cup of iced tea.

Okay I don't give many ratings but I have to say. I'm impressed and that is saying alot. We ordered burgers and fries. And they where hot, fresh, we'll cooked. Staff was friendly and working hard to get the massive line of people through quickly. The burger was actually a burger you can see and taste. I know it's hard to run a business with prices going up all the time. Requirements from state and federal government and finding help that wants to work and show up and is friendly is hard but. They nailed it. Way to go!!. Stop in even if there is a line it's worth the wait. The shakes look amazing going to have to come back for one.another time.

What a fun find. Worth the drive to lake town. The burgers were delicious! The cheese is melted on the girl with the burger so it gets crispy! The shakes are an excellent price and so many fillings. Not to mention delicious. I felt like we found a little gem by bear lake. The service was great and fast. But picnic tables to eat at and were covered from the sun.

I came here alone on a particularly stormy August day with lightning striking all around and hail pounding the pavement beside my car. So I scanned the menu through the windshield, made my choices, and ran up to order a avocado queso burger, fries and a raspberry Nutella shake. The food did not disappoint but also did not quite live up to the $20 price tag. The burger was a little small, but it was tasty - the meat being noticeably seasoned! The fries were also good, but my shake seemed to lack any Nutella at all. Not sure if it was a mistake with my order, but it just seemed like a straight raspberry shake, which was still good. They do have a large selection of shakes many of which involve raspberry - it being the regional specialty. They also have a good selection of burgers and sides other than fries. Overall I would still say it's worth the drive to that side of the lake for better quality food and no line, but it ain't cheapo depot. Burgers alone run in the neighborhood of $7-$10. Sides are $4. Tack on a delicious shake and you might be pulling up your account balance to make sure the charge goes through.

Best shakes at Bear Lake by far! Creative menu options that always delight. Absolute must for Bear Lake visitors and locals alike. I only wish their hours were a little more expanded. Two thumbs up!

Bear Lake's Best-Kept Secret (That Apparently Everyone's Mad About?)…read more Let's get something straight: I've eaten at Bear Lake my whole life, and up until now, "dining out" here meant a basket of something fried in oil older than the lake itself. So when I tell you Campfire Grill made me remember what actual food tastes like, understand the weight of the statement. The margherita pizza comes out of the wood-fired oven blistered and glorious--like it's personally trying to make up for decades of regional culinary disappointment. The wedge salad's blue cheese has a faint smoky thing going on, dotted with tiny chives, and tasted like somebody in that kitchen has actually left the county before. And don't get me started on the wings: homemade buffalo sauce, still crispy, and not a hint of gas-station-regret afterward. Add giant open windows that turn the whole dining room into an al fresca reprieve, competent waitstaff, and you've got yourself an actual bona fide restaurant in a place that has subsisted on fry-baskets since one of the Roosevelt administrations. So, to the one-star crowd: I don't know what you were expecting. This isn't Salt Lake City. It's Bear Lake. And for Bear Lake, this is nothing short of miracle work.

Be patient as it takes a while to receive orders. They are known for their traditional danish Æbleskiver's which are essentially pancake balls. They have a variety of flavors and toppings, sweet and savory. They also have a lunch menu as well as breakfast items besides the pancake balls and an assortment of drinks, juices, coffees, housemade flavored waters. I got the beach babe water, very strawberry forward. I will try something different next time. The Æbleskivers were well prepared and my entire family enjoyed them. I'm not a big fan of pancakes, I prefer a crispy waffle. The stand out of our experience however was the friendly service from the woman taking our orders. She was so welcoming and talkative even though they were very busy. It was our first time here and she treated us like local friends. Once she spotted our dog she immediately searched for her dog treats and offered one. While we were waiting for our food I asked for a small cup of water for our dog. A minute later the woman who took our order walked out with a large, clean dog bowl filled with cool water. It really put a special touch to this darling place. Even though I dont even like pancakes we will return just because of the hospitality. BTW, check out the adorable shack filled with crystals, candles and lovely jewelry. You won't be disappointed!

To give some context, I had been struggling with depression and having a particularly difficult day. My husband thought getting me out of the house, taking a scenic drive to Bear Lake, and treating me to one of my favorite comfort foods, cheese dip from this restaurant, might help lift my spirits. The drive was beautiful despite the rainy weather, and for the first time all day I actually started feeling a little better. That feeling disappeared the moment we walked into the restaurant. The restaurant was not busy, yet my family stood at the host stand for quite a while without being acknowledged. Employees were nearby, but no one greeted us or even let us know someone would be with us shortly. While we were waiting, a server spoke with a gentleman behind the host stand. Immediately afterward, a group seated near the entrance was moved to a different table. We were then seated at the exact table they had just vacated. The silverware was still disheveled from the previous guests, and it became obvious why they had asked to move. Every time the front door opened, cold air blew directly onto the table. Seeing that there were at least eight or nine open tables throughout the restaurant, I politely asked our server if we could also move. Her response was that her boss said we could not. Thinking there must be some misunderstanding, I looked around at all the empty tables and asked if there really was not another table available. She explained it would be outside of her section. As someone who has worked as a server myself, I understand section assignments. However, this restaurant is very small, and the alternative tables were only a short distance away. It was not a matter of a long walk across a large dining room. The part that really bothered me was the attitude. The request was met with annoyance rather than understanding. After refusing, the server abruptly responded, "No, so what do you want to drink?" At that point, we decided to leave. We calmly gathered our three children and walked out. No one apologized, no one asked if there was a way to make things right, and no one seemed to care that a family was leaving. What makes this especially disappointing is why we came in the first place. We had driven 2.5 hours specifically to visit this restaurant because my husband was trying to help pull me out of a difficult slump. We were not looking for anything special, just a warm meal, a comfortable table, and a pleasant experience. Instead, we were treated like a nuisance for making a simple request in a nearly empty restaurant. I rarely leave negative reviews, but the combination of poor hospitality, dismissive service, and a complete lack of concern for the customer experience left a lasting impression, and unfortunately not a good one.

Why does everything they sell have to have aioli or arugula or some weird overbearing sauce. Would have been happier with a d nice burger with at least an option to get lettuce/tomato and onion on it. Our party of 3 tried different burgers and we all had complaints. Sauce WAY too spicy, the crispy onions on my Bob's burger looked like something that can out of a can and not real onion crisps and the other was just plain bland. All burgers were bland. Buns felt like day-old buns from the grocery store and were barely toasted. Clearly made in a rush. Fries were so-so regular fries were a bit over-done and the garlic fries were OK . Biggest complaint is the brice - grossly overpriced for the quality of food. Making burgers with odd-ball ingredients doesn't make it gourmet - just weird. This place needs to step up its game an focus on quality food, not just weird burgers..
